More specifically, the present disclosure relates to an evaluation system that utilizes a combination of subjective interactive stages; subjective and objective analysis of the business, person, or concept; and visualization tools to create a statement of value of the business, person, or concept that may elicit personal, emotional, and logical responses from a target audience.

Abstract: Techniques for providing predictive metrics relating to employment positions are provided. A method may include receiving, by a computing device, data relating to a plurality of employment positions, wherein the data is received from a plurality of customers. The computing device may aggregate the data received from the plurality of customers and may determine statistics using the aggregated data, which are based on each of the plurality of employment positions. The computing device may generate one or more predictive metrics relating to the plurality of employment positions using one or more of the statistics.

Abstract: The disclosure generally describes methods, software, and systems, including a method for optimizing people flows. User preferences and a user context are received. Resource information is accessed for resources to be used by the user and other users during participation in a multi-human activity scenario. Optimizations are generated based on the user preferences, user context, and resource information. The optimizations include best start times for the user and other users and is generated based on current resource loads and expected times of use. The optimizations include, for a given resource-user pair, locations, times, and events, each event associated with a separate user task at a given resource. A schedule, provided to the user, includes the best start time and, for each resource assigned to the user, a time, a location, and an event schedule indicating mandatory, preferred and optional times and sub-locations of the events.

Abstract: Appointments are scheduled for a user. A query that is submitted by the user is received, where this query includes data specifying a particular service the user is interested in. A computer network is then searched for information related to the data in the query. The query and the information found in this search are then analyzed to select a service provider that optimally matches the data in the query. An appointment for the particular service the user is interested in is then scheduled with the selected service provider.

Abstract: Implementations relate to computer-assisted agendas for videoconferences. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes receiving, at a device, scheduling input associated with a videoconference, where the scheduling input includes a time for the videoconference and one or more identifiers of one or more participants for the videoconference. In response to receiving the scheduling input, the method generates a record of the videoconference in storage, and determines an agenda for the videoconference including a plurality of agenda items. Each agenda item is associated with a respective time period in the videoconference, and at least one of the time periods is automatically determined. The method detects that the videoconference is in progress, and in response, causes output during the videoconference on one or more participating user devices connected to the videoconference, where the output is based on at least one of the agenda items.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for identifying and generating actionable notifications for user coordination. The invention establishes a communication link to one or more user devices over a distributed network in order to continuously monitor and extract user information such as financial data, device data, calendar data, and social data. In this way, the invention may identify social and financial user trends as well as scheduled events such as meetings, appointments, deadlines, and the like. The invention transmits actionable notifications to the user device allowing the invention to act upon the user response. Additionally, the invention may communicate with third party systems to offer third party products and services to the user.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for location disbursement coordination. The invention generates a database integration with communication linkages for disbursement coordination for travel or relocation. Furthermore, the system identifying the travel or relocation requirements of a user and other individuals associated with the travel or relocation and the logistics for the same. The system identifies and stores contact information for third parties performing the requirements of the logistics. Furthermore, the invention communicates with the third parties for completion of disbursement coordination for logistics of the travel or relocation. The invention generates an interactive real-time coordination calendar system for storage and display on a mobile device and parses tasks associated with the travel or relocation and communicate the tasks to the user or the other individuals via the interactive real-time coordination calendar system.

Abstract: Variety of approaches to provide a meeting time picker with automated suggestions are described. A calendar application initiates operations to provide a meeting time picker upon detecting an intent of a meeting organizer to organize a meeting. The intent lists a meeting invitee. Availability information associated with the meeting invitee is retrieved from a calendar provider. A first layer, a second layer, and third layer of timeslots are generated for a presentation. The first layer includes a meeting organizer schedule. The second layer includes an aggregate schedule of the meeting invitee. The third layer includes a suggested schedule of a meeting time. The first layer, the second layer, and the third layer are presented in a scheduling grid to the meeting organizer.

Abstract: Variety of approaches to provide time polling are described. A calendar application initiates operations to provide meeting time polling upon processing an availability information associated with a meeting organizer and/or a meeting invitee to provide suggested timeslot(s). Selected timeslot(s) are received as a selection from the suggested timeslot(s) by the meeting organizer. The selected timeslots are transmitted to the meeting invitee for prompting the meeting invitee for a vote. Next, voted timeslots are received as a selection from the selected timeslot(s) by the meeting invite. The voted timeslot(s) are provided to the meeting organizer for prompting the meeting organizer to finalize the meeting.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, devices, and methods related for generating a recommendation to repair an asset based on operating data. A computing system may be configured maintain a hierarchy that comprises two or more distinct levels of conditions that operating data may be checked against in order to determine which repair recommendation (if any) should be output. The hierarchy may include at least (1) a first condition that corresponds to a first repair recommendation having a first level of precision, and (2) a second condition that corresponds to a second repair recommendation having a second level of precision. Once repair recommendations are identified for satisfied conditions, the computer system may select the recommendation having the highest level of precision and then cause that recommendation to be output.

Abstract: An automated method for managing the repair, remanufacture, or refurbishment of electronic products, such as smart cellular phones and tablet computers, based on expected economic returns, beginning with the initial “triage” assessment, and continuing with established check points to validate continuation of the repair process. Parameters used to make this determination include the anticipated market value of the product, projected material and labor costs at any point in the process, and the expected probability of a successful repair completion. Companies engaged in this business usually have a method of projecting the expected cost of repairing an electronic product. However, if the actual repair cost exceeds the projection, this is often not realized until after the completion of the repair or refurbishment, resulting in an economic loss. This automated method provides economically intelligent process routing to prevent that occurrence.

Abstract: A receptacle is disclosed for containing waste. The waste receptacle may have a container with at least one opening, and a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of rubbish being deposited through the at least one opening. The waste receptacle may also have a public-use device operatively connected to the container, and a controller in communication with the sensor and the public-use device. The controller may be configured to selectively provide access to the public-use device based on the signal.

Abstract: A system including a network connected to at least one mint computing device implementing a virtual currency mint. The network has a ring topology and includes computing devices that implement a plurality of nodes. The mint issues units of virtual currency to user accounts implemented by the nodes. Each of at least a portion of the nodes is configured to initiate (as a sender node) a transaction with a recipient node that transfers at least one unit of the virtual currency from a sender one of the user accounts to a recipient one of the user accounts. The recipient node validates the transaction, creates a receipt, performs an operation on the receipt to identify a storage node, and routes the receipt to the storage node. The storage node stores the receipt, identifies next storage nodes, and routes copies of the receipt to the next storage nodes for storage thereby.

The merchant terminal receives updates from the customer terminal regarding the status of the payment portion for a transaction. The merchant terminal can provide an input to the UI window which is sent as a message to the customer terminal. Control of state for the point of sale system is shared such that when the system is in a first state, the merchant terminal is the state control terminal, and when the point of sale system is in a second state, the customer terminal is the state control terminal and has control of state for the system.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for facilitating a mobile payment. A mobile phone 2 is provided and a front-facing camera 6 of the mobile phone 2 can image the display screen 14 of a point of sale device 10. In one arrangement one or more processors in the mobile phone 2 can convert magnetic stripe data from a payment card into a two-dimensional barcode for display on the screen 4 of the mobile phone 2. The two-dimensional barcode includes embedded information from the payment card including Application Transaction Counter (ATC) data and card verification (CVC3) data. An optical scanner 12 in the point of sale device 10 is used to read the two-dimensional barcode displayed on the mobile phone 2, and the code can be analysed to extract the embedded information. The extracted information can then be used to process a transaction.

Abstract: The present invention includes systems and methods for facilitating transactions using non-traditional devices. A method of the present invention includes the steps of forming a transaction request at a non-traditional device, and communicating the transaction request to a reader. In one embodiment, the non-traditional device may be configured with a transponder or other RF operable device. In another embodiment, the non-traditional device may be configured with an RFID protocol, such as a protocol in ISO 8583 format. In yet another embodiment, the non-traditional device may be configured to facilitate transactions using a random number, an authentication tag, a counter, or an encrypted payload.

Abstract: A system and method are provided that include a communication system coupled to a vehicle, the communication system being configured to determine geospatial location data of the vehicle and transmit the geospatial location data to a server. At least one beacon communicates with the communication system and provides a reference location from which a part of the geospatial location data is determined. A mobile device is in communication with the server and is configured to receive geospatial location data of parked vehicles, compare the geospatial location data of the parked vehicles with geospatial reference location data of parking spaces in a parking lot to determine whether at least one parking space is available, and (communicate to the mobile device whether at least one parking space in the parking lot is available. The mobile device is configured to generate an output indicating whether at least one parking space is available.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for verifying the identity of an internet user, or for detecting the misuse of an identity, during an on-line transaction. The method involves comparing the geographic location of the transaction to the geographic location of the user's cell phone or other mobile device, and taking a geographically close location relationship between the two as a positive indication of identity. Various additional factors are taken into account so as to reduce the incidence of false negatives, and to improve the reliability of positive identifications.

The method provides for accessing a secure wireless network used by an in-store system so as to make payment for goods or services over the secure wireless network. The method comprises initializing an application installed in a device capable of making the payment of goods or services, wherein the application is configured to generate a handshaking signal that is recognized by the in-store system to allow the device to access the secure wireless network established by the in-store system; transmitting the handshaking signal from the device to the in-store system; establishing access to the secure wireless network in response to validation of the handshaking signal by the in-store system; and initiating a payment process used to complete the payment for the goods or services.

By scanning the NFC tag, a gift-transfer application can be launched, which allows a user to select a digital gift and associate the digital gift with the NFC tag. The physical gift item can be given to another user, who can also scan the NFC tag in order to retrieve the digital gift.

The method further includes sending, to a server, a request to share the digital exchange item with a group of computing devices. When the digital exchange item can be shared, the method further includes the server establishing secure custody rights for each computing device, determining haring rights regarding the digital exchange item, and generating replications of the digital exchange item. Aspects of the disclosure provide for processing one or more financial transactions at a merchant system independent of a payment processing network.

Abstract: An apparatus and related method are provided for managing of peripheral devices and communication of sensitive data, such as, payment transactions in a manner that satisfies security concerns while minimizing maintenance of sensitive data by point-of-sale providers, which can be achieved by reducing or eliminating direct connections from internal networks to workstations and devices, and using a dedicated secure communications link for updates and processing of all sensitive data. In this manner, the system and related method reduces risk of system compromise and maintenance overhead.

Abstract: This invention is a comprehensive “Dynamic Security Code” (“DSC”) System (“DSC System”) that can change the security code of a prepaid, debit, or credit card (“Payment Card”). In an effort to thwart Card-Not-Present (“CNP”) fraud, the DSC System provides dynamic security code values (“DSC Values”) that have a limited use. The DSC Values provided by this DSC System can be calculated by various methodologies and can be used within existing standard payment card infrastructures. The DSC System can also be used with other form factors and in other environments not related to payments such as balance inquiries. The DSC Values can be calculated by a DSC Generator Server or on the card itself.

Abstract: A system to provide a multi-function transaction card is disclosed. In one example, the system includes a card and a functionality transfer unit. The card incorporates a magnetic stripe for transmitting data to and recording data from the functionality transfer unit and for the making of magnetic stripe-based transactions, and contact and contactless provisions for transmitting data to and receiving data from said functionality transfer unit, for the making of contact or contactless transactions and for the card to receive electrical current. The functionality transfer unit is operated to read data from a conventional transaction card, to analyze the data to extract that required to permit said multi-function card to operate as a clone of the conventional transaction card. Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for controlling financial account access. In one aspect, a method is provided, including storing a financial account in a database, having details of one or more payment vehicles and a mobile phone number, and associating, in the database, a unique access token with the financial account. A request to access the financial account is then received through a computing system, the request including the access token that is cross-referenced against the database, to identify the financial account associated with the access token, and identifying the mobile phone number from the financial account. A verifier, authorized to access the financial account, is then sent to the mobile phone number. Access is granted to the financial account through the computing system if the verifier is subsequently received through the computing system; access is denied if the verifier is not subsequently received through the computing system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for generating communicable linkages that collectively provide a cloud-based dynamic credential selection and implementation system. The system generates a user profile containing user preferences, historic trends, and user resources based on information collected from a user and user associated accounts. The dynamic credential selection and implementation system is triggered by the user signaling the system of a proposed transaction. The system requests updated resource characteristics from resource managers. The user profile, resource characteristics and transaction characteristics are evaluated and ranked by the dynamic credential selection and implementation system before completion of the transaction, which in some embodiments requires user approval of the selected resource.

Abstract: An automatic teller machine (ATM) can operate to send an electronic push request, in various instances, using only an email address to process the push request from a user. The ATM may be configured with customized display software, for example, that allows an end user to operate a touchscreen (or other input mechanism) to enter email addresses for one or more electronic transfer destinations. In various instances, the ATM may also communicate with a back-end server to perform queries on an entered email address and to map the email address to a pre-existing account or a holding account. Thus, a user can effectuate electronic transfers without needing to know, for example, a routing number associated with a destination for the transfer, representing an innovative improvement over previous electronic transfer technology.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide method, system and computer program product for complimentary CRM mobile integration. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for CRM mobile integration includes initially identifying an end user who simultaneously accesses both a CRM application executing in memory of a host computing platform, and also a CRM application agent executing in memory of a mobile computing device that is separate from the host computing platform. The method also includes, thereafter, detecting a request by the end user to access data in the CRM application.
