Abstract: An aerosol delivery system is provided, comprising a control body portion including a first elongate tubular member having a power source disposed therein. A cartridge body portion includes a second tubular member having opposed first and second ends. One of the first and second ends is removably engaged with one end of the control body portion. The cartridge body portion further comprises a first aerosol generation arrangement disposed within the second tubular member and configured to operably engage the power source upon engagement between the control body portion and the cartridge body portion. A second aerosol generation arrangement is disposed between the first aerosol generation arrangement and a mouth-engaging end of the aerosol delivery system, the second aerosol generation arrangement being either removably engaged with the cartridge body portion or housed within the second tubular member of the cartridge body portion. An associated method is also provided.

Abstract: An electrically heated smoking system includes a secondary unit capable of receiving a smoking article having an aerosol-forming substrate. The secondary unit includes at least one heating element and an interface for connection to a primary power supply for supplying electrical power to the at least one heating element during a pre-heating mode, to increase the temperature of the aerosol-forming substrate to an operating temperature. The secondary unit further includes a secondary power supply arranged to supply electrical power to the at least one heating element during a smoking mode, to maintain the temperature of the aerosol-forming substrate at substantially the operating temperature. The secondary unit also includes secondary circuitry. The electrically heated smoking system optionally includes a primary unit.

This invention serves to position and maintain the penis of the user in an upright, vertical position, thereby protecting the user's genitals from injury and discomfort, regulating temperature, potentially preventing bladder leakage. The garment is comprised mainly of a waistband and a main undergarment body, as well as a positioning strap which is transversely attached to the front interior face of the undergarment body, providing accommodation and support for the vertical placement of the penis of the user.

Abstract: A bra having a movable chip insertion device includes two bra cups. The bra cups each have an inner side. The inner side of each bra cup is provided with a first inner layer. A first accommodation space is formed between the first inner layer and each bra cup. One side of the first inner layer is formed with a first opening. A plurality of chip sets is selectively inserted into the first accommodation space. The user can selectively take the chip sets out of the bra or insert the chip sets into the bra, which is beneficial for the user to clean the bra, enhancing practical convenience.

The motion-activated venting system may comprise a variety of pleats having one or more folded edges and a ventilation region having a plurality of apertures. In a first state, the one or more folded edges overlie the ventilation region such that the plurality of apertures is covered. In a second state, the one or more folded edges are remote from the ventilation region such that the plurality of apertures is exposed. Further, in an intermediate state, the motion-activated venting system is partially open, thereby exposing a portion of the plurality of apertures.

Each nanofiber has one end connected to the first surface and an opposite end extending away from the first surface. The textured thumb covers include a pair of mirror image cover bodies, each sized to enclose a thumb of a wearer, and an integral textured wrap disposed over each cover body. Each cover body includes a base end defined by an open mouth at which an elastic retaining ring for anchoring the cover body to the base of thumb is disposed. Each textured wrap is an assembly of plurality of interconnected elastic strands of sized to be stretched together over the cover body when the cover body is in place on a thumb. The placement of the elastic strands on the smooth cover body creates a textured surface which is suitable to increase traction on the surface of the thumb cover.

A method of manufacturing the membrane includes providing metallic powder and incorporating it into a liquefied polyurethane. Hair strands of the section of hair are affixed together at a first end by a solidified liquid polymer such that ends of the hair strands are retained within the polymer across a width of the section of hair. The substrate is attached to the polymer on one side (e.g., a rear side) of the section of hair across at least part of a width of the hair section. According to one exemplary embodiment, the substrate is also a solidified polymer. The width of the substrate, as measured along a length of the extension's section of hair, is substantially greater than a width of the polymer, as similarly measured. The wider substrate facilitates reliable attachment of the extension to the user's hair, while the narrower polymer enables the installed extension to remain virtually undetectable.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a helmet for a user's head, comprising a shell configured to at least partially surrounds the user's head, an energy-absorbing layer, and a plurality of collapsible modular elements that are individually removably attached to and detached from the helmet. Collapsible modular elements, as used herein, are elements attached to the helmet that collapse or otherwise crush and permanently deform or to temporarily deform upon receiving an impact force of a particular pre-determined amount. By collapsing, energy from the impact is more effectively absorbed instead of being transferred to the user of the helmet.

Abstract: An eyewear system having a lens and a nasion pad is disclosed. The nasion pad is configured to fit on a user's nasion and at least partially secure the eyewear in position. In one embodiment, the nasion pad has a saddle shape to prevent movement or rotation of the eyewear with respect to the user's face. A nose contact is coupled to the nasion pad. The nose contact can have a channel adapted to receive a leg extending from the lens. The lens is coupled to a retractor which provides a force to pull the lens toward the user's face. The eyewear system can be coupled to a helmet or hard hat. The lens is moveable between a first position on the user's face and a second position on the hard hat. The eyewear can be frameless and the retractor can be coupled to an engagement feature on the lens.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for the treatment of injuries or pain associated with the head or central nervous system. The present embodiment utilizes a head covering that is activated to produce an endothermic reaction to draw heat from, or apply cold to, the head and central nervous system. Layers are used to accomplish different applications and colors are used to associate with selected sport teams colors or camouflaged as may be required in a battlefield environment.

Abstract: The specification and drawings present modifications of a footwear (leg wear) and corresponding application methods for using an outer or inner element/compartment attached to the footwear for carrying/holding and draining wet items such as an umbrella. According to an embodiment, a modified footwear may comprise a regular footwear (such as a rain boot) having a foot portion and an upper portion at least partially covering a leg, and an outer/inner element attached at least to the upper portion of the regular footwear and used for holding and draining one or more items (such as folded umbrella) without wetting the leg and inside of the regular footwear (i.e., without introduction of moisture inside of the footwear).

Abstract: The invention described herein pertains to athletic footwear and in particular to a novel method of designing position-specific athletic footwear. The present invention includes a method of designing athletic footwear comprising collecting data while a set of athletic moves are executed wherein the set of athletic moves are characteristic of a player position for a sport. Based upon the collected data, designing athletic footwear to maximize player position performance.

Abstract: A modified shoe that allows the forefoot to extend, creating an everted forefoot in relation to an inverted heel. This action of the foot creates a higher and contracted medial arch. The force of the first metatarsophalangeal joint and first phalange pushing against the ground tilts the rest of the foot at a slight angle to the lateral side, creating supination. The modified shoe also incorporates a unique process of pre-stretching forefoot flex grooves that will allow for a more efficient hinge at the metatarsophalangeal joints. This allows for the several biomechanical changes to a person's gait pattern. This shoe will allow for people to walk with a more natural gait pattern, and not the gait pattern that many people have adopted due to restrictive footwear. This shoe will be ideal for people with forefoot varus, and will have benefits for people with a neutral foot as well.

Wherein the center part of the elastic rope belt along its length keep the same hollow shape, and at the periphery of the rope, it is provided with protruded knot parts of plural middle segment. At the plural middle segment, the diameter of the protruded knot can be changed with the changing of the axial tension. Once the axial tension is relived, the diameter and the shape will return to the origin. Thereby, it is convenient to make position limited buckling and loosening to the object hole.

Abstract: An article of footwear including a 360° lacing system configured to secure the footwear to a wearer's foot. The lacing system includes an elongated lace that extends rearward adjacent an ankle collar, around a heel of the footwear, and forward again. The lacing system includes one or more fairleads that project outwardly from the ankle collar. The fairleads define fairlead holes through which the lace is extends. The lace is slidable relative to the holes, and thus the fairleads, and can be removed from and replaced relative to the fairleads with minimal effort. A related method of utilizing the article of footwear is also provided.

The guide device includes at least one flexible strip appropriately shaped so as to form at least one cavity capable of accommodating and guiding one or more portions of the shoelace.

Abstract: A wiping device may be a friable layer or an absorbent pad made of a material that can absorb and retain a fluid composition and can be attached or is attached to an item of clothing, such as a sock, shoe, compression sleeve, etc. The device is impregnated with an adhesive-type tacky substance that is released when a shoe sole is wiped against it to clean the shoe sole and allow surface dust and debris to be removed from the shoe sole. The deposited substance also forms a film or coating that remains adhered to the surface of the shoe sole to improve traction by imparting tackiness to the shoe sole.

Abstract: This invention provides a safety spur which provides the rider a warning of a potentially dangerous foot position while riding a horse. The spur has a tilt sensor, a radio transmitter, and a radio receiver. Optionally, a 3 axis gyroscope may be used in place of a tilt sensor.

Abstract: An adaptable buckle system that can be secured to a loop in a strap or cable to replace a broken buckle or add a buckle. The present invention includes two component members, a male connector and a female connector, which removably engage to form a fastening buckle. Both components have an interlocking side-release mechanism at the end opposing the connector. The interlocking side-release mechanism comprises a receiver on one side of the component member configured to receive a prong extending from the free end of a flexible arm pivotally affixed to the other side of the component member. The flexible arm may be fed through a loop in a strap or cable. Ridges that line the inner surface of the prong and inner wall of the receiver cause a cross-biting action that secures the prong in place. The prong is released when the arm is twisted thereby rotating the prong.

Abstract: A buckle for adjusting a length of a strap includes a first body and a locking unit. The first body has a first body unit having a first main body surrounding a containment space, a first through hole and a second through hole disposed separately on the first main body, and a first rod disposed in the containment space. The locking unit has a columnar shape and disposed in the containment space, the locking unit further having two flat surfaces, a side surface connected between an edge of each flat surface, and a supporting aperture accepting the first rod. The buckle assembly includes a receiver member and a latch member configured for coupling to a respective one of the straps. The receiver member defines a slot and provides a release arm. The latch member includes a latch tab pivotally connected to a base. In a latched state in which the latch member is disposed within the slot and a latch face is engaged with a capture surface. The release arm disposed over a portion of the latch tab. The latch face can be disengaged from the capture surface in response to an actuation force applied to the release arm. In some embodiments, the receiver member and the latch member incorporate various, complimentary guide surfaces that promote easy insertion of the latch member into the receiver member.

The thinned portion of the first material may be folded onto itself, and the thinned portion of the second material may be folded onto itself.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide an interchangeable wearable technology module and associated jewelry or other finewear, clothing, accessories, or other wearables. This interchangeable “smart” module can be integrated into multiple styles and pieces of jewelry across an entire product line. The module can be inserted into pendants, bracelets and rings and be interchanged between them by the consumer. The consumer may purchase an interchangeable module together with a particular piece of jewelry or other wearable article. In some embodiments, the containment device may include a cinch cord that can be used to change from the open mat configuration into the closed bag configuration. In such embodiments, the cinch cord may include a cord lock that may be adjustably deployed to clamp the cinch cord and the lip in a position that maintains the convertible luggage device in a closed bag configuration.

Abstract: A contact lens case structure includes: a main body, one end thereof being open and another end thereof being closed to form an accommodation space, at least one elastic element being configured inside the main body, and one end of the elastic element being configured with a carrier configured with holes; and a cover, in connection with the open end of the main body to close the accommodation space, and at least one positioning portion being configured inside the cover. The positioning portions press the carrier downward to compress the elastic elements, thereby accepting a contact lens in the accommodation space. When the cover is separated from the case, an elastic restoring force of the elastic element pushes the carrier upward to move the contact lens to the top end of the main body in such a way to be convenient for a user to take it out.

The system has a base with a pressure-release vent positioned within a flex region and a seal to disengagably seal the pressure-release vent. The seal has a gas vent path that extends from the pressure-release vent. The contained volume of gas passes through the gas vent path to apply force against the flex region and disengage the seal from the pressure-release vent, allowing the gas to exit through the pressure-release vent.

At least the first member has an aperture in the surface thereof that is dimensioned to snugly accommodate the passage of the handle member therethrough. In use, the first member of the device is placed over the luggage with the handle passed through the aperture and extended upwardly.
