The connection mechanism can be a snap fastener that holds the ornament in place. The connection mechanism can also be a pouch permanently attached to the upper, and the ornament can have a clip that mates with the pouch. The ornaments of the present disclosure can have a variety of features, textures, and other media.

Abstract: A boot extension arrangement extends the upper boot portion of a skate to accommodate additional forward flex of the skater's lower leg about the ankle while maintaining or contributing to lateral stiffness. Two extenders are attached either side of the upper boot portion that oppose vertical buckling while allowing the boot to wrap around an open channel that accommodates bending movement of the user's lower leg about the ankle. The ability to flex forwardly and provide lateral stiffness throughout the movement contributes to better skater performance.

Abstract: According to one aspect, a mechanism for wirelessly adjusting tension of an article includes a tension input component that is coupleable with a vehicle in an area that is easily accessible to a user. The tension input component is configured to receive input from the user corresponding to an adjustment of a motorized tensioning device that is attached to the article and that is configured to adjust a tension of a tension member. The tension input component is configured to wirelessly transmit the received input to the motorized tensioning device. Adjustment of the tension member tightens or loosens the article in accordance with the input received from the tension input component.

Abstract: A fastening unit includes a base, a fixing seat, two shaft seats, a main body, an engaging member, and an abutting member. The fixing seat and the two shaft seats are disposed on the base. The main body is detachably disposed on the two shaft seats. The engaging member is connected to the side of the main body that is away from the two shaft seats. The abutting member protrudes from the bottom surface of the main body. When the fastening unit is in a closed state, the engaging member engages with the fixing seat. As a result, the bottom surface faces the base, and the abutting member is adjacent to the base. When the fastening unit is transferred from the closed state to an opened state, the engaging member disengages from the fixing seat, and the main body pivots relative to the two shaft seats.

At least one resilient prong on the other component has oppositely protruding posts and first and second cam surfaces. The first cam surfaces are configured and arranged to urge the panels apart and thereby accommodate insertion of the prong into the passage to a locked position at which the posts are in snap engagement with the locking surfaces. The second cam surfaces are configured and arranged to act in response to flexure of the prong towards the central axis to urge the panels apart and to thereby accommodate withdrawal of the prong from the passage.

The surfaces are preferably constructed of narrow sheets of flexible polymer plastic materials having generally high tensile strength. These parallel ridges may be double sided (interlocking on both sides of each shaped ridge with the next shaped ridge on either side) or single sided (interlocking with a single ridge oriented 180 degrees from the first). A plurality of clips are removably secured to the cable, wherein each clip can hold a pair of socks, gloves, or other paired garments for the purpose of keeping the garments together while being washed or dried. Each clip includes an aperture that is able to receive the elongated cable therethrough and a plurality of teeth that prevent the paired garments from becoming removed therefrom while in the washer or dryer. A clip, along with a clean pair of garments thereon, can be removed from the elongated cable in order to store the pair of garments together in a drawer.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a telescoping band system that may be used to fasten an object to another object. An example of such a system is a watch band for securing a wrist watch to a user. The telescoping band system includes a plurality of linking elements that are coupled together. Additionally, one or more pass through elements extend through the linking elements. When the pass through elements are pulled, the linking elements move closer together. As such, the telescoping band system and adjust to the size of the object, such as the user's arm.

Abstract: A capture apparatus and method for safely picking up and moving a portable electronic device into a fire containment case. The apparatus includes a tray portion having a rectangular base, opposing sides orthogonal to the base, tapered rod attached to the rectangular base between the opposing sides, and slide rails attached to the opposing sides. A lid portion is also provided and includes five sides of a rectangular prism-shaped structure defining a cavity within the apparatus for holding the malfunctioning portable electronic device. The first side end and the second side end of the lid portion include slides for slidable engagement with the slide rails of the tray portion.

The reservoir is connected to a piston driven pump and/or valve that produces foam, for example, by aeration with ambient air through a mesh. A finger trigger provides pumping force. In an implementation, the foaming pump or valve draws air and liquid cleaner into a chamber and dispenses these to the brush head through a fine mesh screen, which aerate the liquid cleaner into a foam at the brush head. A rotary locking device with a push button can allow the head to swivel on the handle.

Abstract: A short wavelength visible light-emitting toothbrush with an electronic interlock control device preventing operation when the toothbrush is removed from the user's mouth. The electronic interlock control over operation is necessary to prevent accidental eye exposure to the high intensity light source with a wavelength in the range of 400 nm to 500 nm. Abstract: A self-positioning drawer slide designed to secure a drawer for a recreational vehicle (RV) from opening unintentionally during transit. The self-positioning drawer slide includes a plurality of slide members, a latching fixture, and a catching fixture. The drawer is connected to the interior of the cabinet through the plurality of slide members. The latching fixture selectively engages the catching fixture to secure the drawer within the cabinet. The plurality of slides includes a first edge mounting tab and a second edge mounting tab which fasten to a vertical support of the cabinet to further support the present invention and prevent give or play between the present invention and the cabinet.

Abstract: The invention concerns a method for manufacturing a slider pad with rounded edges which comprises the following steps: providing at least one felt element which has: a first face covered with an adhesive, said adhesive being coated with a protective layer and a second face opposite the first face; performing in the felt element a plurality of cuttings whose shape is suitable for obtaining a plurality of slider pads which have each a first face covered with the adhesive coated with the protective layer and a second face opposite this first face ; hot-pressing the second face of each of the slider pads obtained at the cutting step so as to make said second face of each of the slider pads convex.
