Abstract: The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, a green technology for crosslinking protein molecules for various uses, where the protein molecules can be contained in protein fibers such as, but not limited to, human hair, animal fibers, and mixtures thereof. In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a crosslinking agent comprising an oxidized sugar having at least two aldehyde groups. In another aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method of crosslinking protein fibers. This method involves providing the aforementioned crosslinking agent and infiltrating a plurality of non-crosslinked protein fibers with the crosslinking agent under conditions effective to cause protein molecules contained in the non-crosslinked protein fibers to become crosslinked, thereby yielding a population of crosslinked protein fibers.

Abstract: Disclosed is a large-capacity essential oil nozzle where an external wall of the nozzle includes a thread base that receives the threaded mouth of a large-capacity bottle. A liquid permeable metal block connected to a metal tube extends into the bottle via a central hole in a stopper. A seal is made with a shoulder at the bottom of the threads within the thread base. Preferably, the stopper has a T-shape and the metal tube has a flange, a seal being made via an edge of the T-shaped stopper, the flange, and a sealing gasket. The nozzle may include a universal mount formed from a spring-loaded mechanism to allow the nozzle to be connected to electric blow dryers of different size. The large-capacity essential oil nozzle frees the glass bottle from being restricted by the surrounding structure, increasing the allowable volume of the glass bottle and eliminating the need for frequent changes.

Abstract: A drawing apparatus is provided. In the apparatus plural drawing tools for applying ink on an object are held by plural drawing tool holding units respectively. A drawing unit takes one of the plural drawing tools from the plural drawing tool holding units to draw an image on the object. An imaging unit images an identification image, which includes first information representing colors of inks to be applied respectively by the plural drawing tools and second information representing an arrangement of the plural drawing tools held in the plural drawing tool holding units. A controlling unit controls the drawing unit to draw a design image having at least one color on the object, based on the first and second information included in the identification image and the color of the design image.

Abstract: A nail clipper includes a clipper body with a pair of jaws, an operating lever configured to move the jaws to cut nails, a hook member mounted to the clipper body, the hook member including a vertical groove portion extending vertically downwardly from an upper surface of the hook member, and first and second lateral groove portions extending in lateral direction from the vertical groove. The fiber sheet when attached to the frame with a static state has a visible light transmittance equal to or smaller than 1.8%, and when the fiber sheet is stretched from the static state to have an area as much as 1.05 times larger than that of the static state, the visible light transmittance of the fiber sheet become equal to or greater than 2.0%.

Abstract: Provided is a cream-type cosmetic container having a vacuum pump which is configured such that a pumping member performs a pumping operation to discharge contents when a handle part is rotated by a predetermined section. Thus, contents having high viscosity can be discharged even with a small force. Furthermore, the container is configured such that a discharged amount of contents is adjusted according to a rotation angle of the handle part. Therefore, a user can use the container while adjusting discharged amount to a desired amount.

Abstract: A refillable lipstick is provided. In one implementation, a high-quality permanent lipstick dispenser incorporates a screw-type catch or a magnetic catch that enables replacement of the lipstick within the dispenser. Lipstick refills may be installed and removed from the dispenser with an extractor. In an implementation, the dispenser includes a sleeve that is arranged to extend and retract within the dispenser, to provide access to the lipstick for removal and/or installation.

The methodology allows for an accurate 3D representation to be quickly and efficiently generated of an identified portion of the head, not the entire head, from two or more 2D images, such as still images. According to the methodology of the present disclosure a 3D dome representation of the top portion of the head of a subject may be created based on the data extracted from one or more 2D images and/or a certain determined height dimension.

The frame supports at least one flexible panel from a top panel connection so the panel hangs and rotates freely from the connection on the frame. The panel is formed from a flexible material which may include wood, metal, metal alloy or plastic. Panel-to-frame assembly is done by hand. The frame includes a stop member connected to the frame that impedes free rotation of the flexible panel. Since the panel covers most all of the load bearing seatback area, fewer heavyweight metal supportive elements are necessary. The new seatback is longer lasting, lighter in weight and deployable as a result.

A safety mechanism is disposed in an inner cavity defined at least partially by the coupling shell and the coupling portion, and can interact with the latch for forcing the carrying handle to stop in an intermediate safety position during adjustment of the carrying handle from the carry position toward the recline position.
