  • Patent number: 10208415
Abstract: A method of fabricating pattern composite fabric pieces by an automatic pattern fabric article piece processing machine is described. A composite fabric sheet is fed in the processing machine onto a conveyor having a permeable belt under which is provided a vacuum chamber to retain the fabric sheet stationary while a laser cutter effects a programmed job function. The machine forms seam allowance flaps for the composite fabric pattern piece. A stitching or ultrasonic bonding machine also forms seams. In a further stage, printed matter may be applied to the allowance flaps. Glue may also be applied to the flaps and labels to some of the pattern fabric pieces. By interconnecting the seam allowance flaps of different fabric pieces, in a specific order, a fabric material article is produced.

Abstract: A bucket for an implement system includes a bucket body, and a first tooth mounting member and a second tooth mounting member forming first and second corners of the bucket body. The first and second tooth mounting members may be identical to one another, and are each bilaterally symmetrical. A flared shape of a longitudinal fin of each of the tooth mounting members enables abutment against a side wall of a bucket at a plurality of orientations, enabling tooth mounting members of the same design to be used at opposite corners of the bucket for positioning digging teeth at kicked-out orientations.

  • Patent number: 10208453
Abstract: A method for monitoring a work zone in a worksite is disclosed. The work zone includes an overburden region, a dump region having an incline of positive slope, and an initial pivot point at a junction of the overburden region and the incline. The method includes monitoring, by a controller, an elevation of the work zone based on an elevation data received from one or more sensors. Further, the method comprises detecting, by the controller, a location in the work zone having an elevation lower than an elevation of the initial pivot point based on the elevation data. Furthermore, the method comprises updating, by the controller, the detected location as a new pivot point if the detected location is within a predetermined distance from the initial pivot point.

  • Patent number: 10208454
Abstract: Apparatus for removing sludge from an underwater deposit comprises a blade having a cutting edge that points forwards and a blade surface to the rear of the cutting edge that faces the interior of a housing. Nozzles are positioned and oriented to direct jets of water onto the blade surface to fluidize sludge that has been cut by the blade. The jets have a component of motion in the rearward direction relative to the blade surface, whereby the fluidized sludge is effectively contained within the housing and high collection rates can be achieved. The apparatus can be adapted for horizontal use over the surface of a sludge deposit or for movement in any direction through a bulk sludge deposit.

  • Patent number: 10208455
Abstract: A hydraulic system is adapted to provide at least one of a fluid flow at a variable fluid pressure or a fluid flow at a variable fluid displacement. A pressure sensor measures a fluid pressure. A controller is in communication with the engine and the pressure sensor. Wherein, the controller sends an engine speed signal to operate the engine in an open state and controls the fluid displacement or the fluid pressure of the hydraulic system to a first load condition. Further wherein, the controller detects an engine speed and a fluid pressure of the hydraulic system with the pressure sensor when the engine is in the open state and the hydraulic system is in the first load condition. Further wherein, the controller operably calculates a total engine torque as a function of the detected engine speed and fluid pressure when the hydraulic system is in the first load condition.

  • Patent number: 10208462
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for harvesting water from precipitation while limiting loss due to evaporation and sublimation. In one implementation, precipitation is received on a collection surface through an opening during a precipitation event. The received precipitation is sealed on the collection surface from an outside atmosphere using at least one cover assembly in response to a triggering event concluding the receipt of the precipitation. The at least one cover assembly includes a take-up assembly adapted to extend a cover from a first cross bar to a second cross bar over at least a portion of the opening. Water harvested from the sealed precipitation is directed to a water storage device. Other implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for remote monitoring and management of water collection devices.
