Abstract: A pillow is provided that includes a u-shaped section having opposing ends. Each of the ends has an extension section extending outward there from. One or more of the extension sections has an opening therein that provides access to a pocket located within the extension section. The pockets preferably contain blanket halves therein removably attachable to each other, which may be removed from the pockets and coupled together to form a larger blanket.

Abstract: The present invention teaches a bedside table with a disposable hygienic tray which has thereon multiple layers of film. Each layer of film in turn has adhesive, or anti-bacterial compounds, or bacterial detection compounds, or combinations thereof. In use, for example in a hospital, health care setting, home care setting or for home or many other contexts of use, each layer is removed in sequence, exposing a new layer underneath. After a suitable period of usage, the new layer is in turn removed to expose yet another later. When the final layer is removed the disposable tray is removed from the bedside table and replaced with a fresh tray. In embodiments, the core bedside table unit may sit on the floor, mount to a wall rail, or may have a projection dimensioned and configured to pass between the bottom of a mattress and the top of a box spring.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention comprise a container that is stably rotatable. In embodiments, a container may rotate about a central axis, wherein the container comprises at least one feature at the central axis that facilitate rotation and at least one other lateral feature that provides stability to the container to reduce the occurrence of tipping or spilling while the container is moving.

Abstract: A lid for a glass and method of use is disclosed. The lid comprises a circular body having a rim configured to engage the top edge of a glass, a circular wall extending upward from the rim, and a top surface. The top surface is substantially perpendicular to the circular wall. The top surface comprises one or more circular projections extending away from the top surface, one or more circular cavities, one or more vent holes configured to permit air flow through the top surface, and an outer lip being disposed along the outer perimeter of the top surface and extending above the top surface. The one or more circular cavities are defined by cylindrical cavity walls extending below the top surface. The lid further comprises one or more tiers and may further comprise a message on the surface of the lid and/or on the circular tier wall.

In addition, the upper body further includes a notched indent at an outboard side thereof forming a shelf for facilitated fingertip grasping and manipulation of the assembled glass. In one form, the upper body and lower base of the wine glass are provided as separate modules adapted for assembly to form the wine glass, and disassembly for respective compact stacking. In another form, the wine glass has a one-piece construction adapted for compact stacking by nested reception of the upwardly narrowed flume partially into the underside of the lower base of an overlying glass in the stack.

Each deformed region is formed only by heating the plastic tube enabling the straws packaged in a parallel, nested arrangement.

The contact surface is positioned to contact the upper side of a foot on stemware. A stem receiver slot is defined in the stabilizer body allowing passage of the stem. The stem protrudes upwardly through the slot when the apparatus is installed on the stemware. A concave chamber is defined by the lower side of the stabilizer body shaped to at least partially receive the foot. The stabilizer body applies a downward force against the foot and includes a sufficiently heavy material to prevent the stemware from tipping over under some conditions.

Abstract: The instant disclosure may provide a coaster that can be used with articles including fluid containers to mitigate and/or preclude undesired transmission of liquids by collecting condensation and dripped fluids and directing them to a contained reservoir within the coaster. An upper flange of the coaster may act as a unidirectional valve, directing fluid into the reservoir and preventing the escape of stored fluid even while the cup on which the coaster is mounted is tilted, as when tilted for drinking purposes. The coaster may be installed and removed with one hand, may move with the cup, and may provide improved cup-on-surface stability.

Abstract: A system having a beverage coaster with a receiving coil that can be magnetically coupled or decoupled from a driving coil in a counter, table, bar, and the like. The coaster may be magnetically coupled to the table by moving the coaster into an area where the driving coil generates a magnetic field of sufficient strength. The coaster also includes a switch that activated or deactivated based on its proximity to a magnet in the table. The coaster has a metallic plate on which may be positioned a beverage container. The plate is thermally and mechanically coupled to a Peltier cell that either cools or heats the plate, depending on the state of the switch.

Bowls or other useful items may be placed or connected with a carrier of the serving element. At least one arm extends from the second portion of the centerpiece to the carrier(s) and allows for rotation of the bowl generally horizontally over the table through the connection with the arm to the second portion. A user may manually push or pull on any portion of the serving element to rotate the bowl to a desired position relative to the table. The serving carousel may be provided with one or more serving elements and bowls, and the carousel improves access to these bowls while also lifting those elements off a tabletop surface to allow for more space efficiency in outdoor patio furniture using the serving carousel.

Moreover, the temperature sensor is thermally coupled with the cooking chamber to measure temperature in one or more regions thereof. The cooking control module is arranged to adjust temperature of the cooking chamber through the cooling module and the heating module. Moreover, the flexible vessel includes an opening, and is sized and dimensioned to fit within the cooking chamber. The flexible vessel is constructed from a material impervious to liquids.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to an apparatus and method for cooking, transporting and storing food, particularly using microwave ovens. The apparatus comprises a lower plate having a plurality of stands protruding above the surface of the plate and a grate sized to rest on the stands. The stands are of sufficient height such that when the grate is resting on the stands there is adequate space between the lower plate and grate for a plate of food to fit therebetween. A cover rests on the lower plate and is large enough to enclose the lower plate, grate and a plate of food resting on top of the grate. A vent unit is installed in the cover and located adjacent to a vent opening in the cover. The vent unit includes a closable vent door allowing the size of the vent opening to be adjustable between full open and full closed positions. This allows the user to control the amount of venting during heating.

A beverage brewer in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure comprises a sensor, a pump, a heating tank, and a controller. Abstract: The present inventive concept consists of a logic controlled submersion brewing device that operates reliably with minimal user interaction. The brewer employs a submersion brewing technique to ensure a uniform extraction of beverage from solid extraction media. The device may be programmable to start on a timer. Parameters of the brew program may be customizable including serving size and extraction settings. The device will use vapor pressure to forcibly move beverage liquid across a sieve thereby separating the liquid from spent extraction media. Reliability and repeatability of the separation procedure is enhanced using a novel method of pressure control.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for saving, protecting and portioning toilet paper, said device being designed to portion the quantity of toilet paper supplied to the user by adjusting the predetermined quantity or length of paper dispensed, and the programmed time between one dispensation and another. In addition, the features of the device prevent all or a portion of the paper from being stolen, and the front screen of the device permits the user to know when they may access a new dispensation of paper by operating an actuating means. In this way, the user does not have access to all the paper at once, so they cannot steal or waste same, reducing the cost of operating and maintaining toilet areas, and improving the appearance of the toilet service.

Abstract: A toilet paper holding device for efficiently storing toilet paper in an organized manner. The toilet paper holding device includes a baseplate that can be mounted to a wall or other support surface via one or more fasteners, such as screws. The baseplate includes one or more telescopic arms extending therefrom. The telescopic arms can be extended or retracted in length so as to hold a desired number of toilet paper rolls thereon. In embodiments having several arms, the arms are substantially parallel to one another and are separated by a space. The telescopic arms can be removably secured to the baseplate via a threaded connection. In this way, the toilet paper holding device allows a user to store a number of toilet paper rolls in an organized manner.
