Abstract: The present invention provides a garment for lower parts of the body wherein the garment comprise volume enhancement pads sewn into the interior of buttock area of the garment. The pads provide voluminous look to the buttock of the person wearing the garment. The pads are sewn between the interior surface and lining of the garment such as to blend with the natural curves of the wearer. The stitching pads to the garment provide the advantage of non-slippage of pads during movements of the wearer.

Abstract: Disclosed are a fabric bonding structure and processed fabric goods having the same. The fabric bonding structure includes: a first fabric; a second fabric provided so as to be in contact with the first fabric; and a bonding member having a first surface and a second surface at the other side of a side of the first surface, and being folded so that two points of the first surface meet, and the second surface being bonded to each of the first fabric and the second fabric, and the fabric bonding structure is applicable to processed fabric goods, such as clothes and bedclothes. According to the fabric bonding structure and the processed fabric goods having the same, it is possible to isolate fillings filled inside a fabric from the outside even without forming a sewing line, and bonding force at a bonding portion is excellent compared to a method of forming a sewing line or a bonding method using an adhesive in the related art.

Abstract: An insulating garment for use as thermal and moist repellent barrier in a firefighter bunker gear is disclosed, the garment being adapted to be worn by a firefighter under a bunker gear. The garment being made from a fire-resistant insulating fabric comprising: a first woven or knitted fire-resistant fabric layer; a second woven or knitted fire-resistant fabric layer; and at least one monofilament yarn interconnecting the first and second layers, thereby creating an insulating space between the layers. Each monofilament yarn is made of a material having a compressive strength from about 0.5 to about 2.5 cN·cm/cm2 and a resilience superiors or equals to about 25% to maintain the insulating space between the layers and therefore thermal and moist insulation. Preferably, the material further has a high melting point and/or high transition temperatures. The material of the monofilament yarn may comprise polyphenylene sulphide (PPS), polyetheretherketone (PEEK) or Polyetherimide (ULTEM™).

Abstract: The present invention is a set of suspenders requiring only a single strap, which enables a person wearing them to disconnect them for their trousers without having to remove the suspenders along with any coat, sweater or outer garment they may be wearing. The suspenders of the present invention require only two connection points, rather than the three or four connection points required by conventional suspenders. The present invention in several embodiments uses two small hooks that connect directly to the user's belt, rather than trousers.

Abstract: A cost-effective synthetic turf system with a plurality of layers of infill material. According to various embodiments, a synthetic turf system includes synthetic grass and a plurality of layers of infill material. In one embodiment, the upper layer of infill particles generally “sit” on top of a lower layer of smaller particles. Because the smaller particles will tend to become more densely packed, the larger particles will tend to remain on top of the smaller particles. In certain embodiments, the upper layer is treated with a light colorant, such as green, yellow, white, etc. Depending on field and environmental conditions, the coloring may reduce surface temperatures by up to 30% compared to conventional infills.

Abstract: In a wig clip having comb teeth movable in and out of contact with an elongated part of a wig clip frame, each of the comb teeth is fitted with an elastomeric sleeve. The elastomeric sleeves on the comb teeth cooperate with an elastomeric sleeve of the elongated frame part to grip a user's natural hair frictionally and thereby resist slippage of the wig clip relative to the user's natural hair and hold a wig base to which the wig clip is attached firmly in place on the user's head.

Abstract: A kit to facilitate identifying at least one glove particularly suitable to be worn by a particular individual includes a backdrop having at least two visually-discernible calibration marks disposed thereon, a camera, a memory having stored therein characterizing parameters for a variety of different gloves, and a control circuit that operably couples to the latter. The control circuit presents to a kit user via a display an image of the particular individual's hand as placed on the backdrop, and then presents a plurality of user-placeable markers by which the kit user marks particular locations of the particular individual's hand. The control circuit then processes the image of the particular individual's hand as marked by the kit user and as a function of the two visually-discernible calibration marks to identify at least one glove that is particularly suitable to be worn by the particular individual.

The support base includes a front projection extending outwardly therefrom, a rear connection rib coupled to a top rear of the support base, and two diametrically-opposed apertures on a bottom rear of the support base. The headwear support system further includes a first elastic member having opposed ends, each end configured to be coupled to respective ones of the diametrically-opposed apertures and wherein the first elastic member is configured to selectively secure the headwear to the support base. The headwear support system also includes a second elastic member configured to be coupled to the rear connection rib and configured to be selectively coupled to a button of the headwear. A clip member is also included in the system and is configured to be coupled to the rear connection rib and configured to be selectively coupled to a travelling case.

Abstract: A motion restrictor device is operable to be worn with a protective helmet to reduce the risk of head or spine injury caused by injurious movement of the helmet. The device includes a helmet-engaging component supported on a harness. The component presents helmet-engagement surfaces positioned on opposite sides of the neck of the user. The component is operable to yieldably bias each of the helmet-engagement surfaces toward the helmet when the device is worn, such that contact with the helmet is maintained as the helmet-engagement surface shifts through a range of motion. The device also includes a brake assembly that restricts shifting of at least one of the helmet-engagement surfaces in response to injurious movement of the helmet.

Abstract: A ventilation system for an article of footwear including a ventilated midsole and a ventilated wing for routing warm/moist air from around a wearer's foot to at least one vent in the upper. The ventilated midsole and wings may be integrally formed from a sheet of ventilated material. Alternatively, the ventilated midsole and the ventilated wing are separately formed and fitted together within the article of footwear. When formed separately, the ventilated midsole may be molded with a cavity in the bottom surface to receive the wing. The wing may include a first portion disposed in the cavity and a second portion providing a flow path to the vent. The ventilation system may be used with a waterproof/breathable bootie. The ventilation system may be positioned inside or outside the bootie. The tongue may also include a tongue ventilation system with a tongue ventilation insert and a tongue vent.

Abstract: The technology disclosed herein includes a dual-molded layer overshoe apparatus comprising a cleat, a sole layer configured to receive the cleat, and an upper layer, wherein the upper is molded to the sole layer and the upper layer has a lower durometer than the sole layer, and wherein the plurality of pin plates are secured between the sole layer and the upper layer. Significant elasticity in the upper layer allows stretch for installation and removal. Reduced elasticity in the sole layer offers greater durability in terms of spike retention and abrasion resistance. In one implementation, the components are assembled in one contiguous, fixed arrangement, wherein the cleat is molded into the sole layer, and the upper layer is then molded to the sole layer.

Abstract: Aspects hereof relate to a footwear upper formed from a plurality of tensile strands interwoven with a webbing material. The upper may have a bootie configuration. At least a portion of the strands may extend between a lateral-side portion of the upper and a medial-side portion of the upper and extend over an instep region and/or a sole region of the upper. The tensile strands may be bundled such that a plurality of strands forms a single weft or warp. Bundles having differing quantities of tensile strands may form a pattern on the upper that is effective for aiding conformance of the upper to a wearer's foot while enhancing ventilation and reducing water saturation. The tensile strands, whether singular or bundled, may be effective for transferring a load of a fastening mechanism through the woven upper while allowing the upper to have a desired degree of elasticity, support and/or comfort.

Abstract: A lace holder for retaining the laces of footwear consisting of a pair of orthogonal, thin, elongated, flaccid members connected one to the other at their central regions. Hook portions and loop portions of a hook-and-loop fastening system are selectively disposed proximate the ends of each of the pair of orthogonal, thin, elongated, flaccid members. One of the thin, elongated, flaccid members is placed around a group of the laces of the footwear and its ends secured to each other by compatible hook and loop portions. Once the laces are tied, the ends of the laces are then retained by encircling them with the second of the thin, elongated, flaccid members. Excess lengths of laces are then secured. Indicia may be placed on one or more of the pair of orthogonal, thin, elongated, flaccid members in such a manner so as to be visible once the lace ends are secured.

Abstract: A hair styling appliance has a temperature regulation controller to mitigate heat damage to the hair. The appliance includes a pair of heated jaws that can be closed to grip the hair. A power control circuit responds to an activation sensor that senses when the jaws are closed, and a temperature sensor that senses the temperature of a heating element on the jaws. The power control circuit, in response to an activation sensor output, starts monitoring the rate of change of the heating element temperature, and, in response to a rate of decrease above a predetermined level, operates the heating element at a power level lower than a steady state power level.

Furthermore, the band is configured to form a space relative to the surface of the head. The space creates partial separation between the band and the hair, such that there is minimal disruption to the natural hair style. An air-tight reclosing seal at the opening allows the syringe to engage the air-tight reclosing seal, and extract the hair dye from the air-tight chamber. When the syringe is disengaged from the container, the air-tight reclosing seal closes off the air-tight chamber and permitting a known quantity of the hair dye to be withdrawn from the container into the syringe, allowing an accurate and repeatable quantity of hair dye to be dispensed from the container.
