Abstract: A mascara application system includes two brushes on arms or wands. A manufacturing approach is included. Wands are biased together, requiring force to separate brushes to place brushes on opposite sides (surfaces, top and bottom) of an eyelash. Upon release of the force brushes remain in contact with no affirmative force required to keep them together. During application of mascara, a user's fingers remain free to manipulate the position and movement of the brushes by holding, rolling, drawing, or otherwise controlling the handle to which the wands anchor. Brushes may be the same or different sizes, on simple, cantilevered arms or in a crossed (reverse tweezers) configuration. A reservoir of mascara product may receive, and seal by means of engaging, the applicator without relative rotation.

One method includes providing a control system having at least a processor and a computer-readable memory, wherein the memory contains software configured to receive a formula defining instructions for blending a hair dye mixture using one or more colorants and/or dye blending materials and amounts recommended for the hair dye mixture. The method further includes presenting a plurality of batch sizing adjustment criteria on a display; and receiving user input, via a user input device, selecting one or more of the plurality of batch sizing adjustment criteria. The batch sizing adjustment criteria includes service characteristics.

Abstract: A sporting weapon backpack includes a folding protective cover that is sized to protect the majority of a sporting weapon, at least one bag compartment attached to the exterior surface of the second side of the folding protective cover, at least one temporary fastener attached to the peripheral edge of both sides of the folding protective cover, where the at least one temporary fastener is adapted to temporarily fasten one peripheral edge of the folding protective cover to the other peripheral edge of the folding protective cover. The backpack also includes a pouch attached near the bottom of the interior surface of at least one side of the folding protective cover, and at least one strap that is adapted to support the sporting weapon, where the sporting weapon may be supported and the at least one temporary fastener may be used to close the folding protective cover over the sporting weapon to securely hold and transport the sporting weapon.

The improved load adjustment system allows for quick adjustment while wearing the backpack and increased freedom of movement.

Further, an ejection mechanism is housed in the roller body and is used to disengage the handle from the roller body. An engagement shaft of the handle is positioned into a receiving volume of the hairbrush roller. A plurality of lateral extrusions of the engagement shaft is slotted into a plurality of lateral channels of the receiving volume, wherein the handle is unable to rotate within the roller body. The handle includes a gripping shaft below the engagement shaft for holding the handle. Furthermore, a locking mechanism is integrated into the gripping shaft and the engagement shaft, wherein the locking mechanism secures the handle to the hairbrush roller.

The workstation is further designed to be in electrical and data communication with other workstations to optimize the workstation density in an open working environment without compromising user privacy.

Abstract: Described is a checkout station that includes a hanger hook coupled to a platform. The hanger hook is used to hang empty clothes hangers on, so the hangers can be collected and held in one location until they are re-used or disposed of. The hanger hook can be a U-shaped elongate member with a curved bottom piece, a first side, and a second side. The first side and the second side are each coupled to the bottom piece to form the “U” shape. The first side couples to the register stand, and hangers are hung from the second side. Having the hanger hook at the checkout station makes it easy for employees and customers to hang empty hangers on the hanger hook so the hangers are collected and do not end up on the floor or cluttering the work spaces of the checkout station.
