  • Patent number: 9638346
Abstract: This invention discloses a valve including a body, an upper membrane, a lower membrane and a positioning block. The body has an upper channel, a lower channel, an accommodation space and a valve groove. The accommodation space defines an upper opening and a lower opening for respectively communicating with the upper channel and the lower channel. The valve groove is near the intersection of the lower channel and the accommodation space respectively communicating therewith. The upper and the lower membrane block the upper opening of the accommodation space and the lower opening. The positioning block is disposed between the upper membrane and the lower membrane and is able to push the lower membrane into the valve groove and abut against a sidewall of the valve groove. The valve is able to block the flow of water in the valve when the water flow is needed to be cut off.

  • Patent number: 9638355
Abstract: A seal obstructs the migration of particulates and precipitation into a pipe fusion chamber through its pipe stick entry and pipeline exit passages. Sheets of cloth serially overlap the anticipated center axis of a pipe stick/pipeline which will pass through the machine. The outer edge of each sheet is pleated and fixed to a frame contiguous with the perimeter of the passage and the inner edge of each sheet is gathered on an elastic band. When a face of a pipe stick/pipeline pushes the sheets away from the frame, the pleats and bands cooperate to allow the inner edges of the sheets to slide over the face and hug substantially the entire outer circumference of the pipe stick/pipeline.

Abstract: A lighting unit (85) for use by a vulnerable road user such as a cyclist, the lighting unit being intended for use as a front light or a rear light, wherein the lighting unit displays a symbol or word that identifies the category of vulnerable road user. It may incorporate two distinct lights: one which is set to achieve light delivery comparable to current standard white front and red rear bike lights, whilst the other is the symbol or word display. The symbol or word display is designed to increase driver recognition, to improve driver reaction time, and to prime appropriate driving behaviour. For example the lighting unit (95) may be a rear light or a front light for a bicycle (10), arranged to display (80) the word BIKE or a symbol of a cyclist on a bicycle. The lighting unit (95) may also include a light source (103) with an external focusing lens.

A first light emitting diode assembly and a second light emitting diode assembly are each electrically connected to a circuit board. The second edge of the heat sink structure directly contacts an inner surface of the housing, such that the housing is separated into first and second sections by the heat sink structure. Illumination of the first light emitting diode assembly results in a low beam and illumination of both the first light emitting diode assembly and the second light emitting diode assembly results in a high beam.

Abstract: A vehicle lighting device includes a case, a lens, a light guide, a waterproof member, hooks, and catches. The catches are elastically deformed outward to separate from an accommodation portion so that the hooks enter the catches from the side closer to the accommodation portion. Engaging surfaces of the hooks engage with catch surfaces of the catches so that the case and the lens are joined. The joining causes the waterproof member to be compressed. The engaging surfaces and the catch surfaces are inclined by an equal angle relative to an imaginary plane perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the case and the lens such that the catch surfaces are located inward of the engaging surfaces and close to the accommodation portion.
