The buckle includes, a light-emitting device, and a male buckle and a female buckle made of a transparent or translucent material, the light-emitting device being disposed on an intermediate setting portion of the male buckle. The male buckle and the female buckle are both made of a transparent or translucent material, such that light emitted by the light-emitting device can be quickly conducted and diffused to the whole structure.

Abstract: A system and method for a locking mechanism that includes an ability to indicate proper engagement via a signal cable coupled through a harness. The locking mechanism may include electronic components including three magnetic actuators and corresponding electronic switches that signal change of state. Locking tabs and a leading edge of the insert respectively include the three magnetic actuators. The electronic switches, which may be magnetically activated reed switches, signal status change to an external controller and, optionally, an external computer. Further, status signals and power signals may be routed through a steel cable or woven nylon harness that coupled the locking mechanism to a local anchor point. Change of status notification may be important on critical safety worksites where lack of mechanical and electronic connection can be life threatening.

An opening jaw has a penetrating probe for opening convolution of a split ring, while the opposing supporting jaw provides a supporting surface acting as an anvil providing opposing force to the other linear elements probe. The split ring is generally disposed around the spaced apart opposing jaws, permitting the probe to penetrate the convolutions over a deeper range because there is no limitation created by the opposing jaw.

The cranking mechanism includes a second transmission element and a cranking handle. The second transmission element is engaged with the first transmission element, and the second transmission element is connected with the cranking handle via the clutch structure. The invention overturns a conventional method of using an electric umbrella, and provides a manual lifting-and-lowering function under the premise of maintaining a electric lifting-and-lowering function, that is, in case of insufficient or no power supply, the umbrella can be opened and closed through the cranking handle.
