  • Patent number: 10151756
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to therapeutic methods and medical uses comprising the identification and use of cancer marker surrogates for increased polyamine expression. These markers may be used to identify patients who may be treated for diseases and disorders that are susceptible to polyamine synthesis inhibitors, and they can also be used to monitor therapeutic responses when such agents are used. More specifically, reduced levels of let-7 miRNA and elevated levels of LIN28 and HMGA2 proteins were found to correlate with elevated levels of polyamines and may be used for predicting the efficacy of cancer therapy using an ornithine decarboxylase (ODC1) inhibitor such as eflornithine (DFMO), suitably in combination with an NSAID such as sulindac.

  • Patent number: 10151772
Abstract: A hot wire anemometer circuit has a calibrate subcircuit and an operate subcircuit which are selectively invoked via a user-activate mode switch. The calibrate subcircuit includes a detector configured to compare an amplified sensor voltage with an amplified drive voltage and output an indicator signal when the two voltages match. The drive voltage is derived from a user-adjusted drive resistance of a bridge subcircuit. The operate circuit includes a feedback loop which provides a signal to a bride node of a bridge circuit. After a sensor is connected to the anemometer circuit, the drive resistance is adjusted until the indicator signal is produced, signifying that the circuit is tuned and impedances are matched to prevent oscillations. A slewing network protects the sensor by shorting the drive resistance upon switching the anemometer circuit to the calibrate mode from the operate mode, and gradually restoring the drive resistance when switching back.

Abstract: In order to measure a choke current through a choke, a flux density of a magnetic field which is emitted by the choke is consecutively measured at a sampling rate at a location which is fixed in relation to the choke. A magnetic bias of the choke is ascertained from the measurement values of the flux density at a known choke current which occurs during operation of the choke, wherein the choke current is known only in longer time intervals than the inverse value of the sampling rate during measurement of the flux density. The actual choke current is determined from the actual measurement values of the flux density taking into account the ascertained magnetic bias.

  • Patent number: 10151791
Abstract: A mixed signal testing system capable of testing differently configured units under test (UUT) includes a controller, a test station and an interface system that support multiple UUTs. The test station includes independent sets of channels configured to send signals to and receive signals from each UUT being tested and signal processing subsystems that direct stimulus signals to a respective set of channels and receive signals in response thereto. The signal processing subsystems enable simultaneous and independent directing of stimulus signals through the sets of channels to each UUT and reception of signals from each UUT in response to the stimulus signals. Received signals responsive to stimulus signals provided to a fully functional UUT (with and without induced faults) are used to assess presence or absence of faults in the UUT being tested which may be determined to include one or more faults or be fault-free, i.e., fully functional.

  • Patent number: 10151793
Abstract: The invention relates to a tester apparatus of the kind including a portable supporting structure for removably holding and testing a substrate carrying a microelectronic circuit. An interface on the stationary structure is connected to the first interface when the portable structure is held by the stationary structure and is disconnected from the first interface when the portable supporting structure is removed from the stationary structure. An electrical tester is connected through the interfaces so that signals may be transmitted between the electrical tester and the microelectronic circuit to test the microelectronic circuit.

  • Patent number: 10151794
Abstract: Invention achieves reduced amount of terminals to control a test mode, test function and test results of a given standard for at least one “wrapped core” (40,100) (a core 100 surrounded by a wrapper boundary register (40) as “wrapper chain”). Test flexibility and speed of testing the core (100) are also improved. Suggested serial test interface comprises a state machine (210) and an instruction register (213) for wrapper-instructions, supplied through a single physical data input terminal (1a). The state machine (210) reads wrapper-instructions held by the instruction register (213) and generates on-chip wrapper control signals (30) of the given standard for the wrapper boundary register (40) of the core (100). At least one wrapper-instruction read from the Instruction Register (213) provides at least one wrapper control signal (30). The single input terminal (1a) also supplies an input test signal SDI for coupling to the wrapper boundary register (40) as on chip logical input test signal WSI.

  • Patent number: 10151795
Abstract: A device test architecture and a reduced device test interface are provided to enable efficient testing of embedded cores and other circuits within devices. The reduced device test interface is achieved using a double data rate (DDR) signaling technique between the tester and the device. The DDR test interface allows the tester to interface to test circuits within the device, such as IEEE 1500 and/or IEEE 1149.1 test circuits, to provide high test data bandwidth to the test circuits using a minimum of test interface signals. The test architecture includes compare circuits that allow for comparison of test response data to be performed within the device. The test architecture further includes a memory for storing the results of the test response comparisons. The test architecture includes a programmable test controller to allow for various test control operations by simply inputting an instruction to the programmable test controller from the external tester.
