Abstract: The present invention generally relates to lightweight, portable robot for analyzing golf balls for short game performance attributes. The preferred robot is specifically designed to be lightweight and portable and to be able to hit a golf ball off of the ground or a mat that simulates the ground such that realistic short game performance can be evaluated.

Abstract: An interchangeable sports training apparatus for training user's how to kick sports balls. The apparatus includes a base including a mounting bracket for mounting the base onto a surface. A height-adjustable support arm affixed to the base includes a swivel rotatably coupled thereto, such that the swivel is configured to rotate 360 degrees about the support arm. A swing arm coupled to the swivel includes a quick-release mechanism configured to releasably engage a sports ball retaining bracket and a first fastener. A height-adjustable return arm includes a second fastener configured to releasably engage the first fastener of the swing arm, in order to hold the training apparatus in a ready position for kicking, and includes a return member configured to stop rotation of the swing arm and return the swing arm to the ready position.

Abstract: The telescopic device for towing a board for board sports includes a base mounted on the board; and a skid with an in-use position positioned spaced apart from the base, and an out-of-use position positioned close to the base. There is a mechanism for mounting the skid so as to slide relative to the base between the in-use position and the out-of-use position and mechanism for retaining the skid in the in-use position, that includes part of the skid and an additional retaining device that is part of the mechanism for mounting the skid. The mechanism for retaining has an active position for holding the skid in the in-use position. The active position is intended for a movement stress, which is exerted on the skid in the direction of the out-of-use position. There is an inactive retaining position intended for a stress that is greater than a predetermined stress.

A method for assembling a storage device includes securing first and second tubular members to a frame, looping an elastic cord around the first tubular member, and inserting an enlarged body into a keyhole of the second tubular member. In alternative example, each end of the elastic cord includes an enlarged body and each end of the elastic cord is positioned in a keyhole. In another alternative example, the first tubular member is fed through the loop of each elastic cord.

Abstract: The present invention is a pocket assembly to receive game balls for a billiard sports table where the rail piece is relatively resistant to very long term wear and a ball receiving piece is very rugged, but is relatively low cost and easily replaceable. In the present invention, the rail piece is preferably of cast steel, aluminum, brass or other long wearing metal and is adapted to be fixed to an opening in a billiard table rail.

Abstract: A system, device and method for determining the position of objects comprising one or more furniture items and/or building structures having one or more sensors and a controller coupled to the sensors. The sensors detect when one or more objects having at least one sensor tag are positioned proximate one of the sensors and transmit a signal to the controller including an identifier of the object and the sensor that detected the objects. As a result, the controller is able to track the position of the objects in relation to the furniture and/or building structures preventing the items from being lost and increasing efficiency when looking for misplaced objects.

Abstract: A printing method or system for making a security-enhanced scratch-off document and the document so made are disclosed. The security-enhanced document includes a substrate, variable indicia, at least one other printed portion having background noise, and a scratch-off-coating layer applied over the variable indicia to maintain the variable indicia unreadable until the scratch-off-coating is removed by being scratched off. The variable indicia includes ink having a signal-to-noise ratio relative to the background ink noise of the document's at least one other printed portion, such that the variable indicia are unreadable with reference to the at least one other printed portion when the scratch-off-coating remains intact. Additionally, digitally imaging countermeasures to unassisted and assisted mechanical SOC lift are also disclosed. These methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the ticket as well as potentially reduce the time and setup costs between print runs.

Abstract: A table game multiplier system and method expands the play of a craps table by allowing a player to wager on a live-action craps table game being played at a table in a system operator, such as a casino or other suitable establishment, without requiring the person to be physically present at the craps table. The system allows the live-action craps table game to be virtually tiered or duplicated, thereby allowing a set of additional players to wager on a craps table identical to the one being played at a particular system operator. The additional players may connect to the table game multiplier system via an electronic telecommunication device such as, but not limited to, a smartphone, a tablet computer, or a personal computer, which may communicate with the system operator to allow the electronic placing of wagers on the tiered craps table.

An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a system including a virtual world commodity device including a housing and a memory. Furthermore, the system includes a product unique identifier stored in the memory of the virtual world commodity device. The virtual world commodity device is enabled to communicate with a virtual world environment to provide the product unique identifier and the virtual world environment provides a globally unique identifier to be stored in the memory of the virtual world commodity device.

In each of a plurality of games executed by the game apparatus, by using the earned coins, a special item is purchased, playing in a special course is permitted, a hint is displayed, and a game is played in fast-forward.

Abstract: A hand-held controller includes a handle extending in a longitudinal direction. The handle is shaped and dimensioned to be grasped by a user's hand. A trigger protrudes from an outer surface of the handle and moves relative to the handle responsive to pressing of the trigger by a finger of the user's hand. The trigger includes a touch surface that comes into contact with the finger of the user's hand to detect sliding of the finger of the user's hand on the touch surface.

Abstract: A removable joystick for use with a video game controller includes a base shaft that is coupled to a joystick unit in the housing of the video game controller so that the proximal end of the base shaft extends to a location at or below an outer surface of the housing. A top shaft assembly is removably coupleable to the base shaft. The top shaft assembly includes a top shaft with a proximal end that removably couples to a joystick ball. The top shaft assembly also includes a collar that is spring loaded and movably coupled to the top shaft and has a flange that extends outward from the outer surface of the collar. The top shaft assembly removably couples to the base shaft via a quick disconnect assembly. When the top shaft assembly is disconnected from the base shaft, the flange of the collar engages and retains a dust cover disposed over the collar to inhibit misplacement or loss of the dust cover.

At least one collection duct is secured to an inner face of the at least one sidewall for collecting pure water condensate. A vacuum pump is in communication with the open interior region of the solar still through a vacuum port for selectively lowering the pressure within the open interior region of the solar still. The solar still is suspended above a linear Fresnel reflector array such that the absorber base is positioned at a focal point thereof.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for providing nutrient removals in an up flow filtration storm water system for treating water to very high clean levels using filtration media. A filtration media supported by a screen above an angled floor in a vault allows for incoming storm water to pass into a void space above the angled floor into the screen and filtration media and then out an outlet to the vault. The filtration media can include recyclable and/or natural particles. Layers of river rocks can be placed on top of and below the filtration media. Water sprayers can further liquefy sediment and debris that fills the void space between the angled floor and the bottom of the screen. The captured debris can slide down the angled floor, where a vacuum hose from an above ground vacuum truck can remove the debris and sediment. The long lasting filtration media can be cleaned by being backwashed.

The dust collector comprises a collector body having a dust collection tube, a dust collection barrel, a filter barrel which comprises a filter net and an air conduit with one end connected to the inner portion of the filter barrel and another end formed into an air outlet adaptor, a dust clean device and an air suction unit which drives the air with particulate dust to pass the filter net and a cover used to either close or open the air outlet adaptor. When the particulate dust has been accumulated on the filter net more than a preset volume, the dust collector will start to operate its clean maintenance process. The cover will be uncovered from the air outlet adaptor and one end of the dust collection tube will be fixed onto the air outlet adaptor.
