Abstract: Improvements to a portable fire extinguisher are disclosed. The improvements allow for frequent and simplified inspection and maintenance of a fire extinguisher with minimal training and without need for custom equipment. The improvements include an anti-bridging mechanism that can be articulated from the exterior of the chamber to fluff, mix or stir the powder within the chamber to keep it in a liquefied state. Additional improvements include a larger opening to more quickly fill and inspect the powder within the chamber. Another improvement includes the use of a CO2 cartridge located external to the chamber to allow easier servicing or replacement of just the CO2 cartridge as well as the ability to maintain the chamber in an un-pressurized condition, allows for non-HASMAT shipping. These features will extend the service intervals while maintaining the fire extinguisher in a ready condition.

Abstract: Disclosed are a process and a system for treating contaminated soil. The process includes introducing a contaminated soil to an agitation unit. Ozone is supplied to the agitation unit thereby forming a soil-gas mixture, and the soil-gas mixture is agitated for sufficient time for the ozone to contact the contaminants thereby forming an ozone-treated soil and a residual gas-particulates mixture. The ozone-treated soil and the residual gas-particulates mixture are removed from the agitation unit. If necessary, remaining ozone is then flushed from the soil. The process occurs under negative pressure to prevent ozone from being released to the atmosphere.

Abstract: In a golf club head assembly a body member has a top-forward angled front face, the face comprising a plurality of generally forward-facing teeth. The golf club head assembly further comprises a loft angle adjustment mechanism attached to the body member for adjusting a loft angle of the face. The mechanism includes a hosel element releasably attached to a bar rotatably mounted to an upper side of the body member parallel to the face. The bar is rotatably journaled or mounted in a pair of bar supports attached to the body member. Set screws reside in threaded holes in the bar supports, the set screws operable to releasably lock the bar in a selected orientation relative to the body member, where the selected orientation of the bar corresponds to and determines the loft angle of the front face. The forward angle of the front face, the angles of the teeth, and loft angle of the face are jointly chosen to impart a pure rolling motion onto a struck golf ball.

Abstract: A golf tee recycling tool can include a body, a first aperture, and at least one guillotine blade. The body can be centered on a longitudinal axis and extend along the longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end opposite to the first end along the longitudinal axis. The first aperture can be disposed at the first end and can be sized to slidably receive a shank of a golf tee and substantially maintain the shank centered on the longitudinal axis. The guillotine blade can be disposed in the body and can have at least one edge extending transverse to the longitudinal axis. The guillotine blade can be movable relative to the body between a first position spaced from the longitudinal axis and a second position in which the longitudinal axis passes through the guillotine blade.

Abstract: A baseball game system is capable of accurately determining a location of a ball using a single camera, the baseball game system including: a pitching unit pitching a ball toward a determination area including a strike zone; a photographing unit positioned in a space between the determination area and the pitching unit; and a location detector detecting a location of a ball based on a plurality of images from the photographing unit. The location detector includes a non-stroke processor detecting a location of a non-struck ball and a stroke processor detecting a location of a struck ball. The non-stroke processor sets first, second, third and fourth straight lines defining the strike zone; calculates, when the ball in the image passes between the first straight line and the second straight line, an average size of the balls between the first straight line and the second straight line; and detects a vertical location of the ball in the determination area based on the average size.
