Abstract: A sound absorbing rebounding device provides a way for a person to practice dribbling a basketball while minimizing sounds and vibrations emanating from the basketball and the device during such practice. The device has a frame, a rebounding surface that mimics or replaces the hard surface on which a user would normally dribble to cause a rebounding effect, and a base to separate or space the rebounding surface from the floor, so that sounds and vibrations during bouncing of the basketball are not transferred to the surface on which the device is resting. The frame shape allows the user to practice dribbling in all different directions around the user's body placed relative to the user's legs, such as a T, an H, or the number 8. The device may be collapsible via hinges placed within its frame that allow the device to be collapsed in varying degrees of compactness.

Abstract: The diagnosed soft tissue or brain injury component of concussions is generally defined by the symptoms of the temporal lobe manifestations. However, there is an undiagnosed structural fractured component of concussions occurring within the jaw joint complex which is the focus of this invention. A precise imaging technique and the powerful 3D Cone beam scanning technology, together, have revealed fractures in temporal bones of the jaw joint space which supports the temporal lobe of the brain. These fractures are the results of the lower jaw impact forces that cause concussions and this mechanism account for a large percent of the concussions arising in sports and military operations. These fractures have never been considered, diagnosed, or treated in the management of concussions. Fracturing temporal bones in the jaw joint that supports the temporal lobe will certainly produce the symptoms of temporal lobe manifestations.

In addition, chance is used to make the outcome less predictable and more fun for players of all skill levels. The game apparatus includes a larger number of board spaces, a large number of letter tiles, and chance components (multiplier, bonus word, swap card and swap tiles chance types). The method of play uses a large number of letter tiles per player hand, and the ability to exchange letter tiles at the end of each turn. The basis of the word points is the word length which rewards large word formation. The multiplier chance types amplify the impact of forming large words on the player score, with multiplier values as high as 10 and as low as ?10, distributed so lesser skilled players can win more often.

Abstract: A non-limiting example game system includes a plurality of terminal apparatuses operated by a plurality of players, and connect to a network. The computer system creates a virtual lobby that allows up to a predetermined number of players to participate therein, and sets a player who operates one of the terminal apparatuses as a player who is virtually present in the lobby in response to a request from that terminal apparatus. The game system also automatically selects one from a plurality of games including at least games requiring different numbers of participant players, according to the number of players who are present in the lobby and are not playing a game and are ready to play, and automatically selects participant players in the selected game from the players ready to play.

Abstract: A sensor acquisition and analytics platform for enhancing interaction with adult devices. More specifically, the integration of social networking and gamification (i.e., adding game-like features to the interactions between adult devices and the user(s)) frameworks towards enhancing user interactions and joint activities surrounding adult devices, services, and/or content is introduced. Additionally, analytics and learning intelligence (in the form of adaptive learning or behavioral pattern prediction) may be implemented (either as part of the framework or separately), which serves to discover appropriate connections, mappings, or associations between adult device characteristics/settings and measured sensor information (including user biometrics, forces, pressure, motion, etc.).

Abstract: In order to achieve the object, disclosed is a dart game apparatus for recording a moving picture of a part during a dart game. The dart game apparatus includes: a camera unit for recording the dart game; a touch unit for sensing that a dart game player is ready for throwing a dart; and a controller for controlling the camera unit, wherein the controller allows the camera unit to start recording at the time when the touch unit senses that the dart game player is ready for throwing the dart. An object of the present invention is to store or transmit only small-capacity data by recording only a part of a dart game or selecting and storing or transmitting only a part of an image of an entire dart game to reduce a burden in storing and transmitting data and remarkably reduce a time for verifying the data.

Abstract: A self-sealing balloon comprising a tubular balloon neck segment extending from an opening of a balloon gas retaining expansion cavity. A bead of moldable adhesive material is applied in a ring about an interior circumference of a neck portion of the balloon forming a dispensed adhesive roll. The dispensed adhesive roll is at least partially encapsulated within an adhesive staging segment. The adhesive staging segment can be encased within a rolled lip bead by any suitable process. The rolling process aids in forming the ring-shaped adhesive. In use, the balloon would be inflated. The lip bead would be unrolled, exposing the adhesive ring. The moldable adhesive would be compressed forming a seal, entrapping pressurized air within the balloon gas retaining expansion cavity. This provides a low cost, simple self-sealing solution for a balloon.
