    Abstract: A window fastener includes a forced-entry-resistant sash lock and tilt latch assembly. The sash lock is actuated to engage a keeper to lock the closed sash window. The tilt latch assembly permits sliding of the unlocked window, and prevents tilting until the tilt latch assembly is actuated by the interconnected sash lock. The sash lock and tilt latch assembly cooperate with a stop member secured to a master window frame, to limit opening of the window to a position between the closed position and a full open position, through contact of the latch assembly with a portion of the stop member. The sash lock is configured to actuate the latch assembly into a cocked position, permitting window movement beyond the limited position, and selective contact between the latch assembly and stop member that triggers latch assembly repositioning, causing automatic locking of the sash window when moved into the closed position.

    Abstract: A latch assembly for a vehicular latching system configured to provide an anti-chucking locking function in cooperation with a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism has a ratchet that is moveable by a striker between a striker release position, a striker capture position, and a striker over-travel position. A pawl is operable in a ratchet holding position to hold the ratchet when the ratchet is in the striker capture position and operable in a ratchet releasing position to release the ratchet to allow the ratchet to return to its striker release position. A latch release mechanism operates to move the pawl between its ratchet holding and ratchet releasing positions. The anti-chuck locking function is provided by the pawl having a lock tooth and the ratchet having a lock notch for locking engagement therebetween when the pawl holds the ratchet in its striker capture position for muting vibrations of the latch assembly.

    Abstract: The “Breeze screen” invention concept is designed to serve as a simulated natural “breeze gate” to keep garages cool and clean when they are opened. The mesh “breeze gate” feature serves to keep garbage and debris out of the inside garage space, while allowing the natural outdoor air ventilation in to keep the garage cool. It attaches to the existing garage door and can be “dropped down” and locked in place for security with its use. It functions by the design of a fine mesh panel or “screen” network, made of either metal, aluminum, plastic or other fabric of manufacturer's choice to allow airflow through the fine “air holes” that make up the “breeze gate” or “breeze screen” concept.     Abstract: A subsurface hydrocarbon reservoir with horizontal wells is simulated by sequential solution of reservoir and well equations to simulate fluid flow inside the reservoir and well production rates.
