Abstract: An exercising apparatus, comprising a pair of elastic straps correspondingly having lengths, and a pair of buckles correspondingly mounted on the pair of the elastic straps, where each of the buckles having a frame with a passage for each of the elastic straps and oppositely directed flanges and an appendage connect and inclined to the frame on which a first longitudinal end of each of the elastic straps is attached thus compelling each of the elastic straps to form S shape over and in each of the buckles, consequently longitudinally partitioning each of the elastic straps by sliding each of the buckles along each of the elastic straps to releasably fasten each of the buckles on each of the elastic straps.

A restricting device has a retaining portion, a left restricting portion and a right restricting portion. The two restricting portions are elongated and flexible, such as straps. The left restricting portion is connected to a left end of the retaining portion from a left rear of the exercising space. The right restricting portion is connected to a right end of the retaining portion from a right rear of the exercising space. The restricting device maintains the retaining portion at an appropriate position to make the retaining portion naturally abut against a waist of the user for resisting forward movement of the user toward a front side of the exercising space and allowing the user to sprint or quick run on the platform.

The main body has a base pivotally connected with a supporting board through an eccentric unit, and the base is used to distribute the weight of the user, so the main body can be stably disposed on the ground. The present invention is advantageous because the height of the supporting board is higher than the height of the knee height of an average adult, the user does not have to bend the knees when sitting on it to increase the comfortableness. Also, the supporting board can be dragged back to its original position by the cover when it is not in use, so the user does not have to adjust the supporting board.

Abstract: Portable fitness monitoring methods are disclosed. In an embodiment, a portable fitness monitoring method includes a method for providing audible output to a user during an athletic activity using a portable fitness monitoring device. The method includes the steps of receiving an audio feedback file package that includes a first audio feedback file, updating the audio feedback file package, and processing the updated audio feedback file package to provide audible output to the user through an audio output device during the athletic activity.

Abstract: An extendable rope protecting sheath is an apparatus that extends over an existing climbing rope in order to provide a barrier that protects said climbing rope from fraying and weakening as a result of direct contact with damaging surfaces. The apparatus includes an extendable sheath which folds over the climbing rope and is secured onto itself by an inner fastening strip and an outer fastening strip. The apparatus includes a first breakaway recovery strap which is connected to the extendable sheath and used to attach a breakaway wristband to the extendable sheath. The attachment between the breakaway wristband and the extendable sheath allows the user to adjust the apparatus with minimal interference to the user's range of motion. The apparatus uses a first double-sided fastening strip and a second double-sided fastening strip to secure the apparatus to the climbing rope and link multiple extendable rope protecting sheaths together.

Abstract: A diving fin system is provided. The fin system includes without limitation a collapsible, leg mounted diving fin. The fin system includes a first section mounted to lower leg and a second section and a third section that can collapse up to and around the lower leg. When collapsed, it can have a very low profile such that it looks like a slightly wider version of the calf area of the leg. It can be also be a three-piece deploying fin, wherein the first section is maintained coupled to the lower leg, the second section slides and rotates to couple to the top of a foot and the third section rotates away from the second section to form the fin blade for use in diving, such as scuba diving.

The outer core can comprise a cross-linked closed-cell foam such that the sports ball can be more durable and softer than conventional balls normally used for the same sport.

Abstract: A device for restoring the surface of used lacrosse balls. Lacrosse balls are placed inside a chamber that is lined with an abrasive surface. The device can be placed within a typical clothes dryer machine and during the course of a normal drying cycle the surface of the lacrosse balls are restored to a desired characteristic tactile grip. The exterior of the device is cushioned to dampen impact with the inner surface of the clothes dryer and minimize the generation of noise during use.

Abstract: A golf club head having a thin topline and improved sound is disclosed herein. The golf club head, which preferably is a three-piece iron-type head, comprises a body with truss supports linking a lower body portion of the iron with a top portion. This configuration creates an iron with the sound and feel of a closed cavity back iron and the performance and mass properties of an open cavity back iron. The golf club head also includes a partial face cup comprising a striking face and a lower flange and a dampening element filling at least a portion of a cavity between the body and the face cup. The dampening element comprises a portion that is compressed within the cavity and another portion that is adhered to the rear surface of the striking face.

It incorporates tension physics with applied tension force displacement wherein the torso is supported with two degrees of motion, i.e., hinged front-to-back tilt and left-to-right displacement of the torso. The user's opposite hands and feet are interconnected by cables passing through pulleys located below the torso. As the user performs a simulated swim stroke, force is asserted on the cable ends, moving the entire body to the right or left along a defined lateral displacement path. The user controls the swimming stroke speed, therefore controlling the amount of resistance applied between hands and feet based on the lateral motion torso speed against torso weight pressing down on the central support.

The scalable nature of the wireless geographic broadcast protocol enables multiplayer games to function equally well in both remote areas with no or little network service and in crowded areas containing both game players and other users of mobile communications devices. Wireless geographic broadcast messages distributed among multiplayer game participants can be used to control gameplay features and/or game elements of multiplayer games. Embodiments include simulated artillery battles, simulated throw and catch games, and simulated reconnaissance elements.
