Abstract: Safety apparel for traversing a roof surface includes an outer fabric surface over which a readily abradable pattern of raised elastomeric members is applied. The apparel is sized and configured to fit over worn clothing such as blue jeans, permit the easy passing through of worn shoes, and includes cinching members to snug the apparel over the worn clothing. Interior surfaces of the apparel may also include an applied pattern of raised elastomeric members.

Abstract: A smart safety garment with signal lights includes a basic garment, at least a pair of turn signal lights embedded on the external surface of the basic garment, and an electronic assembly for the control. The management and monitoring of the smart safety garment includes a control unit, the at least a pair of turn signal lights being connected or connectable to the control unit. The electronic assembly further includes a braking sensor connected or connectable to the control unit and adapted to perceive a deceleration and to generate a corresponding braking signal intended to the control unit. The control unit is configured to power up at least a pair of turn signal lights according to the braking signal.

Abstract: A lower body garment, used primarily for athletic and fitness activities, is disclosed as capable of attaching a plurality of sleeves for stylization and customization. The lower body garment includes an upper opening, and two lower openings, and can contain an attachment mechanism circumscribed about each opening. A detachable sleeve with an attachment mechanism that is circumscribed about an opening thereof and configured to mate with an attachment mechanism located on the lower body garment provides for the attachment of the sleeve to the garment. A plurality of sleeves can also be attached in a chain like manner through attachment mechanisms circumscribed about the upper and lower opening of each sleeve. In this manner, the wearer can customize the look and style of the lower body garment by varying the types of sleeves attached.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a convertible jacket and, in particular, to a convertible jacket that is convertible between a wearable configuration to a tent configuration. The convertible jacket can include a body having one or more panels, sleeves attached to the body about sleeve openings, an inflatable air channel for providing a frame for the convertible jacket in a tent configuration, a fastening means for securing the air channel to the body, a base, and a means for securing the base to a bottom edge of the body. Methods are also provided for converting the convertible jacket from a wearable configuration to a tent configuration.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a convertible jacket and, in particular, to a convertible jacket that is convertible between a wearable configuration to a tent configuration. The convertible jacket can include a body having one or more panels, sleeves attached to the body about sleeve openings, an inflatable air channel for providing a frame for the convertible jacket in a tent configuration, a fastening means for securing the air channel to the body, a base, and a means for securing the base to a bottom edge of the body. Methods are also provided for converting the convertible jacket from a wearable configuration to a tent configuration.

Abstract: A hand warmer assembly and method of using the same. The hand-warmer assembly may include a portable hand-warmer, a pocket, closure mechanism, and a connector. The pocket may be made from an air permeable material and have an opening at one end, with the pocket closed at all other sides. The pocket is provided to be sized and shaped to position a portable hand warmer therein. The opening may be secured with a closure mechanism, such as a flap, zipper, drawstring, hook and loop material such as Velcro® fastener, and/or a magnetic fastener. The connector may include a strap and a clasp, with the strap first end located and connected adjacent the open end of the pocket. A second end of the strap may be coupled to a clasp that is configured to be secured to a sleeve or other clothing material such as a mitten or glove.

Abstract: Microcapsules or macrocapsules have a core composition that includes a phase changing material (PCM) encapsulated within a polymer wall with an outer shell having a siloxane tethered to an exterior surface of the polymer wall by a surfactant. The siloxane may form a crystalline or a sol-gel outer shell. Methods of making such capsules and textile fabrics and clothing incorporating such capsules include treating pre-formed capsules with a surfactant solution followed by treating with a compound containing a siloxane functional group. The surfactant connects or tethers the siloxane to the exterior surface of the polymer wall and the siloxane forms an outer shell of the capsules.

Abstract: A health suit for improving sweating and tanning in various weather conditions includes a transparent material that is configured to allow ultraviolet rays and infrared energy to pass through the material and penetrate the skin with minimal deflection or absorption by the material. The health suit may also include an anti-fog layer or other set of anti-fogging features, moisture absorbing material, and a heat retention feature to improve sweating and tanning in various weather conditions.

The band, once the hook and clasp are disengaged, is flexible and may be stored, for future use, in a purse, pocketbook, pocket, or luggage.

Abstract: Clusters of artificial lashes are initially formed using, for example, a hot melt method in which artificial hairs secured to one another following exposure to a heat source. Multiple lash fusions can be arranged proximate to one another to form a set. In some embodiments, the multiple lash fusions are positioned such that the form of the set matches the curvature of the tightline of an eyelid. The spray-on fabric is sprayed onto the surfaces of the last and allowed to cure to form a flexible, non-woven fabric upper. The upper can be removed from the last and turned inside out. The cover also includes a plurality of recesses formed in at least one interior side surface of the elastomeric cover. The plurality of recesses soften the elastomeric cover in the selected area by reducing an average density of the elastomeric cover in the selected area of the elastomeric cover.

The bag accessory is a hanger or clip with a magnet on one side and an embellishment on the other, wherein the magnet is used to retain keys, a cell phone, and other personal items. The invention also discloses a method of adhering a metal accessory to a cell phone case or other personal item so that items will adhere to the magnet.
