Each orifice has an opening area to provide a known dilution ratio at a known flow rate therethrough. Each proportioner is connected to a supply of motive fluid. The concentrate dispensing device includes a plurality of check valves that close off the system when one of the water supplies is turned on. The plurality of check valves are also configured to allow the chemical concentrate to drain out of the multi-chemical dispensing device using gravity.

    Abstract: A static mixer is described in which rows of mixing plates are used in a combination with nozzles that are located with respect to the mixing plates in a manner that is designed to produce a high level of mixing without significantly impeding the flow of flue gas passing through the rows of mixer plates. In various embodiments, the static mixer includes rows of tilted plates, and the injection lance nozzles are positioned to align with row boundaries corresponding to the boundaries between consecutive rows of mixing plates. In some embodiments, there are N rows of mixing plates and N-1 rows of nozzles. In some embodiments the nozzles are positioned to coincide with the boundaries between rows. The mixer assembly including injection nozzles and/or lances can be implemented in a relatively compact manner allowing for it to be placed in a shorter length of flue than many other mixer assemblies.

    Abstract: A template-free reverse micelle (RM) based method is used to synthesize pyrochlore nanostructures having photocatalytic activity. In one embodiment, the method includes separately mixing together a first acid stabilized aqueous solution including pyrochlore precursor A and a second acid stabilized aqueous solution including pyrochlore precursor B with an organic solution including a surfactant to form an oil-in-water emulsion. Next, equimolar solutions of the first and second acid stabilized oil-in-water emulsions are mixed together. Then, the mixture of the first and second acid stabilized oil-in-water emulsion is treated with a base to produce a precipitate including pyrochlore precursors A and B. After which, the precipitate is dried to remove volatiles. The precipitate is then calcined in the presence of oxygen to form a pyrochlore nanostructure, such as a bismuth titanate (Bi2Ti2O7) pyrochlore nanorod. The method of synthesizing the pyrochlore nanorod is template-free.

The disclosure further relates to a method for assembling a roller for a roller grinder, the roller including a shaft and a grinding shell in the form of a tubular sleeve and having an inner face to be retained around the shaft.

A gradient magnetic field is applied to the liquid in a separation tank provided with a magnetic filter and the liquid is stirred. The first particles float in the liquid by a magneto-Archimedes effect. A horizontal magnetic force acts on the first particles by the gradient magnetic field, so that the first particles travel to a region lateral to or outward from the magnetic filter and are gathered in the region. The magnetic filter is excited by the gradient magnetic field to catch the second particles.
