Abstract: Particle Thompson Sampling for online matrix factorization recommendation is described. In one or more implementations, a recommendation system provides a recommendation of an item to a user using Thompson Sampling. The recommendation system then receives a rating of the item from the user. Unlike conventional solutions which only update the user latent features, the recommendation system updates both user latent features and item latent features in a matrix factorization model based on the rating of the item. The updating is performed in real time which enables the recommendation system to quickly adapt to the user ratings to provide new recommendations. Abstract: A system and method for displaying seat inventory at a venue and facilitating planning of ticket prices for events at the venue is presented. Methods to predict total revenue for an event are described. Also presented are systems and methods for determining at what price and when to release so-called ‘flex’ price tickets during an on-sale using the sales velocity and sales/inquiry ratios. Determining demand of seats from secondary markets is also described with methods to use the demand for either re-pricing the seats in the primary market or presenting ‘best value’ seats to a prospective purchaser.

Abstract: An electronic ticket exchange system offers tickets using a market-making system. Patrons submit bids, for seats of different quality, and an initial price is established for each quality of seat. A trading system provides for a secondary market in which patrons who have purchased tickets for an event can readily sell them to other patrons. All of the rights associated with a ticket, such as entry into the venue, parking privileges, designated seating, etc., are stored in a electronic form. An electronic venue entry control system verifies that a person owns an electronic ticket property right, and authorizes the privileges associated with the ticket. A seating system is employed to determine an optimal seating configuration based upon patron-specific preferences, after the initial sale of tickets and prior to entry into the venue. The specific assigned seats are indicated to the ticket holder at the time of entry.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and computer programs that may be utilized to identify a sequence corresponding to an execution of a Business Processes (BP) using an automaton. In one embodiment, a monitoring agent generates a stream of steps that were performed during interactions with an instance of a software system belonging to a certain organization, and a simulation module simulates a running of an automaton on an input comprising a sequence of steps. Optionally, parameters that define a behavior of the automaton are generated based on sequences of steps corresponding to executions of the BP associated with other organizations. Responsive to running the automaton on the stream, the automaton arrives at an accepting state at least once following a certain subsequence of steps that corresponds to a nonconsecutive execution of the BP, and the simulation module generates an indication indicative of a detection of an execution of the BP.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer programs for generating a model for linking between steps performed when executing a Business Process (BP). In one embodiment, a link example collector receives sequences of steps, each corresponding to an execution of the BP, and identifies pairs of nonconsecutively performed steps in the sequences. A sample generator module generates samples, each corresponding to a pair, which comprises one or more feature values describing properties of a link from a first step to a second step performed after the first step. A linkage model generator module generates the model based on training samples comprising: (i) positive samples generated by the sample generator module based on pairs, identified by the link example collector module, of first and second steps which were nonconsecutively performed, and (ii) negative samples generated by the sample generator module based on pairs of steps that are not nonconsecutively performed steps from the sequences.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and computer programs that may be utilized to identify executions of Business Processes (BPs) utilizing crowd-based patterns of the BPs. In one embodiment, each pattern of a BP is generated based on sequences corresponding to executions of the BP, which are associated with first and second organizations, respectively. A sequence parser module is configured to receive one or more streams of steps performed during interactions with an instance of a software system, which belongs to another organization, and to select, from among the one or more streams, candidate sequences of steps. A distance calculator module calculates distances between the candidate sequences and the patterns based on alignments of the candidate sequences and the patterns. An assignment module utilizes the distances to assign at least some of the candidate sequences with identifiers of the BPs.

The optimal operating configuration may be leveraged to calculate a valuation metric for power generated by the power generating units. Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and monitoring a supply network are provided. Based on payment transaction data acquired through a payment processing network in relation to a plurality of payment transactions, a server detects supply chains, each comprising a plurality of suppliers downstream to a respective merchant, and determines, for each pair of sequential suppliers in the supply chain, a downstream velocity pattern of a respective connection linking the pair of sequential suppliers. The server also monitors payment transaction data acquired through the payment processing network to detect deviations from the downstream velocity patterns. In response to detecting a deviation, the server automatically generates a notification indicating a potential supply problem with an upstream supplier in the pair associated with the downstream velocity pattern for which the deviation was detected. Such a notification is then transmitted to the respective merchant and/or intermediate suppliers.
