It has been discovered that an adhesive with a polymer content greater than 70 weight percent can be formulated with a blend of (i) a metallocene catalyzed polypropylene polymer that has a density range of about 0.70 to about 0.91 g/cm3 and a melt viscosity less than 50,000 cP at 190° C. and (ii) a Ziegler-Natta catalyzed amorphous polybutene and/or polypropylene copolymer. Such adhesives have high creep resistance making them particularly well suited for disposable personal care garments.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a dicing die bonding film employed in a semiconductor packaging process, and a semiconductor device using the same. The dicing die bonding film is configured such that a ratio X/Y of adhesive power X between the wafer and the adhesive layer of the die bonding portion to tacky power Y between the die bonding portion and the tacky layer of the dicing portion is 0.15 to 1, and the adhesive layer of the die bonding portion has a storage modulus of 100 to 1000 MPa at a normal temperature. The dicing die bonding film according to the present invention reduces burr generation in dicing process, and thereby preparing a semiconductor device having excellent reliability without inferiority caused by bad connection reliability due to the burr covering a bonding pad.

  • Patent number: 9695351
Abstract: A formulation for use as a lost circulation preventive material is a cement-forming aqueous fluid comprising water, a viscoelastic surfactant (VES), a monovalent or multivalent salt, a magnesium powder, a retarder, a weighting material, and a dispersant. The formulation is used in a method of drilling into a subterranean formation that includes introducing into a wellbore passing at least partially through the subterranean formation the cement-forming aqueous fluid, and further increasing the viscosity of the aqueous fluid with the VES, where the monovalent salt is present in an amount effective to pseudo-crosslink the elongated VES micelles to further increase the viscosity of fluid. The formulation further forms a cement by reacting the magnesium powder and the water which reaction is retarded by the retarder. The water may be saline water. When the fluid density is greater than 14 pounds per gallon, a dispersant is required, such as a sulfonated copolymer.
