Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for use with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). A central controller is coupled to the autopilot system for a UAV. Navigation is implemented by using two GPS antennas and obtaining a difference between the locations from these two antenna to arrive at a high precision bearing or direction of travel. This single GPS derived bearing is used to trigger all the various subsystems on the UAV for imaging or mapping. Areas and locations to be mapped and imaged are determined by geolocation and mapping and imaging equipment are triggered based on the single GPS signal derived from the two GPS antennas. To reduce vibration effects on navigational and imaging or mapping equipment, these are positioned as close as possible to the vehicle's center of gravity and are deployed in a shielded box on vibration isolation mounts.

Abstract: The displacements of the drone are defined by piloting commands applied to a set of propulsion units of the drone, the drone flying along a trajectory that is at least in part predetermined, to take moving images of a target. The drone adjusts the camera sight angle during its displacements, and as the case may be, those of the target, so that at each instant, the image taken by the camera contain the position of the target. The system comprises means for determining a static trajectory of the drone for the shooting, means for determining a dynamics of displacement of the drone along the static trajectory, and means for generating flying instructions for the drone based on the two determinations and on information about the target position over time.

Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for distinguishing roadway surface lane markings for a vehicle to follow. Automated driving or driving assist vehicles utilize sensors to help the vehicle navigate on roadways or in parking areas. The sensors can utilize, for example, the painted surface markings to help guide the vehicle on its path. When ambiguity is detected between roadway surface markings, decision making algorithms identify a set of roadway surface markings for a vehicle to abide by. The sensors can also identify the location and trajectory of neighboring vehicles to increase confidence with respect to an identified set of roadway surface markings.

In some embodiments, the case can include a tab that allows a user to fold open the cover of the case to form a triangular prism. The prism can be placed on any of its surfaces such that the device can be oriented towards a user at particular angles (e.g., a typing-specific orientation and a media playback orientation).
