  • Patent number: 10213790
Abstract: A method for processing ash from waste incineration plants by wet classification includes mixing the ash with a liquid in a mixing hopper. After screening, the mixture is fed to a first classifying stage, including an upflow classifier and an upstream hydrocyclone, where it is separated into a good fraction and a residual fraction. The residual fraction is drawn off as a suspension on an upper side of a fluidized bed of the upflow classifier. The good fraction is drawn off on an underside of the fluidized bed. A pass through fraction is fed back into the hydrocyclone installation and a material flow containing particles which are smaller than a separation particle size is separated as cyclone overflow. The cyclone overflow is separated in a second classifying stage into a fine particle mineral fraction and a residue which has a grain size upper limit between 20 ?m and 50 ?m.

  • Patent number: 10213795
Abstract: A nozzle for a fluid dispenser configured to dispense fluid includes a nozzle body and a valve stem that has a valve tip and is movable in an upstream direction and a downstream direction. The nozzle also includes an annular valve seat that is configured to contact the valve tip when the valve stem moves in the downstream direction, and a resilient annular portion that extends from the nozzle body and is adjacent to the annular valve seat. As the valve stem moves in the downstream direction, the resilient annular portion contacts the valve tip, flexes radially outwards, and thereby forms a sealing engagement with the valve tip, to avoid undesirable additional dispensed volumes that may be caused if the valve tip recoils away from the valve seat following initial contact of these elements.

  • Patent number: 10213797
Abstract: A electrostatic powder feeder includes a body having a cavity. The cavity is shaped and sized to hold a supply of powder particles and is defined by a cavity wall. A diverter is disposed in the cavity and positioned away from the cavity wall so as to create a powder flow space between the diverter and cavity wall. The feeder includes an electrode and a powder landing surface connected to a power supply. The electrode is positioned remotely from the powder landing surface at a distance at which it can act upon powder resting upon the powder landing surface. An aperture through which powder particles may fall is disposed in or proximate to the powder landing surface. An insulator is positioned between the electrode and the powder landing surface. The power supply produces an alternating electric potential that creates an alternating electric field between the electrode and powder landing surface that causes powder particles to oscillate and eventually fall through the aperture.

The controller is also configured to drive the motor output shaft in an opposite, second rotational direction to thereby return the extensible member until the home position is detected by the first sensor.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cylindrical ring member includes a step of forming a metal intermediate material having a cylindrical portion and a chamfering step by cold forging in which a normal chamfer portion is formed on an axial end peripheral edge of the cylindrical portion by pressing a radial end portion of an axial end surface of the cylindrical portion against an annular chamfering surface provided in a mold configuring a mold device. A chamfering step is performed by cold forging in a state where a preliminary chamfer portion, of which a width dimension in a radial direction is larger than a width dimension of the normal chamfer portion in a radial direction, is formed on the axial end peripheral edge of the cylindrical portion.
