Abstract: Systems and methods of the present invention provide for one or more server computers communicatively coupled to a network and configured to: receive, from a user interface on a client, a request for a listing of subject matter experts and keywords identifying the subject matter; query a database, in response to receiving the transmission, to select employee score data records including the subject matter keywords and automatically generated in response to the server receiving an employee calendar event data or employee communication data related to the calendar event data; automatically generate: a total score by adding the employee score from each score data record including an employee identifier; and the listing of subject matter experts; and transmit the listing to the client for display.

Abstract: System and method for analyzing timesheet data to derive serendipitous insights are disclosed. Timesheet data for a plurality of employees working on multiple projects may be stored. The timesheet data may be analyzed to generate project insights associated with project tasks, for each of the plurality of employees. Priority scores for each of the project tasks may be calculated based on the project insights. Further, a dependency factor of the project task with respect to an outcome of the project may be evaluated.

The method includes establishing secure connections between a hardware device and databases external to the hardware device. A group of tasks associated with an individual are identified and available timeframes associated with an availability of the individual are determined. A first potential score and maximum score for each task are computed. The first potential score is compared to each maximum potential score and in response, a subset of tasks are automatically selected. The subset of tasks are mapped to the available timeframes and results of the mapping a cached within a caching circuit of the hardware device. Results of the caching are presented via the hardware device.

Abstract: Task assignments are identified. A dataset that includes one or more electronic messages is received. Then, one or more pending tasks in the dataset are identified, and each of a plurality of people who are mentioned in the dataset is also identified. Then, for each of the pending tasks, one or more of the identified people are identified as potentially being people who are assigned to complete the pending task, and the pending task is associated with these identified one or more of the identified people. For each of the pending tasks, one or more of the identified people are also identified as potentially being people for whom the pending task is to be completed, and the pending task is also associated with these identified one or more of the identified people.

Abstract: An event schedule optimizer system includes a user interface, an invitees extractor, a time optimizer, and a place optimizer. The user interface is to receive data input from an organizer and provide data output to the organizer. The invitees extractor is to generate an intended invitees list including intended invitees for a target event based on the data input from the organizer. The time optimizer is to determine an optimal time period for the target event based on a list of historical events of the organizer. The place optimizer is to determine an optimal place for the target event based on a set of proposed times and the list of historical events of the organizer.

Abstract: An example system is provided in according with one implementation of the present disclosure. The system includes a first sensor positioned at a storage structure displaying an item, where the first sensor is to capture vibration data in proximity to the item. The system further includes a location analysis engine to perform a location analysis of a user, an identity analysis engine to perform an identity analysis of the user, a user interaction engine to perform an interaction analysis of the user's interaction with the item based on the vibration data from the first sensor, and a collaboration engine to perform a collaboration analysis related to the item based on the location analysis of the user, the identity analysis of the user, and the user interaction analysis with the item.

Abstract: A device receives a request for a flight path for a UAV to travel from a location to an anticipated location associated with a mobile device, and determines capability information for the UAV based on component information associated with the UAV. The device receives information associated with a current location, a direction of travel, and a speed of the mobile device, and calculates the flight path from the location to the anticipated location associated with the mobile device based on the capability information and based on the information associated with the current location, the direction of travel, and the speed of the mobile device. The device generates flight path instructions for the flight path, and provides the flight path instructions to the UAV to permit the UAV to travel from the location to the anticipated location associated with the mobile device, based on the flight path instructions.

Abstract: Various systems, mediums, and methods may involve a routing system. For example, the routing system may determine a user request for an item, possibly generated by the user's device, such as a smartphone device. The routing system may search for the item with a lead inventory system associated with one or more networks. The routing system may identify that the lead inventory system is out or out of stock with respect to the requested item. The routing system may also route the user request to one or more stocked inventory systems, possibly holding the requested item in stock. As such, the routing system may identify at least one stocked inventory system capable of providing the requested item from the inventory.

Abstract: A virtual warehouse system may determine a product code associated with a request for an item generated by a user device. The system may search for the requested item with a virtual warehouse database based on the determined product code. The system may identify a lead inventory associated with the requested item based on searching for the requested item with the virtual warehouse database, where the lead inventory is out of stock of the requested item. The system may identify one or more stocked inventories with one or more stocked items that correspond with the requested item based on the search, where the one or more stocked items is identified without the one or more stocked items corresponding to the determined product code. The system may cause the user device to display one or more notifications associated with the one or more stocked inventories.

The server computing device may then determine that the second position is within a threshold distance of the first position or vice versa. Finally, the server computing device may generate a delivery confirmation in response to a first determination that the second position is within a threshold distance of the first position and a second determination that the first position is within a threshold distance of the second position.

Abstract: A method and system enables a transporter of cargo to receive real-time status data from an active “tag” device with a sensor affixed to the cargo by connecting the tag device with a mobile application, or “app,” downloaded on a delivery driver's smart phone. The sensor data from the device combines with the geo-location data available on the delivery driver phone to provide the originator with real time status of his cargo and exact geo-location during transit from warehouse to delivery destination.

Abstract: A method of matching carriers to shippers is described. In an embodiment, the method comprises the steps of receiving carrier capacity data from a plurality of linked sources into a transportation database in a data processing system, wherein the carrier capacity data comprises a parameter for each linked source; saving the carrier capacity data; receiving a request for a requested route into the data processing system, wherein the request includes request data; comparing the parameter of each linked source to the request data; determining if the parameter of at least one linked source matches the request data; displaying a matched route for each at least one linked source for which the parameter matches the request data; and displaying each matched route on a graphical user interface.

Abstract: Various techniques for performing contextual event rescheduling with an event scheduling service are disclosed herein. In an example, data is processed at an event scheduling service, based on the use of a trained machine learning model that is specific to a user. This model is operated by the event scheduling service determine a contextual action option for rescheduling an electronic communication event at a proposed time with proposed scheduling parameters. The model may identify the proposed time and event scheduling parameters, from data indicating a user state, or external data, in addition to a semantic text option (such as “Call Back After Meeting”) corresponding to the proposed time and event scheduling parameters. Further examples to evaluate user activity and identify reschedule options based on data inputs from a user's mobile computing device, wearable sensors, and external weather, traffic, or event data sources, are also disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for self-service recycling are provided. In particular, some embodiments include graphical user interfaces and backend systems that allow users to engage in remote inquiries of available salvage automotive parts in salvage yards. A user makes a request for a type of recyclable assembly. Examples of types of recyclable assemblies include, but are not limited to, automobiles, tractors, electronic devices, home appliances, and vending machines. The request is compared to a database of end-of-life vehicles across a number of salvage yards. When a salvage yard is identified as having the specified end-of-life vehicle, local parts pullers who are on site are notified and a communication channel between the parts puller and the user is initiated. This is facilitated through geofencing and location aware devices. Using this information, the user can determine if any of the identified parts remain on the vehicle and may purchase the parts from the SSAR facility for resale.

The plurality of remote servers is used to authenticate the unverified certificate and aid in transferring ownership of the unverified certificate. To do so, each remote server executes an authentication process for the unverified certificate and sends either a pass status or a fail status to the user computing device. The user computing device executes an assessment process for the unverified certificate based on the pass statuses and fail statuses received. Authentication information related to the unverified certificate is then updated on the user computing device and each remote server that returned the pass status.

Abstract: A method or system for facilitating financial transactions, in particular, an electronic payment method for managing payment of a cost of a consumer's e-commerce order separately from the purchase transaction. The invention thereby decouples the role of the customer—who sets up the e-commerce order—from the role of the paying party. Thus the e-commerce transaction can be completed by the consumer without paying for the goods or service selected in the e-commerce transaction. A user may utilize a communication device to capture one or more images of the user and other users located with the user, which may be posted to an image sharing platform, such as a social network. The user may also provide posts identifying the other users with the user. Utilizing the posted data, a service provider may determine that other users are with the user at the time and/or location of the posted data. The service provider may determine a transaction that the user processed, and may determine other users splitting or involved in the transaction based on the posted data. Thus, the service provider may request that the other users provide the required reimbursement to the user that processed the transaction based on the posted data.

Abstract: An email payment gateway having electronic commerce (e-commerce) system may send advertisement emails to customers that are registered with the e-commerce system. The advertisement emails may include mailto hyperlinks. Each mailto hyperlink may be associated with a product that is being offered for sale, and each mailto hyperlink describes an email message that may be generated when that hyperlink is selected. When a mailto hyperlink is selected, the generated email message may include one or more parameters related to the product associated with the hyperlink, such as an identifier of the product. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the e-commerce system. The e-commerce system may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, execute a transaction to purchase the identified product on behalf of the customer.

Abstract: An email payment gateway may be configured to send emails to customers, including a plurality of mailto hyperlinks. Each mailto hyperlink may be in the form of a graphical user interface button associated with one or more products. Each button generates a return email message when the button is selected. The generated email message may include one or more parameters related to the one or more products associated with the button, such as an identifier of the product, vendor or particular campaign with which the product is associated. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the email payment gateway. The email payment gateway may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, process payment to complete the customer's purchase of the selected product.

Abstract: A transaction record linked to photos taken within geographic or temporal proximity to the various transactions of the record may create a visual way for consumers to interact with their transaction data. Payment transaction data including a customer identifier, a first geo-location of a point-of-sale terminal, and a transaction time stamp may be compared against a second geo-location of a user device associated with the customer identifier. In response to the first geo-location being within a predetermined distance of the second geo-location, an image may be retrieved or created. Transaction records may then show the payment transaction data and the image.

Abstract: To facilitate conducting a secure transaction via wireless communication between a portable electronic device (such as a smartphone) and another electronic device (such as a point-of-sale terminal), the portable electronic device may, after a final command is received from the other electronic device, determine a unique transaction identifier for the secure transaction. In particular, the final command may be specific to an applet, stored in a secure element in the portable electronic device, which conducts the secure transaction. The secure element may generate the unique transaction identifier based on financial-account information associated with the applet, which is communicated to the other electronic device. Next, the secure element may provide, to a processor in the portable electronic device, an end message for the secure transaction with the unique transaction identifier.

Abstract: The method, the mobile device, and the payment terminal of the invention relate to security of contactless payment performed during a purchase of products or services by using a short-range wireless communication between the mobile device and the payment terminal. Various external parameters associated to the payment transaction may be exchanged between the mobile device and the payment terminal. Preferred embodiments comprise external parameters such as respective positions of the mobile device and the payment terminal, time stamps related to transaction processing time or identifiers of each the mobile device and the payment terminal. Difference values related to these external parameters are verified by both the mobile device and the payment terminal by carrying out comparison with reference values before validation of the payment transaction by the payment terminal.

For example, one method includes initializing a transaction mode for using a transaction card having a front portion and a rear portion from a seat device of a transportation vehicle; adjusting lighting from the seat device to capture an image of the transaction card; capturing the image of the transaction card using a camera of the seat device; and processing the image of the transaction card and extracting information from the image of the transaction card.

In one aspect, a method includes acquiring card face display data of a virtual card to be displayed when receiving an interface display instruction, and generating a payment function identification for the virtual card according to a provisioning state of a payment function supported by the virtual card. The method also includes displaying the virtual card according to the card face display data and the payment function identification for the virtual card. In this disclosure, one or more virtual cards can be displayed intuitively according to different payment functions supported by the virtual cards and different provisioning states of the respective payment functions, so that all payment manners supported by the virtual cards are clearly displayed. Thus, a user can be helped and guided to apply for provisioning of corresponding payment functions conveniently.
