Also disclosed herein is a strapping tool assembly that includes one or more strapping tool subassemblies configured to perform one or more strapping operations; a power transfer subassembly operatively coupled to the one or more strapping tool subassemblies, the power transfer subassembly configured to transfer motive power from the external power source to the one or more strapping tool subassemblies; and attachment means configured to releasably attach the strapping tool assembly to the external power source, the attachment means further configured to hold the external power source in a substantially fixed position relative to the strapping tool assembly when the attachment means is engaged.

Abstract: A devices (10) for filling a thin-walled transport container (18) made of flexible material with notes of value is described. For this, the device (10) comprises a supply unit (12), a stacking unit (14) and a receiving unit (16) for receiving the thin-walled transport container (18). By means of a stuffing unit (20) the stacked notes of value are moved into the transport container (18) in several successive filling steps. A closing unit (22) closes the thin-walled transport container (18) after the last filling step. The receiving unit (16) comprises a contact sensor (32) which, upon contact with the bottom of the transport container (18), generates a signal that triggers the closing operation or the transport container (18).

Abstract: A fluid filling apparatus for filling containers with a fluid is provided. An ultrasonic frequency is used to vibrate a filling nozzle between successive container filling cycles. The vibrations break a liquid string filament formed at a discharge end of the filling nozzle at the end of each filling cycle. Methods and a fluid filling nozzle for filling containers with a fluid are also provided.

Abstract: A thermoforming packaging machine having an unwinding device for a bottom film web and a film conveying apparatus for intermittently conveying the bottom film web in a production direction using clamp chains. The packaging machine includes a holding strip for the bottom film web, the holding strip disposed in the intake area of the clamp chains. The holding strip is configured to hold part of a free leading end of a new bottom film web to be fed while and/or until the new bottom film web is gripped by the clamp chains and subsequently conveyed by the clamp chains.

The tag applicator includes a linear actuator, and a pair of tag arms, one end of each being pivotably connected to the linear actuator. The two arms are biased toward each other, such as by a spring. A separator is positioned between the tag arms, so as to force the tag arms to separate as the linear actuator extends. A finger or tag hook is connected at the end of each tag arm, configured and positioned to connect to or insert into the elastic loop, and to extend the elastic loop as the tag arms are separated. With the tag loop held open, the product moves into the loop, and the tag is thereby applied to the product.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a forming apparatus for forming a base of a container filled with a pourable product and closed with a closure element. In one implementation, the apparatus includes a first conveyance device advancing the container along a first path, a second conveyance device arranged below the first path and configured to advance the deformation device along a second path, an upper retainer arranged above the first path and cooperating in use with a top part of the container, and at least one deformation device arranged below the first path, advanced in use to follow the container moving along the first path, and configured to interact with the container to deform its base. The first conveyance device may include two parallel first linear conveyors arranged side by side, defining a gap between the conveyors, and having respective horizontal linear transport branches lying in a common horizontal plane.

A monolayer embodiment is also disclosed. The bottom tray includes a plurality of cup-shaped elements each configured to accommodate a bottom portion of a beverage container. Each cup-shaped element includes at least a first deformable element comprising one or more wide portions and one or more thin portions. The center support is disposed between the bottom tray and the top tray. The top tray includes bottle neck accommodating spaces each bounded by a set of vertical posts.

Abstract: A container for holding a food product includes a bottom wall, a side wall, and a flange extending from the side wall. The bottom wall, the side wall, and the flange include a base layer, and the bottom wall and the side wall cooperate to at least partially define a cavity of the container. The container also includes an interior surface at least partially forming the cavity, an exterior surface opposite the interior surface, and an edge at the flange that extends between the interior surface and the exterior surface. A coating at least partially covers the base layer and at least partially defines the interior surface, and the edge includes an uncoated portion of the base layer. A protective strip covers the edge and prevents fluid from passing into the uncoated portion of the base layer at the edge.

A plurality of telescoping support bars extend from the pivot means across the spill containment pallet. At least one spacing strap is secured to each of the support bars to maintain a spacing for the support bars, with one end of the strap secured to a first support bar and the other end secured to a last support bar. A flexible cover, supported by the plurality of support bars, is attached to the first support bar and the last support bar. The flexible cover covers any drums placed on the grate when the support bars are in a covering-arrangement, and access to any drums on the grate is provided from the rear or front of the pallet, when in an open-arrangement.

The top wall defines at least one bendable area that includes a wire loop. The bendable area may be bent upwardly or downwardly about a fold line relative to the top wall. Two identical plates can be secured together by the one ore more bendable areas to form a food storage container that a user can use to carry left-over food. The plate includes interlocking members on the bottom wall. The interlocking members are used when plates or storage containers made from the plates are stacked together. The interlocking members prevent the plates or food storage containers from rotating relative to each other or from sliding laterally off the stack.

Abstract: Provided herein is a container for storing and transporting a sandwich. The container includes separate compartments for storing the sandwich components to prevent the bread from becoming soggy due to wetter ingredients. Removable dividers in between the compartments allow for easy and automatic assembly of the sandwich within the container prior to consumption.

Abstract: Opposing Sided Divider Zip Seal Channel With Sleeve allows for multiple sealable compartments made from plastic, paper, foil, rubber, latex or compatible combinations in one bag. It is made for home, industrial or commercial usage such as pharmaceutical, medical packaging and food accommodations for retail marketing, storage or transportation of product and other uses. Compartments can be filled with solids or liquids and/or coolants or combinations. The size of the reusable flexible multi-compartmental containers vary from very small (less than one inch or 2.5 cm) to extra large (hundreds of inches or cms) and are amenable to various modifications and alternative forms. The opening can be sealed by a closure, the closure having an upper portion with a handle that has a circular curvature equal to the cylindrical portion of the closure. The closure may also have a lower portion that is joined to the upper portion by an injection molded polymer element. The closure may also be in the form of “flip” type of closure such that the lid can be selectably opened or closed by the user by rotating a flip closure into either the opened or closed position. The closure may also be a two-part lid having a lower cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the container and an upper cap that may be configured to be removably-coupled to the lower cap.

The valve assembly includes a housing defining a fluid path extending between an inlet and an outlet, and a plunger sub-assembly secured within the fluid path. Abstract: A tank filling device for a liquid container has a base body with mounting end to secure the base body on a liquid container. An actuating section is disposed in the base body interior and slidable lengthwise relative to the base body. A liquid valve is connected to an outlet opening for liquid and controls the outlet opening by being coupled to the actuating section such that the liquid valve is manually opened or closed by moving the actuating section. An air channel with air inlet and air outlet supplies air into the liquid container for pressure compensation. The air channel extends from the liquid valve toward the mounting end and has an air valve at the air outlet. The air outlet is provided between the actuating section and the base body and is a slot control valve formed by actuating section and base body.

Abstract: A package comprises a latch including first and second legs and an actuating portion. The first and second legs are joined at an angle. The actuator portion of the first leg is positioned to be displaced generally laterally to displace the second leg generally longitudinally to release the latch. In another embodiment the package has base wells on the inside surface. A generally flat marginal sealing surface encircles the first and second base wells. The wells of the base and/or lid are covered with a cover sheet to close them. Still another embodiment is a child-resistant container comprising a shell, two drawers, a stop, and a latch. The drawers are prevented from sliding apart past a limit of travel when one drawer is open sufficiently to provide access to its contents and the other drawer is not.

Abstract: A storage container and methods for releasably containing one or more vaporizer cartridges are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, the storage container can include a container cap that can be releasably secured to a container base thereby forming a storage volume configured to contain at least one vaporizer cartridge. In some embodiments, the storage container can include a cradle for positioning the vaporizer cartridge within the storage volume, such as for positioning the vaporizer cartridge relative to a transparent window along the container base. Another object of the present invention is to provide a package especially for retail display for containing a food such as fresh produce, cheeses and meats, and/or non-food product. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a manually openable package which includes a tray peelable heat sealed to a lidding film laminate.

The first and second plies can define an inflation chamber therebetween that can be inflatable with a fluid and operable to contain the fluid. An interior seal can be disposed within the inflation chamber attaching the first and second plies together. The interior seal can include a perimeter seal that encloses an inner portion in which the first and second plies are unattached from one another.

The lid may be rotatable about a hinge from a closed configuration to an open configuration and may be secured, via one or more latching devices, in either the closed configuration or the open configuration. In some examples, the rotatable lid may be non-destructively removable from the base. Abstract: A pill feeder accepts a quantity of pills and organizes the pills into a single file where each pill is output in a controlled orientation at a controlled rate. The pill feeder includes a rotating disk, a rotating rim, a lift gate, a separator gate, and an exit path. The rotating disk receives and moves pills in a rotation direction about a surface of the rotating disk at a first angular velocity. The rotating rim that moves pills received from the rotating disk in the same rotation direction as the rotating disk. The lift gate raises a height above the surface of the rotating rim that permits passage of a single layer of the plurality of pills. A transition to an exit chute of the pill feeder provides a plurality of slopes to control the orientation of pills transitioning from the rim to the exit chute.
