A first step HIP temperature is higher than an initial melting temperature of low-melting-point alloy powder and more than 15° C. lower than a solidus of completely homogenized alloy. Pressure is ?90 MPa, and time is 20 minutes?t?1 hour. Heating is stopped after the first step to cool material until temperature is below initial melting temperature of low-melting-point phase. There is temperature keeping for ?2 hours, to ensure low-melting-point phase, formed during cooling after first step, is completely dissolved. Alloy is cooled after second step to room temperature as furnace pressure keeping continues. Formation of an original particle boundary is prevented or there is significantly reduced the number of precipitated phases on the original particle boundary in HIP procedure, to obtain compact alloy with microscopic structures as equiaxed crystals.

Abstract: The invention relates to a reaming element for a reaming tool capable of being driven to rotate about an axis of rotation for fine machining of a prefabricated bore, said reaming element having a front main cutting edge and a secondary cutting edge adjoining the radially outward end of the main cutting edge, wherein the main cutting edge and the secondary cutting edge delimit a chip-removing surface, and a polished chamfer, which forms a support zone for guidance on the wall of the bore, is formed between the secondary cutting edge and the rear flank face thereof. According to the invention the support zone is smaller than the polished chamfer and is kept a lateral distance away from the secondary cutting edge by an intermediate part, more particularly a recessed intermediate part, of the polished chamfer.

Abstract: A screw tap with replaceable tool bit has a holding body, a detachable blade, and a fixing element. The holding body has a receiving area and a first engaging portion. The detachable blade is mounted in the receiving area of the holding body and has a second engaging portion, and the second sharp part of the second engaging portion engages with the first sharp part of the first engaging portion. The fixing element is securely mounted through the holding body and the detachable blade. The detachable blade can disassemble from the holding body, and thus one holding body could be installed with detachable blades of various dimensions. As the detachable blade is damaged, the damaged detachable blade is replaced with a new detachable blade to keep processing.

Abstract: A wire electric discharge machining apparatus includes a machining unit that forms a product part by cutting off an outer frame portion from a workpiece and a control device that controls the machining unit. The machining unit machines a first boundary region in a boundary between the outer frame portion and the product part to leave an uncut portion, cuts off the product part from the outer frame portion by machining a second boundary region, which is the uncut portion, and repeats machining for the first/second boundary regions. When n is a natural number equal to or larger than 2, the control device sets, based on a machining state when the first boundary region is machined, different machining conditions as first machining conditions in machining the first boundary region for n-th time and second machining conditions in machining the second boundary region for n-th time.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling a welding operation are disclosed. A power source is in communication with a microphone present in an article of welding apparel such as the welding helmet of a welder. The welder provides spoken commands which instruct the power source to perform an action such as turning on a welding torch or increasing the speed of the feed of wire to the weld. This obviates the need for the welder to stop the welding operation and manually adjust the power source.

Abstract: An instantaneous gas purge apparatus distributes a flow of a gas, such as an inert gas, directly juxtaposed to a welding seam between two adjacent tubes. The device includes a central hub having radially extending stabilizer arms, mounted inside one of the tubes to be welded. A counterweight and a gas dispersion unit are independently rotatable relative to the hub. The welding operation comprises a continuous rotation of the tubes. Using a stationary welding device, the gravitational pull on the counterweight maintains the gas dispersion unit proximate the welding seam.
