Abstract: An article of footwear has an upper, an outsole attached to the upper, and a midsole. The outsole includes a ground-engaging surface and an inner surface disposed on opposite sides. The midsole has a footbed and a bottom surface disposed on opposite sides. The bottom surface opposes the inner surface to define a cavity therebetween. The article of footwear also includes a first series of projections extending into the cavity from one of the inner surface and the bottom surface in a first direction toward the other of the inner surface and the bottom surface. The article of footwear also includes a second series of projection extending into the cavity from one of the inner surface and the bottom surface in the first direction toward the other of the inner surface and the bottom surface. The article of footwear also includes a quantity of particulate matter disposed within the cavity.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes a sole structure that has a heel portion with a rear, a lateral side, and a medial side. The article of footwear includes a heel extender that has a rear segment disposed at the rear of the heel portion, a lateral arm disposed at the lateral side of the heel portion, and a medial arm disposed at the medial side of the heel portion. The heel extender has a protuberance that establishes a rearmost extent of the article of footwear. The sole structure has a first hardness and the protuberance has a second hardness greater than the first hardness.

Abstract: A protective member for a graphic transfer assembly includes an interior portion to receive a sole structure of an article of footwear. The protective member may protect the sole structure from heat applied by a graphic transfer assembly. The protective member can also prevent portions of a sole structure from damaging components of a graphic transfer assembly. The protective member can be contoured to improve the seal between deformable membranes of the graphic transfer assembly.

Abstract: A device for the securing of a knotted shoelace with at least one groove for placing the knot, wherein the device is to be secured by the knot and the shoelace on a shoe, and can be positioned between the knot and the shoe. It is intended by way of the device that the shoelace should be simple to tie and, at the same time, fixed securely. The device including at least one cushion made of a soft and elastic plastic, wherein the cushion includes the groove or the contact surface for the shoelace and for the knot.

Abstract: A fabric fastener provided by the invention of the present application exerts a decorative design function due to many variations created by fabric itself. In particular, the fastener can be, according to this fastener, easily handled without damaging the fabric in handling the fabric. Furthermore, the fastener exerting a high fabric looseness prevention effect even after a long-term use is provided. According to an employed configuration, the fabric fastener includes a substantially tubular body having a substantially C-shaped cross section, the substantially tubular body being provided with a slit portion (40) provided at an insertion path (10) for tucking and fixing inserted fabric (100). The substantially tubular body is provided with opening portions (20) and a drawing hole (30). The opening portions (20) have substantially V-shaped or U-shaped constrictions provided on an upper and lower sides in order to guide a finger.

Abstract: Disclosed is a protector for a clip and line used to suspend aquaculture baskets or like equipment in water. In particular, the protector provides a sacrificial element between the clip and the line that is cheap to manufacture and easy to replace. While an application of the present invention is in oyster cultivation, it could equally well be applied to any process involving the line suspension of an article in water.

Abstract: A tangless buckle system for straps for watches, fitness monitors, and other limb-worn devices. In such tangless buckle systems, a buckle with a tooth is provided. In contrast to a traditional buckle, the tooth and the buckle are fixed with respect to one another, i.e., the tooth does not rotate relative to the buckle. As this new buckle design does not include the rotating tang that extends all the way across the buckle loop in a traditional buckle design, the new design may be referred to as a “tangless” buckle. Such buckles may provide a simpler, yet highly secure, mechanism for securing such devices.

Abstract: A hook and eye fastener for securing two pieces of a garment together includes a hook part for mounting on one of the pieces and an eye part for mounting on of the other of the pieces. The eye part comprises a frame having an open mouth defined by a circumferential lip. The lip has a pair of slots formed therein. The hook part comprises a body and arm. The arm comprises an inner portion connected to the body and an outer portion connected to inner portion. A plurality of ribs are provided along the rear surface of the inner portion and a pair of divider walls are provided along the front surface of the inner portion, nestled below the outer portion. The divider walls project forwardly for location in the slots of the lip. The fastener is relatively slim, easy to use, and capable of withstanding high tensile forces.

Abstract: This invention is directed toward a low-profile key ring. The key ring has a split running through a portion of its body creating inner and outer segments along a portion of the plane of the body. The split line may be non-linear creating protrusions and slots running along the length of the split, and interacting mechanically to allow the key ring to remain securely closed when radial forces are applied.

Abstract: Open-ended slide fastener assemblies with improved operability. In some examples, the slide fastener assemblies are watertight and/or airtight. The slide fastener assemblies include one or more sliders and box and pin mechanisms integrated with the slide fastener. The pin mechanism need not be inserted into the box at the same time it is inserted into the slider, permitting the slide fastener to be operated even when it is not visible or easily accessible.

The flexible band wearable electronic device still further includes an electrical communication pathway between first electronic device and the second electronic device and through at least a portion of one of the number of pivot joints.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable device (such as earphones, ear rings, gloves, glasses, or other wearable objects) configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The wearable device has multiple haptic output units and generates, through one of those units, a haptic output based on the directions. This allows the user to receive the directions through touch rather than looking at their mobile device or from audio.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a carry (or carrying) bag is provided that includes an interior, substantially cut-resistant security panel assembly with a matrix of wires secured between or on one or more flexible material layers. Also in various embodiments, the security panel assembly may be positioned intermediate the bag outside wall and a lining of the bag, and in other embodiments, may also take the form of an expansion panel. Second or secondary locking fasteners are also provided to lock first or primary fasteners to or within the carrying bag, to provide security for compartments and pockets. A strap with one or more security cables, and various locking fasteners, may be attached to the carry bag. Methods for forming such security panel assemblies, expansion panels, and carrying straps are also disclosed.

Abstract: A hair coloring apparatus includes a hair-color composition tube, a cap, and an off-scalp brush applicator. The hair-color composition tube, which contains the coloring agent, is enclosed with the cap. The off-scalp brush application is concentrically positioned and adjacently connected with the cap. Generally, the off-scalp brush is positioned within the hair-color composition tube. Once the user is ready to color his or her hair, the cap is removed from the hair-color composition tube allowing the off-scalp brush applicator, which is dipped in the coloring agent, to be utilized with the hair. Insertion and removal of the off-scalp brush applicator into the hair-color composition tube allows the user withdraw and apply additional coloring product as need.

Abstract: The novel detangling innovations disclosed include a detangling device comprising a handle having an upper portion and a lower portion, and a plurality of arced tines. The plurality of arced tines are connected to the lower portion of the handle along a first periphery extending around the lower portion of the handle. The arced tines arc inwardly with respect to a center of the lower portion of the handle. An arced tine comprises an arced flexible member; a base situated at a proximal end of the arced flexible member, and a tip. The base is connected to the lower portion of the handle. The tip is situated at a distal end of the arced flexible member. The arced flexible member has an elongated arced profile between the base and the tip.

The controller is configured to detect an event corresponding to a status or condition of the personal skincare appliance and to set the drive frequency of the motor to a predetermined frequency which causes an auditory tone to be emitted from the personal skincare appliance.

Abstract: A structure of a cosmetic container is disclosed. The cosmetic container mainly has a cosmetic inner material scraping member assembled on a bottle rim of a bottle, a through hole is disposed on the central bottom of a pocket of the cosmetic inner material scraping member, and at least one via hole is disposed on the periphery of the through hole. Therefore, after using a smudge stick, the smudge stick is put back into the bottle via the through hole, and the residue cosmetic inner material is scrapped into the pocket. The scrapped cosmetic inner material can flow back to the bottle through the via hole to avoid being stored in the pocket and thus overflowing out from the pocket. Simultaneously, the come out problem of the cosmetic inner material scraping member after many-time pull out actions can also be solved.

The retaining member(s) of one bag are configured to be adjacent to a retaining member of the other bag when the bags are in the collapsed configuration. A securing member is used to secure adjacent retaining members to keep the bag system in the collapsed configuration.

Abstract: A quick release modular backpack system for rapidly shedding load components generally incorporates an essential load support constructed to be releasably secured to a support surface, such as a person's torso, and further incorporates an auxiliary load bearing module and a quick release mechanism having a first position releasably coupling the auxiliary load module to the essential load support with an actuator constructed to shift the quick release mechanism into a second position with a single motion to completely shed the auxiliary load module from the essential load support while the essential load support is retained on the support surface.

The novel framing system produces a novel design, where the horizontal members are formed with a slatted patterned surface decoration, which is visually evident of the given configuration of said span-aligned-grid.

Abstract: The present invention includes a system for quickly and simply manufacturing semi-custom cabinetry utilizing a hidden pin joining system. The hidden pin joining system allows panels of the cabinet to quickly and securely join together, with significant load bearing ability. The different joining pin designs allow for different ways of discretely joining pieces together to create custom cabinetry during installation. The specially designed drill bits allow the system to work seamlessly. Using CAD/CAM machinery, the drill bits can cut stock pieces that can be taken to installation sites, and formed into custom cabinetry for kitchen, closets, or any other desired shelving units.

The bottom fabric sheet extends inwardly from the periphery of the top fabric sheet to surround a central opening, which the fill layer can be inserted through and then tucked into the pockets. A further backing layer may be connected to the cover layer with non-metallic and non-rigid fasteners such as fabric knot buttons, to cover the central opening. The system hides the appearance of the fill layer when in use, thereby providing a similar appearance to a conventional duvet cover, while still allowing for easy removal and cleaning of the system with industrial laundering equipment or the like.

A distal cross-section area can be unequal to a proximal cross-section area of the handle grip. A weight can be disposed in a cavity defined in the handle grip. The weight can be positionable within the cavity and configured to modify a center of gravity of the handle assembly.

Abstract: A beverage container holder configured so that beverage containers with or without handles such as bottles, cups, mugs, cans, or tumblers can easily be placed in the receiver, that is attached to the extended base. The extended base then slides in between two allowing cushions, such as where the seat and back cushion of a sofa or couch meet, thus facilitating stability for the beverage container and allowing ease of relocation to the user.

Abstract: Attachment mechanisms that enhance and broaden the usefulness of a basic gimbaled beverage container holder are needed. The mechanisms developed are configured to form a rigid attachment to an external object, such as luggage handles; stroller handles; bicycle handles; boat railings; car/truck air vents etc. in order to give the user a sense of stability for the combined unit. Three basic attachment enhancements are added to the outer ring of the gimbaled cup holder. They are: 1) A set of rigid ‘Arms’ (*removable and exchangeable for different size luggage handles) that grab around vertical luggage handles and hold the gimbaled cup holder secure. 2) a ‘Slide’ mechanism on one of the handles that hold the gimbaled cup holder secure to one handled luggage. 3) A ‘T-Bar Clip’ on the outer ring of the gimbaled cup holder that securely locks a variety of attachment devices (*such as a vertical and horizontal bar attachment mechanisms; a car/truck air vent attachment mechanisms, etc.
