Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to deriving spatial attributes for imaged objects utilizing three-dimensional (3D) information. A server may obtain 3D survey data about an object from a pre-existing source. The server may then receive image data describing the object from a user device. The server may then utilize range imagery techniques to build a 3D point cloud from imagery in a pixel space. The server may then utilize horizontal positioning to place the 3D point cloud in proximity to the 3D survey data. The server may then fit the 3D survey data to the 3D point cloud. Finally, the server may record measurements and absolute locations of interest from the 3D point cloud and send them to the user device.

Abstract: An athlete measures sprint time by locating a smartphone having a camera and clock start button which is first activated at the finish line. The sprint end time is recorded by a photo stamp time app. This sprint end time activates a video trigger causing the smartphone to send a RF stop event signal to a wrist mounted motion sensor worn by the athlete. A sensor timer is started via the start event by track or self starting. In track starting, the athlete pushes a start button on the sensor to initiate a variable 2-5 second delayed sound READY-SET-GO series of beeps to start the sprint. In self starting, the sensor detects threshold motion parameters of the sprinter's start which activates the sensor's free running clock and saves the start time. The time base on the sensor is used to calculate run time.

Abstract: A gambling integrated game that includes an entertainment system engine that provides an entertainment game to a user, a real world engine that provides gambling games to one or more users, and a game world engine that monitors the entertainment game and provides gambling games when appropriate. The entertainment system engine provides an entertainment game that includes random events. When a random event occurs in the entertainment game, the entertainment system engine resolves the random event and provides the results of the random event to the game world engine. The game world engine receives the results of the random event and determines gambling results based upon the results of the random event.
