Abstract: A smart crib is provided that includes a horizontal support platform and one or more vertical surfaces connected thereto that enclose a space above the horizontal support platform and/or define a space above the horizontal support platform. The horizontal support platform and/or the vertical surfaces may include one or more sensors that can be used to learn behavior of the crib occupant and/or determine conditions of the occupant and/or environment of the crib and/or the crib's surrounding area. The crib may receive responses from a client device and/or automatically act upon a detected condition in the crib or with the occupant.

Abstract: An arrangement convertible into several baby care items. The prior art knows solutions to combine some baby care items, such as a chair padding and a bag, but these combinations are difficult to use and more items are required to carry with when traveling with a baby. The present arrangement can be converted into a folded form forming a bag, into a semi-folded form forming chair padding, and into an unfolded form forming, when the material is set the first side up, a changing mat for diaper changing, or, when the material is set the second side up, an infant carrier, which can be fastened to a chair or carried by a person.

Abstract: Play yards and methods of operating the same are disclosed. An example play yard includes a collapsible upper frame, a collapsible lower frame, and posts to support the upper frame above the lower frame. The posts include respective tracks. The example play yard also includes an enclosure operatively coupled to the upper frame, the lower frame and the posts. The enclosure defines an enclosure volume. The enclosure has a plurality of corner beads dimensioned for receipt in respective ones of the tracks to secure the enclosure to the posts.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an infant play yard with multiple reconfigurations. The infant play yard includes a frame structure that is reconfigurable between a deployed configuration and a storage configuration. Rotatably coupled to the frame structure is a set of legs that are reconfigurable between a deployed configuration and a storage configuration. The infant play yard includes an infant play yard cover that is coupled to the frame structure, the play yard cover having an exterior and an interior. Moreover, the infant play yard further includes a sleeper insert that is removably coupleable to the frame structure. The sleeper insert, when used in conjunction with the frame structure, is disposed between the sidewalls of the play yard cover. The sleeper insert is configured with locking covers that are removably coupleable to the legs of the play yard frame.

Abstract: The present invention is a pre-construction sample that is made of a flexible material and has a product image corresponding to an actual construction product. The pre-construction sample is preferably at least 18 inches in one dimension. The pre-construction sample is preferably produced by a printing process having at least 200 dpi, and more preferably 300 dpi. Kits of pre-construction samples are provided to assist the consumer choosing from among various construction products, such as flooring, decking, countertops, cabinets, windows, shingles, among others.

Abstract: A thermo mug having a mug cover and a mug body, a water discharge opening and a steam discharge opening provided on the mug cover, a valve provided in the mug cover for controlling the steam discharge opening to open first and then the water discharge opening to open subsequently, and a press button connected with the valve and provided at one side of the mug cover. The press button controls the valve to move. The present invention has a simple structure which allows discharge of the steam first and then the discharge of water by using one single button so that users will not scald themselves by the discharged hot steam.

When in use, a front pressing opening of the pressing unit and a first body opening of the main body can communicate with each other only by pressing the pressing unit that protrudes out of the main body. At this time, a hook segment of a clothes hanger can pass the front pressing opening and the first body opening to enter or depart from the hook. As a result, the hook for clothes hanger does not need any specific operational effort for opening the hook, and only needs a simple press for both opening and closing the hook. One device includes a portion for positioning whole, intact, shelled eggs positioned laterally across and above a cooking mold conveyor, and a portion for cracking the eggshells and depositing the eggs into cooking molds on the conveyor. Some devices and methods include an egg yolk splitter for rupturing the egg yolk sac to deposit a whole egg having a ruptured egg yolk into each mold. Other devices and methods include irregular shaped egg molds for providing a mass produced cooked egg having a natural, irregular shaped outlines and/or surfaces. Devices and methods according to the present invention can be used to produce irregular, outlined shaped cooked egg products including whole eggs, formulated eggs, or eggs made from scrambled egg mixes.

Abstract: A coffee brewing device, such as a cold coffee brewing device and related methods are disclosed. The device includes a container, a supported horizontal plate that holds filter paper in place, and a spigot below the horizontal plate. Coffee grounds are placed on the filter, then water is added to the container such that minimal disturbance of the coffee ground bed occurs. When the spigot is opened, liquid is removed in a north/south (up/down) direction through the coffee ground bed. The coffee ground bed serves as a first filter, the filter serves as a second filter, and the chamber below the horizontal plate serves as a coalescing chamber where sediment drops out thus serving as a third filter. The resulting liquid dispensed from the spigot is amber in color and clear.

In one alternative, the apparatus is used for preparing a single dose of beverage through pressure infusing, or in another alternative, for the preparation of a beverage in multiple doses using a filter and by percolating through a filter. The apparatus includes an accessory for containing a quantity of product for a single dose, housed within the infusion chamber in place of the filter. The upper opening of the accessory could be closed by the lower surface of the cover when it closes the infusion chamber. An electrical power supply is also included.
