Abstract: A method to enable a user to record an event on an electronic device and share said recorded event over a social computing based means at a geographically remote location by employing a person located at the geographically remote location is disclosed. The method may be implemented to enable a person to find, contact and communicate with people all over the world either to use their services for making remote recording and/or storing and/or sharing of videos and photos, or render services for the same. In the method, a social computing based means is implemented that enables its users to connect with other users for the aforementioned purpose. Said social computing based means can be accessed and used from a user's communication device using an internet connection.

Abstract: Methods and systems for creating and operating a web-based resource productivity tracking application are disclosed. The resource productivity tracking application enables monitoring of resource productivity efficiency metrics by receiving inputs of productivity efficiency targets. A first set of biometric data which indicates a performance factor for a first user and a second set of biometric data which indicates the performance factor for a second user are detected. Using the first and second sets of biometric data, a set of temporal periods for the first and second users to carry-out the set of shared tasks is determined. The set of temporal periods is selected with respect to carrying-out the set of shared tasks by the first and second users.

A job profile of a prospective job, a normal makespan goal, and a degraded makespan goal may be obtained. The job profile may include a job trace summary. A simulation result of the prospective job may be generated based on a first simulation of the job trace summary on a platform configuration and a second simulation of the job trace summary on a degraded version of the platform configuration. The simulation result may include a predicted normal makespan and a predicated degraded makespan. The platform configuration may then be selected. In some cases the platform configuration may be selected via a purchasing option sent to a tenant.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a dongle device for automatic pairing of payment terminal to mobile computing device. A merchant location may include one or more merchant devices used to provide sales to between the merchant and customers through generating transactions and processing payments. In this regard, the merchant devices may use connectable terminals that provide payment instrument processing. The connectable terminals may utilize a wireless connection with a merchant device and allow a user to provide their payment instrument, such as an EMV payment card, to the terminal to insert their payment information into a transaction. In order to pair the terminal to the merchant device, a dongle device may be added to the terminal to provide connection information to the merchant device for automatic pairing. The dongle device may also remove the connection information on removal or insertion of a new dongle device.

One embodiment of the invention is directed to a method of processing a remote transaction initiated by a mobile device. The method further comprises validating that the transaction processor application is authentic and in response to validating the transaction processor application, providing encrypted payment credentials to the transaction processor application. In the second mode, the secure payment interface obtains the data of the payment member by the payment unit, receive the second operation instruction via the secure payment interface, and activate the payment function based on a comparing result of the authentication information and the data of the payment member. A secure payment method for the aforementioned secure payment device is also provided.
