The slot preferably moves the sweet spot of the hitting face a distance X from the face center of the hitting face. The slot may be partially or wholly filled with an insert.

The apparatus includes a drag chute with a rigid member disposed therearound and a clamp secured to each side of the drag chute. A transverse support rod is positioned between the clamps and includes an aperture therein, The apparatus further includes brackets at the top and bottom of the racquet head. A longitudinal support rod is positioned between the brackets and extends through the aperture in the transverse support rod. Thus, the transverse support rod, the side clamps, and the drag chute are slidable along the longitudinal support rod to adjust resistance. A locking mechanism can be used to lock the transverse support rod in a position along the longitudinal support rod.

Abstract: A mission-based cyber training platform allows both offensive and defensive oriented participants to test their skills in a game-based virtual environment against a live or virtual opponent. The system builds realistic virtual environments to perform the training in an isolated and controlled setting. Dynamic configuration supports unique missions using a combination of real and/or virtual machines, software resources, tools, and network components. Game engine behaves in a manner that will vary if participant attempts to replay a scenario based upon alternate options available to the engine. Scoring and leader boards are used to identify skill gaps/strengths and measure performance for each training participant. A detailed assessment of a player's performance is provided at the end of the mission and is stored in a user profile/training record.

Abstract: A game in which two players each attempt to occupy more spaces on a grid with their assigned playing tokens and also attempt to move a playing token to a center space on the grid. The grid, which may be mounted or printed on a board, includes four concentrically aligned circles and four perpendicularly aligned main connectors. Extending radially from the outer most circle to the inner most circle and from the outer most circle to the inner intermediate circle are intermediate and short segments, respectively. Intersections, called spaces, are formed where the main connectors and the segments intersect the circles. The object of the game is for the players to occupy the greatest number of spaces by adding new tokens or moving previously played tokens in a prescribed manner. Some moves result in the player's token being switched or replaced by a token owned by opposing player. The game ends when a player is unable to place a token on a space or when a player advances a token into the board's center space.
