Abstract: A golf club incorporating an interchangeable shaft system includes a shaft, a shaft sleeve, a club head. The shaft sleeve is coupled to an end of the shaft and is received in a hosel included in the club head. The shaft sleeve is removably coupled to the club head. Alignment features on the components provide discrete orientations between the shaft and club head.

Abstract: A golf club head includes a body defining an interior cavity. The body includes a sole positioned at a bottom portion of the golf club head, a crown positioned at a top portion, and a skirt positioned around a periphery between the sole and crown. The body has a forward portion and a rearward portion. The club head includes a face positioned at the forward portion of the body. In some embodiments, the crown includes a lattice-like structure having thin regions surrounded by a web of relatively thicker regions. In some embodiments, the club head includes one or more stiffening tubes attached between the sole and the crown to improve the acoustic performance of the golf club head.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion and a plurality of weight portions. The body portion may include a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, a bottom portion having a plurality of ports. Each port of the plurality of ports may be configured to receive a weight portion of the plurality of weight portions. The plurality of ports may include a first set of ports and a second set of ports. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for ergonomically carrying golf clubs. The method and apparatus entails dual shoulder straps to securely support a golf bag between the user's shoulder blades in an upright vertical orientation. A lifting loop provides a means for safely lifting the vertical golf bag onto the user's back with minimal arm strength by using leg and core muscles.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a single piece weight member that is generally configured commensurate with an existing, single piece component of a device to facilitate replacing the existing, single piece component of the device with the single piece weight member to modify a weight distribution of the device to a desired weight balance.

Abstract: A replacement pocket for the head of a lacrosse stick is configured to be secured to an existing frame for the head. The replacement lacrosse pocket is formed from a plurality of elongated runners that are oriented substantially parallel to one another. Each runner has a loop eye formed at its upper end. A length of cording follows a path that traverses the plurality of runners and weaves over and around the runners to form an open web. The cord forms loops along left and right edges of the web that can be secured onto sides of the frame. Packaging for the replacement pocket may be lightly adhered to it, to keep it in place until it is laced into the lacrosse frame.

Each of the front and back lateral tubes, and the left and right uprights and the left and right side tubes has a net slot leading into an internal channel. The internal channel may be formed by an arc section and side walls. A net is supported on the frame with edges of the net captive in the channels of the tubes. The frame has left and right net tubes attached to left and right back corners of the net and optionally applying tension to the net.

Abstract: Sensor systems and methods for quantitative assessment of sports performance are disclosed. In one embodiment, a boxing data server comprises a memory storing predetermined profiles of arm acceleration or rotation over time for one or more types of punches, a radio for communicating with one or more sensors on one or more boxers, and one or more processors. The one or more processors may be configured to receive, via the radio from the one or more sensors, one or more streams of sensor values indicating: (1) accelerations of a boxer's arm within a first range of acceleration, measured by a first acceleration sensor, (2) accelerations of a boxer's arm within a second range of acceleration, measured by a second acceleration sensor, and (3) rotation of the boxer's arm measured by a gyroscope sensor. The one or more processors may be configured to determine, based on the received sensor values from the first acceleration sensor, whether a punch landed but not to measure a force or velocity of the punch.

Abstract: An exercise equipment storage apparatus having a number of shelves, each having a support surface. A support structure in the form of a spine is arranged to support the shelves. A plurality of stop members are mounted on the support surface. The stop members define at least one storage zone for receiving the exercise equipment. The plurality of stop members are reconfigurable to selectively vary the position, size and/or orientation of the at least one storage zone. As such, the storage unit may be reconfigured to house an almost limitless range of exercise equipment.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cover for use with a lacrosse stick that specifically interacts with the net of the lacrosse head to protect the net and the pocket from the environment and selectively maintain a certain shape or contour of the pocket. The pocket retainer is a component that may be selectively positioned within the cover and thereby retains the contour of the net particular to the lacrosse player.

Abstract: An exercise weight support device includes a retractable belt with an upper end for attachment to a ceiling or other overhanging support structure to enable suspension therefrom of the exercise weight support device, a cradle and/or one or more hooks to enable the weight support device to be used to suspend a free weight from the ceiling or other overhanging support structure, a retracting reel mechanism attached to the lower end of the belt to selectively retract or pay out the belt to selectively enable vertical movement of the free weight to a desired height, and a trigger handle co-located with the retracting reel mechanism and operable to selectively disallow lowering of the free weight when the trigger handle is not continuously operated by a lifter performing a lifting exercise.

Abstract: A dental appliance is disclosed designed to protect a wearer's dentitions against injury from impacts suffered in sports or other activities that can cause chipping, fracturing, dislodging or evulsion of teeth. The appliance may be custom-fittable with at least one pocket having an energy absorbing fluid. The energy absorbing fluid be nanosuspensions of small particles in viscous fluids that can undergo shear thickening when the dental appliance is struck by an object. The appliance dampens and diffuses horizontal and axial forces and directs them away from dentitions thereby reducing the risk for dental injuries.

Abstract: Ski LNX is an apparatus that replaces the current plastic ski boot, by supporting and connecting a skier to the ski. With Ski LNX, the skier wears a LNX ski boot which is very similar to a winter boot, stands on the foot bed and is connected to the ski by gravity and a shin cradle that wraps the lower leg and is connected via a leg strap. Ski LNX emulates the connection, support and action of a plastic ski boot by adjustable mechanical means. A ski LNX can fit into existing ski bindings or another LNX model incorporates an integral releasable ski binding. The ski LNX connection system can be used for all types of skis and snowboards, and also supports rondanee, and telemark ski applications.

Each game participant manages a separate fantasy team involving a subset of the players or activities from the public endeavor, and at least a portion of the scoring is based upon the relative accuracy of a game participant in predicting statistically the performances of players or activities prior to the actual performances taking place. The system can also provide data regarding fantasy game performance predictions made by other game participants, such as averages of multiple performance predictions for various players or activities of the public endeavor.

The water valves can be used to define at least two different paths between the entrance and exit of the maze.
