Abstract: The “Dreador” is a energy saving, novel design, durable, lightweight, compact and portable It is a hairstyling Tool that would ease the task of tightening, locking, and sealing dreadlocks. It would offer greater control while twisting hair into Dreadlocks. This tool would provide a more attractive and professional result. The “Dreador” is approximately 3 inches in width and about 5 inches in length and ½ an inch thick. It has a worm screw in the center of the apparatus, it also has teeth near the handles that interlock For clamping hair, it also has rubber pads for gripping hair while twisting it and a swivel nob for this two step process. Dreador would be wrought from aluminum alloy using hammer forging or drop forging alloyed with zinc, copper or nickel for strength and corrosion. A manufacturer would determine the most effective forging process.

Abstract: A novel device for hair grooming comprises a flexible guide band and a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). The backside of the guide band may include a coating that prevents adhesion with the PSA to allow the device to be rolled up without the need for a liner. The device is configured to reversibly adhere to the hair and skin of a user to act as a guide for hair trimming or grooming. The device can be applied, removed, and reapplied without discomfort or damage to the skin or hair. The guide band is preferably made of silicone rubber and the PSA is preferably a pressure sensitive silicone or acrylic gel. The device may take on a variety of shapes and patterns. In one embodiment, an intermediary bonding layer positioned between the guide band and the PSA allows for the use of a broader range of guide band materials.

The spring has a spring tab at a top end of the spring. A bottom portion of the spring is screwed into the spring receiving portion of the housing. A portion of the plunger slides within the housing over a limited range of movement between a first and second end positions. The plunger pushes the spring tab to extend the spring so as to create multiple openings between turns (windings) of the spring. Unwanted hairs enter the multiple openings. The unwanted hairs are captured by the multiple openings. Then, the plunger is released. The spring retracts and grabs the unwanted hairs. Then, move the spring with sufficient friction to pull out the unwanted hairs.

The adaptable system includes a pair of lift assemblies, each lift assembly having a first rail member and a second rail member that are slideably engaged on a first end, having a riser on each second end. At each riser location there is a flip out guide that provides a visible pointer to facilitate alignment with the furniture leg without having to bend over or lift the furniture. For increased stability an optional cross member can be fixated between the first and second rail members.

The cover couples the other layers together to form the layered cushion and prevents the layers from deteriorating. The cover is removable to permit cleaning each of the layers independently.

Abstract: A beach towel with reinforced slits and a storage pouch which stores anchoring stakes and other beach accessories is disclosed. The anchoring stakes have a generally round or square tapered elongated body with multiple projections extending transverse to and outwardly from the elongated body which pass through the slits into sand to securely hold the towel from being displaced. When the stakes are removed from the pouch, the pouch can then be used to store cellphones and other personal effects usually brought to the beach. The pouch is designed to be removably attached to the underside of the beach towel for safekeeping of personal effects. Optionally, solar powered charging apparatus for charging cellphones and other electronic devices is stowed in the pouch. Additionally, a method for deploying the beach towel on the sand and an anchorable beach towel kit is disclosed.
