Publication number: 20160332150Abstract: The invention relates to CeO2 and La2O3 for catalyzing Fe2O3—Al2O3 based chemical-looping reforming of CH4 with CO2 (CL-DRM). The reaction performance of all the composite oxygen carriers was evaluated in a fixed-bed reactor at atmospheric pressure condition. The influencing factors, including temperature and time-on-stream (TOS) were investigated. The characteristics of the oxygen carriers were checked with Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The reducibility of the composite materials was elucidated with temperature-programmed reduction by CH4 (CH4-TPR). Preliminary experimental observations suggest that the simultaneous presence of CeO2 and La2O3 can not only enhance the reactivity of Fe2O3—Al2O3 toward CH4 oxidation and its oxygen releasing rate for fast reaction kinetics, but also improve the reactivity of its reduced form toward CO2 splitting.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventors: Maohong Fan, Mingchen Tang

Publication number: 20160332172Abstract: Improvements for hydronic air separators enable removal of micro bubbles of the air and micro particles of dirt. Adding coalescing media (CM) to existing and new tangential and in-line AS helps remove damaging micro air bubbles and small dirt particles from the water by a physics principle called surface adhesion. When the small air bubbles and dirt in the water come in contact with the CM, they stick to the surface of the media and then coalesce into larger bubbles and clumps of dirt. The larger air bubbles can float up off the CM and out of the water, to be released from the AS though an automatic air release valve. The larger dirt clumps fall off the CM and land at the bottom of the AS tank where they can be expelled through a hole in the AS tank connected to a drain valve. Water can be filtrated leaving the top of a separator tank. In such arrangements, material in the water with a specific gravity lower than 1.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Applicant: SweepCLEAR, Inc.Inventors: Michael W. The caulk is thus colored to satisfy the requirements of virtually any application and dispensed from a caulking gun. In another preferred embodiment there is a caulking tube assembly with having a closed cap and a mixing component having a shaft engagement portion and a shaftless auger portion. The caulking tube assembly can also be used to mix epoxy.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 25, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventor: Charles J. Agnello

Publication number: 20160332190Abstract: A method of producing silica nanostructures, and more particularly, to a method of producing silica nanostructures is described to easily control shapes of the nanostructures produced with even using liquid phase deposition(LPD), so that the nanostructures can be applied to a circuit or a transistor using a dielectric material and can be applied to a large area, resulting in promising applicability to industries. The method includes method of producing silica nanostructures, the method comprising performing low-temperature liquid phase deposition (LPD) including adding silica to a liquid phase deposition (LPD) solution and impregnating silica beads in the silica-added LPD solution, wherein shapes of the silica nanostructures are controlled by adjusting the concentration of silica based on the following expression: 0<WF?WS??(1) where WF is the content of silica added, and WS is the content of silica required for the LPD solution to be saturated.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2016Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventors: Jin Seok Lee, Seo Young Yoon, Yi Seul Park
