Abstract: A pipe coupling comprising an elastomeric sleeve, a support sleeve and adjustable clamping bands is provided. Each band has adjustment means comprising a bolt allowing the bands to provide a secure fit on the ends of the pipes to be coupled. The support sleeve comprises contact sections at either end and a compensation section therebetween. The first contact section of the support sleeve is for fitting around a larger pipe than the second contact section. The second contact portion and the compensation section are comprised of fingers of sheet material defined by axial slots therebetween. The elastomeric sleeve comprises a substantially tubular body and end sections provided at each end of the body. The end sections can be folded back over the outer surface of the body to provide circumferential flaps. Each flap defines a partially enclosed channel within which the contact sections of the support sleeve are provided.

An LED light source, which is arranged inside a light guide space, emits light with a light emitting face thereof directing toward the light guide space. Accordingly, light from the LED light source is uniformly emitted from a light extraction portion. Also, an LED light source arranged inside a light guide space emits light directing toward the light guide space. Accordingly, light from the LED light source is uniformly emitted from a light extraction portion.

Abstract: A wavelength conversion element includes a support member having a supporting surface, and a wavelength converter disposed above the supporting surface. The wavelength converter contains first fluorescent particles which absorb excitation light and generate fluorescence (second radiation light), and a transparent binder which bonds the first fluorescent particles, and has a joint surface facing supporting surface, and an incident surface disposed opposite to the joint surface, the excitation light entering the incident surface. The excitation light and fluorescence are emitted from the incident surface. The wavelength converter includes projections. At least part of the projections is disposed on the incident surface. The first fluorescent particles are partially exposed from vertices of the projections.

Abstract: An illumination module holding device for positioning and holding an illumination module against a base surface includes first and second housing parts. The first housing part has a positioning window, into which the illumination module is loosely inserted. Using fastening means, the first housing part is put on the base surface and determines the position of the illumination module. The second housing part has electrical connection sockets on it into each of which an electric line can be inserted and electrically and mechanically connected with a contact part associated with each of them, without using tools. Each contact part has a spring tongue. Making a latching connection between the two housing parts causes each of the spring tongues to come in contact with an associated contact surface on the illumination module, creating an electrical connection, and simultaneously exerts on the illumination module a compressive force against the base surface.

Abstract: A lighting cove apparatus including a lighting cove and a lighting module. The lighting cove includes a horizontal arm and a first and a second vertical leg attached to opposite ends of the horizontal arm. The first vertical leg and the second vertical leg each include a shoulder on an inside face. The lighting module includes a body and a plurality of retractable latches having downward facing points which retract into the body. When the lighting module is inserted into the lighting cove between the first vertical leg and the second vertical leg, the shoulders on the first vertical leg and the second vertical leg press on the retractable latches such that the retractable latches retract and the lighting module can pass the shoulders. When the lighting module passes the shoulders the retractable latches re-extend and prevent the lighting module from being removed from the lighting cove.
