  • Patent number: 10232202
Abstract: An automatic stovetop fire suppressor with suppressor activation triggering an audible alert of a fire condition and method are provided herein. A plastic bottom lid is secured to a bottom of a can, forming a closed container. A fire suppressing agent and a sound board are housed within the closed container. As the fire suppressor actuator is triggered, the bottom lid lowers releasing the fire suppressing agent and tripping a sound board alert switch. A microcontroller generates a desired fire condition signal which is played across a low voltage magnetic transducer. The suppressor is user friendly, provides an automated release of fire suppressing agent in the presence of a stovetop fire, and emits a continuing audible alert signal until a user disables the same. The fire suppressing agent and battery powered sound board are stored in the closed from manufactured end to activation of the suppressor in a fire condition.

  • Patent number: 10232218
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device which enables a selective therapeutic exercise regimen by providing a tensioning mechanism attached to a rotatable platform along with the unique feature is where two trollies on curved rails operating on X-axis and Y-axis when pressure is applied, will work in unison to travel in any desired direction creating a unique spherically rotational reaction. The platform will react to changes in the operator's weight shifts and center of gravity placed upon it. When this novel multi-rotational aspect of the platform responds to subtle changes in the operator's center of gravity, movement of the platform will occur. These changes trigger muscular contractions around the joints of the operator responding to the rotation of the platform while the tensioning mechanism allows for selective resistance to the free movement of the platform enabling selective exercise and therapy routines for various muscle groups.

  • Patent number: 10232237
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for determining a range on a golf course are disclosed. Methods may utilize infrared imaging to assist in determining a range. An infrared image (e.g., a thermal image) of a portion of a golf course that includes a flagstick is captured. The flagstick includes a thermal target. The thermal target of the flagstick is detected based on the infrared image. A light is emitted to the flagstick based on the detected thermal target. The light reflected from the flagstick is detected. A distance to the flagstick is calculated based on the detected light and the distance is provided. An apparatus for performing the methods may be a thermal-assisted rangefinder that includes an infrared imaging module, a light source, a light detector, a visible light optical device, and a processor. The visible light optical device may include a lens, a display, and/or a visible light camera.

Abstract: A disc golf game system which utilizes lighted targets to play a new and unique disc golf game during daytime or nighttime. The disc golf game system generally includes a plurality of targets arranged to form a disc golf course. Each of the targets includes a pole which is positioned upright on a ground surface, such as by a base. Each target includes one or more holes formed along its length; with the number of holes present on each target identifying the order in which the targets are to be played on the disc golf course. Each target may include a light source adapted to illuminate the one or more holes so that the targets can be easily identified in low-light conditions. Also disclosed is a method of playing a disc golf game utilizing the targets.

  • Patent number: 10232244
Abstract: A measuring device for a pedal plane angle of a bicycle includes a pedal body, an angle sensing unit and a central processing unit (CPU). The angle sensing unit is disposed in an accommodating chamber of the pedal body, and senses an angle of the pedal body to send an angle sensing signal. The CPU analyzes the angle sensing signal to obtain angle data of the pedal body relative to an angle of a reference plane to accordingly learn an angle relationship between the pedal body and the reference plane. The angle relationship may coordinate with other sensing units, for example, data of a pedaling force sensing unit to mutually correct and analyze the data, so as to obtain correct pedaling force information. With the angle data, whether a pedaling angle of a rider is correct can be learned to prevent sports injuries caused by incorrect pedaling angles.
