Abstract: A fast-dismounted cymbal-locking nut being screwed through an outer thread of a mounting bolt of a cymbal to press the cymbal tightly and adjust the position of the cymbal, comprises a seat, a first wing, a second wing, and a resilience element. The first and second wings are pivotally coupled to the seat; each of them has a locking position and a fast-dismount position. The first and second wings respectively include first and second semi-spherical threaded grooves, which jointly form an inner thread corresponding to the outer thread at their locking positions. At the fast-dismount positions, the shortest distance between the first and second semi-spherical threaded grooves is larger than the outer diameter of the outer thread. The user can directly mount the nut to the outer thread without screwing the nut through the outer thread. The nut enables the user to fast mount or dismount a cymbal.

Abstract: Improvements in collection of brake dust from a disc brake assembly are disclosed. The brake assembly includes a rotor, a caliper, brake pads and a filter. The filter is disposed within a shroud which covers at least 70% of the distal side periphery on both sides of the brake rotor. The housing can encompass the brake caliper so that the amount of brake residue captured and the air flow recycled on the brake rotor can be maximized. The brake dust waste collector can incorporate one or more magnets within the air stream to collect heavy particles smaller than 40 nm that can fall from gravity or vibration. The filters collect particles larger than 40 nm as the air is forced through the housings. The air is forced out of the impeller housing and onto the rotor to aid in cooling of the braking system.

Abstract: A brake caliper includes a caliper body. The caliper body has a first accommodation trough and a second accommodation trough. The first accommodation trough is provided with at least one piston and two first brake linings pushed by the piston. The second accommodation trough is provided with two second brake linings. The two second brake linings are connected with a drive unit. When the user pedals the brake pedal of a vehicle, the brake master cylinder of the vehicle pushes the piston to link the two first brake linings to clamp both sides of the disc to perform foot brake. When the user activates the electric parking brake of the vehicle, the drive unit will push the two second brake linings to perform electronic hand brake.

Abstract: An electromechanical brake system capable of conducting a brake pad wear check includes a structure defining a chamber, a member that rotates with a wheel, a motor mounted to the structure, a reciprocating piston, a brake pad, and a controller. The piston is driven by the motor between a variable actuated position and a retracted position. The brake pad is movably supported by the structure, operatively coupled to the piston, and adapted for braking contact with the member when the piston is in the actuated position, and spaced from the member when the piston is in the retracted position. The controller controls reciprocation of the piston between the actuated and retracted positions via energization of the motor, performs a brake pad wear check by calculating a change in a parameter associated with a change in distance between positions, and compares the change in parameter to a threshold value.
