The present invention relates to a cosmetic treatment and process for treating keratinous materials, in particular for hair-care and hair-styling, where, according to the process, the polycarbodiimide and water soluble polyacid and poly carboxylic acid actives may be applied in a treatment that is a single step emulsion. The composition can include from about 0.2 to about 5.0%, by weight, of the composition of a combined amount of the polycarbodiimide and the polycarboxylic acid in amounts sufficient to impart hydrophobicity to keratinous substrates, including hair fibers, upon application thereto.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition, containing tyndallized lactobacillus dead cells as an active ingredient, for skin moisturizing or wrinkle improvement. The effect of the tyndallized lactobacillus dead cells on skin moisturizing and wrinkle improvement, which are deteriorated by ultraviolet radiation, was checked.
