Abstract: Disclosed herein are self-healing conductive network compositions. The networks can contain one or more conductive polymers and one or more supramolecular complexes. The supramolecular complex can be introduced into conductive polymer matrix, resulting in a network of the two components. In this network, the nanostructured conductive polymer gel constructs a 3D network to promote the transport of electrons and mechanically reinforce the network while the supramolecular complex contributes to self-healing property and also conductivity. The networks disclosed herein are useful for various applications such as self-healing electronics, artificial skins, soft robotics and biomimetic prostheses.

Abstract: A highly porous heat dissipation coating by graphene-rich baking varnish consists of: graphene nanoflakes, at least one dispersants, binders, and carriers. The amount of graphene-rich nanoflakes accounts for 10 to 70 wt % of solid composition of a graphene baking varnish. The at least one dispersant is non-ionic or ionic dispersant. The binder is made of thermoplastic polymers. The carrier is selected from aqueous liquids, organic solvents, or a combination thereof. A post-baking treatment at relative high temperature (100 to 400° C.) is applied for enhancing the adhesion of heat dissipation coating on metal surface. Accordingly, the graphene-rich baking varnish enhances adhesion and improves heat dissipation rate by convection and radiation.

Abstract: A method of increasing the density of a saturated or near saturated salt (initial) brine, such as a monovalent or divalent salt solution, consists of first lowering the true crystallization temperature (TCT) of the saturated or near saturated salt brine to the eutectic point using a glycol and then adding dry salt to the brine of lower TCT to provide a brine of increased density. The TCT may be lowered by the addition of glycol to the saturated or near saturated salt brine. The dry salt is the same salt as the salt of the saturated or near saturated salt brine. The amount of dry salt added to the brine of lower TCT is an amount sufficient to render a saturated or near saturated brine. The density of the resulting brine is higher than the density of the saturated or near saturated salt (initial) brine.
