Abstract: An all-inclusive system for organizing, storing, transporting, and using interchangeable cosmetics and cosmetics tools, comprising a carrying case, at least one replaceable cosmetic disposed in the carrying case, at least one cosmetic tool disposed in the carrying case, and instructions on how to apply the various cosmetics using the various cosmetics tools, wherein the cosmetics and tools are selected for the beautification of a particular user's type and color of skin, eyes, and hair, and wherein the carrying case, the at least one replaceable cosmetic, and the at least one cosmetic tool define cooperating components, and wherein at least one of the cooperating components includes either a permanent magnet or a ferromagnetic material cooperative with a permanent magnet.

Abstract: A device and method for applying makeup to a user's face. To apply makeup, the user obtains a makeup application device. The makeup application device has a handle with two tip connectors connected to each end. Flexible, nonporous applicator tips are connected to each of the two tip connectors. The user then places makeup onto one of the applicator tips and then applies the makeup to her face. In a preferred embodiment the applicator tips are fabricated from hypoallergenic silicone and are used to apply lipstick and eyeliner primarily.

Abstract: A method is provided for preparing a hair dye color mixture. The method includes: providing a control system having at least a memory, input controls, and a display; storing in the memory at least one formula, the formula including one or more colorants and/or dye blending materials, and wherein each colorant and/or blending material is separately assigned to an initial product brand; receiving input from the input controls to change a colorant and/or blending material from the initial product brand to one or more subsequent product brands, and wherein the control system recalculates components of the formula using the one or more subsequent product brands in response to receiving input from the input controls; and matching the color of the hair dye color mixture made from colorants and/or dye blending materials of the initial product brand using colorants and/or dye blending materials of the one or more subsequent product brands, in response to the input.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an exoskeleton system to be worn by a user. The system includes a load carriage arrangement configured to carry an applied load. The load carriage arrangement includes a frame, for example a frame for a backpack, and at least one non-rigid member. The at least one-non rigid member is arranged to transfer at least a first part of the applied load carried by the load carriage arrangement to the ground bypassing the user's musculoskeletal system. The system may further include a load sharing arrangement configured to transfer a second part of the applied load to the user's musculoskeletal system.

Abstract: The systems and processes described herein correspond to a device that is to be detachably coupled to a hydration system, such as a backpack-based hydration system. The device may receive fluid from a reservoir included within the hydration system via a reservoir hose coupled to the reservoir. The device may include a pump and one or more valves that control the extent to which the fluid flows in and out of the interior of the pump. The fluid may exit a mouthpiece of the device based at least partly in response to a user applying pressure to the exterior surface of the pump, such as by the user squeezing or otherwise compressing the pump. The user may consume or otherwise use the fluid without having to apply suction to the mouthpiece of the device.

Abstract: The present invention provides a multipurpose travel device that may provide multiple functionalities and reduce the amount of baggage and items that the user takes with her on a trip or excursion. The present invention provides a multipurpose device that can be configured to serve as a blanket, a garment, a sleeping sack, and a travel bag. The device may include two or more layers of material, where one of the layers of material may be waterproof and one or more other layers may provide cushion and/or warmth.

Abstract: An auxiliary member for a neck-hanging article is provided. The neck-hanging article has a strap body. The auxiliary member includes a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to a contact part of the strap body. The second end is detachably coupled to an object loaded by a user, so that a stress exerted by the strap body is diverted from a neck of the user to the loaded object.

Abstract: This invention is intended to address the American obesity crisis by combing three of China's treasured art forms, calligraphy, brush painting and tai chi, into an easy to use exercise implement. The sword brush utilizes the whole body moving as one to stimulate healing energy, or Qi. This energy in turn spurs creativity so that beautiful works of art can be generated. The Tai Chi Sword Brush in the invention can serve simultaneous purposes of practicing the ancient martial art of Tai Chi, cultivating Qi, exercising the body, mind, and spirit, as well as creative expression through calligraphy and painting. The present invention discloses a sword brush in the size and shape of a Tai Chi sword, including a hand grip blade. The sword brush can be used as a non-lethal weapon in martial arts practice or as a brush to apply ink or paint to paper in an artistic medium.

Abstract: A combination of a hairbrush having a brush head with a concave central portion and captive ends, along with a thermal coating that includes a desired amount of at least one of aluminum, silver, and/or diamond dust in the coating, results in a hairbrush that can be raised to approximately 200° F. in a short timeframe. A conventional hairbrush without either the coating or the captive ends was unable to achieve the desired temperature.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a folding table. The folding table includes a first table top and a second table top that can move between a folding position and an unfolding position, as well as a first and second table leg component for supporting the second table top, wherein two sets of mutually hinged four-link mechanisms are formed by the first and second table leg component in virtue of table beams, table legs and inclined rods. The two sets of four-link mechanisms realize interference self-locking in the unfolding process. Two triangles are formed for supporting a table top stably, and the stress is uniform. The table top can be folded face to face in two parts, so that the table top after being folded is effectively protected, and scratches on the table top during the production, transportation and using processes are reduced.

Abstract: A drawer guide system for a drawer. The drawer guide system includes a drawer guide and a case runner having an outwardly extending flange disposed within an elongate recess of the drawer guide. The drawer guide system further includes a center-mounted bracket to be secured to a rear end of a drawer and a center-mounted release mechanism to be secured to a front end of the drawer that is aligned with the rear end. Upon insertion of the case runner and drawer guide into a recess of the bracket, a tab of the release mechanism engages a window of a side wall of the drawer guide and a locking tang of the drawer guide engages an aperture of the bracket to lock the drawer guide to the drawer.

In the first configuration, the chair's back is generally perpendicular to the runners' longitudinal direction, the leg ends are positioned in first positions relative to the runners' end-to-end midpoint, and the rocking motion moves a user forward and backward in a traditional, first rocking motion.

Thus, once the factory manufactured and packed article has been opened, the folding accessory can be formed as a container simply by folding its various facets along the respective lines, and inserting strengthening tabs into pre-prepared cuts.

Abstract: A cord with an outer fabric covering over a sheath and draw string is used to secure a flexible sheet to a solid object, such as a mattress, table, pool, or ironing board. In some embodiments, the cord is a string lacking a sheath and draw string. The cord has a series of clips attached there-to by a second cord or by direct attachment. The clips are in turn removably attachable to edges of a sheet. One then tightens the draw string, reducing the length of the cord, and continues to do so until the sheet is pulled to a bottom side of an object. In this manner, the sheet ends are beneath the mattress and tightened thereto by the cord. The cord further snaps to itself, in embodiments of the disclosed technology, to form a closed loop around the bed.

Abstract: A data processing system is configured to sense a pressure readings of an air-mattress. If the pressure readings are below a target pressure value representing a desired pressure for the air-mattress, the data processing system can transmit, to an air-pump, first instructions to increase the air pressure of the air mattress and determine a replacement value representing the amount of air pumped into the air mattress by the air-pump. The data processing system can compare the replacement value to a slow-leak threshold and to a catastrophic-leak threshold. The data processing system can, responsive to a determination that the replacement value is greater than the slow-leak value and less than the catastrophic-leak value, transmit, to the air-pump, second instructions to increase the air pressure of the air mattress to replace air in the air mattress lost to a slow leak so as to maintain the desired pressure for the air-mattress.

The annular spacer frame is coupled to the first and second engagement portions of the annular display frame by interaction between a first and second locking member of the annular spacer frame and the first and second engagement portions of the annular display frame. The first and second locking members extend into the first and second engagement portions and apply a compression force to retain a flat article between the transparent front panel and the rear panel.

Abstract: An apparatus for hanging an article from a door. In one aspect, the apparatus can include a mounting system that can be used to hang a mirror, piece of art, or other article from a door without the need for a screw driver or any other tools. The mounting system may include one or more elongate members that are hung from a top edge of the door and that include mounting elements that mount to separate mounting elements that are secured to the article. The mounting may be achieved via one or more of relative rotation of the elongate members and the article and relative horizontal translation of the elongate members and the article. The inventive apparatus may permit multiple hanging heights for individualized optimization.

Abstract: Implementations of a reconfigurable pillow cover are provided. In some implementations, the pillow cover comprises six pieces of material configured to achieve at least eight different design configurations of the pillow cover. In some implementations, the pillow cover includes a functional zipper to achieve additional design looks for the pillow cover. In some implementations, the zipper is functional when the material attached to the zipper is exposed on a first side and when the material attached to the zipper is reversed thereby exposing another side of the material. In some implementation, the pillow cover comprises two zippered openings wherein a pillow may be inserted into one of the openings and the pillow cover configurations may be changes while the pillow is inserted in the pillow opening.

Abstract: A hanger system including at least an upper assembly affixed to a vertically suspending location and which, in combination with a lower assembly, supports and tensions a garment therebetween to assist in either or both of de-wrinkling or steam assisted cleaning of the garment. The upper assembly includes vertically respositionable upper and lower support surface (e.g. door jamb) engaging portions. A stem extends downwardly from the upper assembly and is linearly repositionable in order to adjust a height of a garment. The stem can be integrated into a triangular shaped support member having clips defined upon a lower width extending member of a triangular frame supported by the stem. The lower assembly includes an inverted triangular design with additional clips for securing lower edge extending locations of the garment and which is also weighted to facilitate the steam cleaning and de-wrinkling process.
