Abstract: A device for sorting objects includes an input conveyor device with a plurality of input storage devices, which are movable in an input conveying direction. A loading station loads each input storage device with one object. An output conveyor device has a plurality of output storage devices, which are movable in an output conveying direction. A sorting end point discharges the objects. A first transfer region, in which the input conveyor device and the output conveyor device are arranged, allows objects to be transferred from the input storage devices into the output storage devices. A second transfer region, separate from the first transfer region, in which the output conveyor device and the sorting end point are arranged transfers objects from the output storage devices to the sorting end point. An additional sorting end point in the second transfer region enables more flexibly operation of the sorting device.

Abstract: A drilling and tapping machine includes a power head assembly supported at a vertical orientation, a parallelogram arm structure including a head support and an arm base, and an arm positioning assembly coupled with the head support and the arm base support for guiding corresponding movements of the head support and the arm base support so as to ensure a vertical trajectory of the power head assembly. The machine further includes a counterweight configuration to vertically move the power head assembly via a lever. The machine further includes an operational control assembly to selectively shift the power head assembly between a drilling operation and tapping operation. Therefore, the machine is suitable to make a hole with a diameter of 0.5 to 3 mm.

Abstract: A quick-release arbor is adapted for a cylindrical hole saw that has a bottom wall having a threaded central aperture and opposing indexing holes. The arbor has a central hexagonal passage with opposing key slots passing therethrough and a threaded hole saw fitting axially aligned with the hexagonal passage. The arbor has a hexagonal pilot shaft securely holding a pilot drill bit and intermediate opposing keys forming a position lock. The pilot shaft is adapted to freely pass through the passage. Within the arbor is a button chamber that is transverse to the hexagonal passage with a rear wall. A biased button is located within the button chamber having upper and lower cuts outs to permit the pilot shaft to freely pass through the cut outs of the button when the button is depressed and having rear pocket to capture one of the pilot shaft opposing keys when the button is released.

Abstract: A prismatic and cylindrical cutting insert for long edge rotary milling applications has multiple indexable cutting edges ranging from four to six or even more depending on the actual milling applications. Each cutting edge of a prismatic or cylindrical cutting insert provides a positive cutting geometry and is equivalent to an indexable cutting edge of a traditional single-sided parallelogram-shaped cutting insert having two indexable cutting edges (often referred as A-Style insert). The prismatic and cylindrical (including tapered or conical) cutting insert may be used for machining a wide range of materials including difficult-to-machine materials, cast-iron and alloys, aluminum and alloys, carbon steels, and fiber reinforced composites.
