Abstract: A tile system for use on a grid of a suspended ceiling comprises a plurality of tiles, each said tile having a main body having an exposed side and a concealed side, the exposed side defining a main surface, the concealed side defining a rear plane, and four side surfaces between the exposed side and the concealed side of the main body, wherein two of the four side surfaces have at least one tongue in the rear plane, and two other of the four side surfaces have at least one groove open to the rear plane. Fasteners, such as clips, are configured for attaching the tongues of one of the tiles to upside-down T channels of the grid, such that the rear plane of the tile is against a downwardly facing surface of the T channels of the grid.

A gypsum panel includes a gypsum core associated with a first fiberglass mat having a continuous barrier coating, the coating penetrating a portion of the first fiberglass mat opposite the gypsum core, wherein gypsum penetrates a remaining fibrous portion of the first fiberglass mat such that voids in the first fiberglass mat are substantially eliminated. A building sheathing system includes at least two gypsum panels and a seaming component to provide a seam at an interface between the gypsum panels.

Abstract: A bridging device in center girder construction for a building joint between two building components having at least two edge girders and at least one center girder is arranged between the edge girders and on at least one cross member bridging the building joint that each have a cross member bearing for bearing the cross member on the respective building components at their lateral ends. The object of the present invention is to provide a novel bridging device that is formed in particular space-saving. The initially described bridging device has a cross member having at least two cross member segments arranged along a longitudinal axis of the cross member and arranged displaceable relative to each other toward the longitudinal axis, so the length of the cross member is variable.

Abstract: A construction framing member comprising a framing member and an insulative material disposed in a channel within the framing member. Thermal bridging properties of finished walls constructed with the product are altered positively, by incorporation of the thermal break in the finished wall created by the insulative material within the framing members. A method of manufacturing the construction framing member is disclosed—a channel is created in an integral framing member using a saw, router or the like, for the placement of the insulative material.

Abstract: A roof product has a thermal heat storage layer, a vent layer with channels for transferring excess heat through a length of the roof product, and a flame retardant to suppress fire through the vent layer. These three materials form a unitary structure. The roof product may have a radiant layer, the thermal heat storage layer and the vent layer to form the unitary structure. The roof products are assembled in an abutting configuration on the roof of a building. The vent layer vents excess heat from an eave of the roof up to a ridge of the roof and out to atmosphere. The roof products manage thermal energy in the roof by storing thermal heat with the unitary roof product during a heating cycle; venting excess heat through the unitary product; and releasing the stored thermal heat from the unitary product into or out of the building during a cooling cycle.

The gutter bracket also has a gutter retaining frame having a pivot support and a pivot rotatably engaged to the pivot receiving channel. The gutter retaining frame has a first operative position when the gutter retaining frame is disposed upwardly, and a second operative position where the gutter retaining frame is disposed downwardly to facilitate removal of debris from a gutter.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of mounting a pool skimmer to a wall of a saltwater swimming pool to prevent rusting of the wall in the skimmer mounting area. This is accomplished by interposing insulators between the corrosive salt water and the holes necessary to mount the skimmer. The front bracket of the skimmer of the present invention has cavities to accommodate the interposed insulators. The insulators are a combination of one-piece screws with metal washers, and rubber-like washers made of a TPE resin. The rubber-like washer IS sandwiched inside the cavity of the front bracket by the screw's metal washers. The interposing insulators resist salt water from leaking down a screw's threads and attacking the integrity of the metal wall of the swimming pool. The insulators form a watertight seal around the screw thus preventing salt water from corroding the wall of the metal swimming pool.

To remove excess water or mud, a user lifts the front edge of the mat to cause the liquid to flow backward and out of the garage. Abstract: A hunting blind with an adjustable opening is provided to increase the flexibility of the hunting blind when the hunting blind is used in various activities. One or more covers at least partially cover the adjustable opening to produce a modified opening. Some embodiments of the invention may comprise fasteners, cords, and other components to arrange the one or more covers in different configurations. Various embodiments of the invention may also have a pass-through feature in an exterior wall of the hunting blind that provide access to the external environment. This may be advantageous for objects such as tripods where one of the tripod's legs may extend through the pass-through feature so that the tripod may be positioned closer to the exterior wall, which saves space in the hunting blind.

Abstract: The present invention relates tents, and in particular, relates to various features and accessories for vehicle roof-top tents. The claimed inventions provide many advantages over tents in the prior art. For example, the roof-top design frees up space inside your vehicle, and height acts as a secondary safety defense against wildlife and ground-related elements. Other advantageous aspects of the claimed inventions include a superior curved frame, removable shoe bags, a roll up window awning, semicircular windows, a canopy PVC window, an aluminum honeycomb tent base, an advantageous stowing arrangement for the canopy pole, bungee cord pockets, dual PVC skylights and a quick release mounting for the vehicle roof rack. Other systems, methods, features and advantages of the invention are also described and presented in the figures and detailed description.

The sliding seat includes an accommodating seat for receiving the elastic member. The sinking seat of the connecting seat has an inner diameter greater than an outer diameter of the accommodating seat to receive the accommodating seat. Each connecting rod has one end pivotally connected to a lower portion of the sliding seat and the other end to be pivotally connected to a corresponding tent top rod. The bolt passes through the connecting seat and the elastic adjustable member, and is fastened at the lower end.

Abstract: A portable shelter is provided for sheltering materials or human occupants at a remote location. The shelter includes, among other things, a flexible cover and a supporting frame. In operation, hinged members that are part of the frame are used to support a first portion and then a second portion of the shelter. Before the frame is raised up, the people who are constructing it can easily reach the top parts of the shelter without a stepladder or the like. By avoiding the need for a stepladder, the overall size and weight of the assembled components that have to be transported to the remote location can be reduced, and the shelter can be constructed more quickly and easily. Hinges, purlin connections, and corner closure systems for the shelter are also disclosed.

When the tent is put up, the first top pole is inserted into the securing and connecting device, and the first top pole and the supporting pole are crosswise arranged, the securing and connecting device is located at an extension direction of the first top pole. Since a cross structure is formed at a top of the tent and the first top pole is secured by the securing and connecting device, a supporting plane can be formed at the top of the tent when the tent is put up, expending the usable area at the top of the tent.

Abstract: A door lock detection system is disclosed. The system includes a magnet flexibly attached to a strike plate. The strike plate includes an opening. The magnet extends across the opening of the strike plate in a first orientation when a bolt does not extend into the opening of the strike plate. The magnet is configured to be deflected from the first orientation to a second orientation, distinct from the first orientation, in response to the bolt being extended into the opening of the strike plate. The system includes a magnetometer configured to detect one or more magnetic fields of the magnet that is flexibly attached to the strike plate in the first orientation and in the second orientation.

The multi function bracket is characterized in that, a compensation section of the elastic seal is compressed between a counter structure of the multi function bracket and the motor vehicle lock to provide tolerance compensation between the carrier and the motor vehicle lock.

Abstract: A code combination lock comprises a lock body whereto a first latch hook and a second latch hook are connected, a first catch 18 fixed in the first opening direction of the case, a second catch 19 fixed in the second opening direction of the case. When locked, the first latch hook engages with the first catch and the second latch hook engages with the second catch. The code combination lock further comprises a push module, a drive module, a lock blade and a code module. The code module is arranged to push the lock blade to fix or unfix the push module such that the push module could push the drive module to lock/unlock. With this kind of code combination lock, one can lock/unlock without having to put in code repeatedly.

Abstract: A sensor system for a locking system of a door includes: an acceleration sensor which is designed to detect movements of the door in at least two dimensions and to record a time-resolved acceleration profile; a magnetic field sensor which is designed to detect a magnetic field in the area of the locking system, to detect changes of the magnetic field and to record a time-resolved magnetic field change profile; and a control device which is coupled to the acceleration sensor and to the magnetic field sensor and which is designed to correlate the acceleration profile to the magnetic field change profile, to compare the profile correlation to a predetermined correlation signature, and to output an alarm signal if the profile correlation matches the correlation signature.
