Abstract: A novel multi-compartment gabion assembly configured for treating stormwater is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the novel multi-compartment gabion assembly comprises a plurality of adjacently positioned and integrally connected gabion cells that includes at least one regular gabion cell and at least one corner gabion cell. In other embodiments, the novel multi-compartment gabion assembly comprises a wire mesh gabion that has a filter bag conformally positioned within the gabion, wherein the filter bag is made from at least two different water permeable sheet materials.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide resistance hanging screens, configured for installation into a storm drain or a component of a storm drain, that comprise a front plate and first and second hanging pivots. The combination of the location of the center of gravity of the resistance hanging screens and the first and second hanging pivots confers a bias of the resistance hanging screens to occupy a closed position when the resistance hanging screen is installed in the storm drain or the storm drain component.

Abstract: Method for temporarily closing off a grate (111)-covered gutter (110) of a paved part of the earth's surface (100) by means of a closing organ (130), the gutter (110) being connected to a sewage pipe (120). Thus, the draining away of contaminating liquid can be prevented. According to the invention the gutter (110) comprises a closing organ (130) comprising a valve (131), which valve (131) is fitted rotatably in the gutter (110). The valve (131) can be in a first stable position wherein the valve (131) seals. The valve can also be in a second stable position in which the valve (131) releases the gutter (110) for the discharge of liquid (rainwater) to the sewage pipe. The invention also relates to a closing organ (130) suitable for use with the method.

Abstract: A structural connector for fastening structural components together includes a floor. Two spaced sidewalls extend from respective sides of the floor, the floor and the sidewalls defining a channel in which a first of the structural components can be received. The sidewalls are configured so that the sidewalls can be fastened to the first structural component. A positioning arrangement is operatively arranged with respect to the floor so that the floor can be positioned on the second structural component for fastening to the second structural component.

The module is formed from a plurality of hollow extrusions that are longitudinally welded to form a riser portion and a runner portion. The riser portion rises vertically from a connection to the runner portion. The interior of the extrusions may be used as concealment spaces for hardware or to aid in fluid drainage. Connections to a support structure may be spaced at distances of 20 feet or greater.

Abstract: A stay-in-place concrete form includes masonry shells layered with rigid insulation tied with plastic cross tie assemblies. The masonry shells can be connected with plastic dovetail connectors that compensate for the variation in height of the shells. This allows for the shells, together with the connectors, to be a consistent height and allows for dry stacking. This dry stacking method can result in labor time and training savings over conventional masonry mortar construction.

The heat panels each include a body including at least one channel configured to accept a heating element. Tongues and grooves or other mating arrangements on the panels and the fastener permit two panels to be joined by a fastener so as to inhibit relative lateral movement and enhance heat transfer between panels. A single panel or a multi-panel system can be mounted directly on the roof, and/or a single panel system can be mounted in a gutter. By using these heat panels and fasteners, heat panel systems of varying widths can be made using the same supplies.

Abstract: The trim system is comprised of a J-trim component to be secured onto a surface such as a wall of a home, and a ledge component to be secured within said J-trim component. The ledge component is comprised of a slot along a longitudinal axis of the ledge member in order to mate with a hook portion of the J-trim component, and is also comprised of keyholes on the lower surface of said ledge member in order to secure it to the wall as well. The ledge member has two leader grooves located on opposite extremities of the slot in order to reduce the wear and tear of the ledge member's cast mould and therefore extend the life of the mould.

The outer wall is formed of a number of panels connected together in layers. The tank floor is elevated above the ground and is enclosed within the outer wall. An upper portion of the outer wall, the ceiling, and the tank floor cooperatively form a tank chamber for holding a fluid or other substance. A lower portion of the outer wall forms a lower chamber underneath the tank floor. The elevated tank is constructed by connecting a layer of panels together and jacking or lifting them up, then bolting another layer of panels together underneath the previously connected layer of panels, and continuing building the elevated tank from the top down.

When a burglar grinds a bolt head of the casing, an internal circuit of the electronic bolt seal is automatically disrupted so that the tampering of the electronic bolt seal can be detected.

The base has a through aperture and applies the sliding unit to adopt commonly the locker assembly. The sliding unit can assemble a turning application rod penetrating both the through aperture and the penetration hole. While the rocker arm is depressed, the toggle rotates to slide the sliding unit and so as further to drive the turning application rod inside the through aperture and the penetration hole to further perform the unlocking of the door board.

Abstract: A product is disclosed for latching a closure having a striker. A fork bolt may engage the striker. Primary and secondary detent levers may be positioned for selective engagement with the fork bolt. The primary detent lever may engage and retain the fork bolt in a primary latched position. Upon a first rotation, the primary detent lever may disengage the fork bolt which rotates to a secondary latched position and into retaining engagement with the secondary detent lever. Upon a second rotation, the primary detent lever may interact with the secondary detent lever to rotate it to the disengaged position and disengage it from the fork bolt which then rotates to the open position.

Abstract: An unlocking device has a release lever that is connected pivotably to a carrier element and is in each case connected via Bowden cables to a catch hook for clip elements in a vehicle hood. Abstract: A deadbolt door locking apparatus for a side hinged door is provided that includes a deadbolt having a longitudinal axis. The deadbolt has a handle protruding therefrom. A housing for the deadbolt has an aperture external face. The handle slides in the aperture between an extended position with the deadbolt overlying the door, and a retracted position with the deadbolt clear of the door. The housing has a first wall and a second wall that together bound the deadbolt and connecting the external face to door frame mounting plate. A mounting bracket having a cut-out adapted to receive a door latch extending from the door into a door jamb is provided that is integral with the housing and extending perpendicular therefrom. The mounting bracket has a length of at least twice the extended position of the deadbolt.

Abstract: A screwless-mounted window/door lock may include a handle assembly and tongue assembly. The handle assembly may include a base member, a handle member pivotally mounted thereto, and an elongated arm disposed through an opening in the base member, with a central portion pivotally mounted thereto. The handle drives the arm to pivot. The base member has a plurality of selectively arranged hook members, a portion of which are received through an opening in a side wall of the window/door frame to secure the handle assembly thereto in the horizontal direction. The tongue assembly may include a tongue slidably received in a housing. The tongue is actuated by pivotal movement of the arm. A second portion of the book members on the base member are received through a top wall of the frame to engage protrusions on the tongue housing to secure the handle assembly thereto in the vertical direction.
