The separator creates and maintains a slurry with a controllable density for separating minerals from drill cuttings. The density is controlled through the use of an electric coil and magnets to create a magnetic field or electrode array. The separator comprises a primary separation chamber containing the dense slurry, and a multiple number of secondary separation chambers used to separate cuttings from the drilling fluid. The invention also contains inlet hardware allowing the mixed mineral suspension to enter the first separation chamber, and hardware allowing the three outlet (separated) streams to exit the device. One of the three outlet streams carries the minerals that have a density greater than the user selectable density set point, while the second carries the minerals that have a density less than the density set point, and the third carries clean drilling fluid.

A value which each predefined feature assumes for the item is measured. A data record for the item is generated including the measured feature values and the measured processing attribute value. The item is transferred into an intermediate storage device, into a transport device and to a processing system. After reaching the processing system, a value is newly measured which each predefined feature assumes for this item. The data record generated for this item is determined using the feature values from the new measurement. If this item has an identification read clearly during the new measurement, the data record is determined based on this identification. Otherwise, a search with a restricted search space is executed. The processing system processes the item using the processing attribute value in the determined data record.

    Abstract: A dispenser feeds tablets from a storing section to a packaging section. A tablet-adhered powder removal device is provided in a preparation section between the storing section and the packaging section. The preparation section has rotating open-top receiving portions, and the tablets for one package are fed to each receiving section. One side wall of each receiving section includes a fixed plate having a groove-ridge portion, while the opposite side wall includes a swing plate. The swing plate vibrates when a cam roller rides on protrusions during the rotation of the receiving portion. Due to the vibration, the powder adhered to the tablets between the plates is stripped and removed. The powder falls from a gap formed by opening the plates, and is discharged to the outside. When the cam roller rides on a cam, the swing plate is swung and drops the tablets in the receiving portion.
