Publication number: 20160167251Abstract: A new process for creating a decorative surface on a cast concrete tile. A mold is prepared by coating with mold release. An aggregate of water, coloring dye, sand, Portland cement, and preferably filler material such as pea gravel is pre-mixed. Baking soda is mixed with a significant volume of water to create a high-viscosity paste. The paste preferably has a high solid to liquid ratio so that it can be crumbled into baking soda clumps of various sizes. The dampened baking soda clumps are sprinkled randomly onto the bottom surface of the mold (which will bear against what becomes the top surface of the cast tile). The pre-mixed aggregate is then added to the mold. Once the aggregate is cured, the cast concrete tile is removed. The baking soda clumps create complex voids in the tile's upper surface, producing a surface texture similar to limestone.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2016Publication date: June 16, 2016Inventors: Ann P. Publication number: 20160167279Abstract: A preform, which makes it possible to obtain PEF containers (bottles) having the awaited properties, notably mechanical, by an industrial injection stretch blow molding process, is of made of a thermoplastic PEF polymer of 2,5-FuranDiCarboxylic Acid (2,5-DCA) monomer and monoethylene glycol (MEG) monomer and comprises a neck end 2, a neck support ring 3, and a closed tubular body portion 4. The preform is designed so as to produce, by injection stretch blow-molding, a container, the axial stretch ratio of which is greater than or equal to its hoop stretch ratio. Also provided is a plastic container 10, preferably a bottle, obtained by injection stretch blow-molding of PEF preform, the bottle 10 having an axial stretch ratio greater than or equal to the hoop stretch ratio. A method for manufacturing the bottle 10 is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 1, 2013Publication date: June 16, 2016Inventors: Jean-Paul BESSON, Marie-Bernard BOUFFAND, Philippe REUTENAUER

Publication number: 20160167280Abstract: In at least some implementations, a blow molding apparatus provides that portions of the parison are engaged by one or more clamping devices disposed on or adjacent to the blow mold parts, and that the blow mold is opened whereby the parison is torn apart between the clamping devices, into two or more pieces of the parison. In other implementations, the clamping devices may be moved relative to the blow mold to tear the parison, or the parison may be torn by a combined movement of the blow mold parts and clamping devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 19, 2016Publication date: June 16, 2016Inventors: Albert J. Publication number: 20160167281Abstract: The present application provides a blow molding mold and a blow molding product fabricated with same. The blow molding mold includes two mold halves, where one mold half is provided with a slide path penetrating through the wall of the mold half, and the slide path is arranged at a position corresponding to a part, on which an adhesion reinforcing structure needs to be formed, of a blow molding product; the blow molding mold further includes a pressing block and a driving apparatus, where the pressing block fits with the slide path in a sliding manner and is used to exert a pressing force on an injected hollow parison so that the adhesion reinforcing structure where inner and outer walls bond together is formed at a pressed position of the fabricated blow molding product. The blow molding product is highly firm on the part of the adhesion reinforcing structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 13, 2014Publication date: June 16, 2016Applicant: NADFINLO PLASTICS INDUSTRY (SHENZHEN) CO., LTD.Inventors: Wai Shing Sze, Sun Tat Ng
