Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-purpose makeup applicator that comprises, a pencil body having a first body half and a second body half, a refill cavity formed within an encircled sidewall of the first body half, a helix cavity formed within an encircled sidewall of the second body half where the refill cavity and helix cavity are separated by a cavity partition, a lid hingedly attached to the first half of the body and terminates prior to the cavity partition where the second half of the body originates, a displacement mechanism located is configured in the helix cavity of the second body half. In the open position of the lid, a refill cartridge can be placed in the refill cavity, and through the displacement mechanism the refill cartridge moves operably relative to and from the refill cavity of the body.

Abstract: A cosmetic compact container having a folding lid with a mirror on the folding lid. The compact includes a base and first and section lid sections. One of the two lid sections may include a mirror. An example may enable a user to view the mirror both in the closed and open configuration. Another example may include a particular opening configuration in which the lid is biased to close during a first stage of opening and, after reaching a selected “amount” of opening, the lid is biased to finish opening. Such biasing may be accomplished without the use of a spring.

Abstract: A multiple cosmetic holder and applicator includes a plurality of cosmetic cartridges that receive standard cosmetics therein. The cartridges include an upper magnet disposed within the opening, and a lower annular groove on the cylindrical body. A main body holds the plurality of cosmetic cartridges and includes a base with depressions which include a lower magnet therein and which receive the cosmetic cartridges, locking mechanisms which interface with the annular groove of the cartridges to lock the cartridges within the depressions, and an outer case movable relative to the main body which has a pressable button that unlocks the locking mechanism from the cartridge. A removable cap covers the main body, the cartridges, and the standard cosmetics. A selector tube extends through an aperture in the cap to remove the cartridge when the button is pressed and the locking mechanism is unlocked.

A spring biases the container and pump away from the tip of the shell. The bottom of the container is pushed up relative to the shell to activate the pump, thereby dispensing the product.

Ramped edges on one or both of the collar on a bottle and/or a connecting structure of an applicator are designed to guide a tab into a slot as the applicator and cap are replaced on the cosmetics packaging, which may contain a cosmetic product such as a mascara, lip gloss or various other products.

Abstract: A remover cover is detachably attached to an attraction head equipped at one end of a substantially rod-shaped remover. The attraction head includes a magnetic force generating surface adapted to generate a magnetic force. The cover includes a cover body shaped like a bag and adapted to cover the remover from a tip of the attraction head to at least the magnetic force generating surface, and a holding portion installed by extending from an open end of the cover body. The cover body is configured to allow itself to be turned inside out.

Abstract: A method and a hand-held device for dermaplaning is disclosed that includes a blade with a safety cage forming an assembly removably mounted to a housing. The dermaplaning device is configured to limit the depth that the blade can penetrate the skin which makes the device safe for use by non-professionals. The dermaplaning device is electrically powered to cause the blade to vibrate at a predetermined frequency. Various embodiments of the hand-held dermaplaning device are disclosed for vibrating the blade. In accordance with an important aspect of the invention, the blade includes a safety guard for limiting the amount of penetration of the blade into the facial skin to enable the device to be safely used by non-professionals.

Abstract: A backpack includes a pack body, two shoulder straps extended from the pack body for allowing the wearer to wear the pack body at the wearer's back, and a suspension arrangement which includes a resilient unit provided between the pack body and the shoulder straps for absorbing a bounding force of the pack body. Therefore, the resilient unit allows a relative movement of the pack body with respect to each of the shoulder straps but minimizes the relative movement of the pack body by absorbing the bounding force of the pack body. The resilient unit is also arranged for evenly distributing a loading force of the pack body to each of the shoulder straps, such that the resilient unit absorbs the bounding force of the pack body at different directions so as to balance the uneven loading force at the pack body.

Abstract: A backpack includes a pack body, two length-adjustable shoulder straps extended from the pack body for allowing the wearer to wear the pack body at the wearer's back, and a suspension arrangement which includes a resilient unit provided between the pack body and the shoulder straps for absorbing a bounding force of the pack body. In a preferred embodiment, the personal grooming drape includes a retractable drape assembly that can be pulled over a counter top, sink basin, or the like to catch, maintain, and dispose of loose fallen hair as the person leans over the drape while grooming facial hair, head hair, or other body hair. After use, the drape is retractable and self-cleaning, and may be supplied with a waste bin that is removable from the enclosure for ease of disposing of the cut hair pieces.

A foldable structure includes a section, a brace, and a hinge member attaching to the section to enable the section to move between a folded position and an extended position. The hinge member includes a first bracket and a second bracket that are hingedly joined to each other. The first brace is attached, between the first flange of the first bracket and a surface of a different structure, to the first hinge member.

Abstract: A circuit controls a height-adjustable table. A current load acts on the table plate and is measured by a force-sensitive sensor and serves as control signal of a control according to the invention. Derived from this signal, a collision of the electrically height-adjustable table with fixed objects is recognized. Control signals are also detected, which are inputted by an operator of the table in the form of applications of force onto the table plate. Here the table or respectively the control device is situated in a state of rest until the user of the table exerts a brief force impulse onto the table plate, i.e. presses once onto the table plate. Thereafter, the control changes from a state of rest into an operating state and waits for control inputs. When the user now presses from above onto the table plate, the latter moves electrically downwards.

Abstract: This invention is a fully collapsible file holder, or collator. It is formed from an assembly of supports. When opened, the supports are separated by about an inch, allowing papers, files, and books to be organized between them. When the collator is not in use, it collapses to the thickness of a fraction of an inch. This is facilitated by the invention's novel design, wherein the supports decrease in size from rear to front. When collapsed, they nest inside one another. The full range of movement is enabled by a novel hinge, formed of two struts in a scissors configuration. The collator folds flat to become so small that it is easily transportable in a satchel or even a notebook. This offers great advantage over the very bulky collators in use today.

The side bars, corners, and connecting segments features a mechanism utilizing a male plug and female socket to connect side bars, corners, and connecting segments in an array of stretcher bar configurations. The segments are secured using interlocking pins after side bars or corners female sockets engaged with connecting segment plugs. The cross brace segments features an adjustable mechanism conforming to the stretcher bar configuration. The side bars, corners, connecting, and cross brace segments can be dismantled by removing interlocking mechanism on the segments. The back side of the stretcher bar system features a wooden surface to mount or dismount canvases using staples or other fasteners.

Abstract: This invention is about a novel design of a multi-purpose smart pillow and the manufacturing method of the smart pillow. The present invention consists of three main embodiments including a smart pillow two layers cover with special hidden opening and closure mechanism; an inside arrangement for multilayer fillers with different softness; and a removable external cover sheet for the smart pillow. This smart pillow solved the problem of required multiple softness(s) levels for using same pillow with easy cleaning mechanism.

A key operated mechanical linkage is connected to contact members underlying the protective disc. Springs cause the contact members to pivot outwardly upon removal of the lid from a drinking vessel.
