Abstract: An apparatus for carrying foldable footwear that comprises a drawstring pouch having a side pocket that reversibly adjusts between undrawn and drawn states. When undrawn, the pouch is characterized by an opening at the top of the pouch that is dimensioned and configured for receiving a pair of foldable shoes in an interior of the pouch. When drawn, the pouch is characterized by a drawstring arranged on the upper portion sealing off the opening, thereby concealing the interior of the pouch. The apparatus further comprises a collapsible tote bag removably inserted in the side pocket, where the tote bag is configured to reversibly convert between unfolded and folded states. When unfolded, the tote bag is characterized by an interior portion that receives a pair of unfolded shoes, where the interior portion further includes a storage pocket. When folded, the tote bag is completely contained within the second pocket.

Abstract: A case assembly is configured for organized carrying of toiletries in a leak-proof manner within a suitcase, and for subsequent displaying of the toiletries within the case on a vanity countertop, particularly on hotel/motel and other guest-like bathroom vanities. A contour of an exterior portion of the case assembly is configured to corresponding/match a contoured portion of the suitcase interior, and to have an extent matching a full depth of the suitcase, to optimize space occupied therein. The case assembly includes: a case; a seal member; a cover configured to enclose the opening in the case, in a closed position; a cover support arm permitting selective pivotal movements of the cover; a latch to secure the cover in a leak-proof manner, in the closed position; and a display arm pivotally coupled to the cover, and configured to support the opened case cover at a desired display angle.

Abstract: A holder for a personal computing device (PCD) and method for allowing a user of a PCD to securely hold the PCD with a single finger; to selectively position his or her thumb horizontally, vertically, angularly, and a desired distance away from the PCD, when holding the PCD to more easily reach any point on the touchscreen with the thumb on his same hand without ever needing to resort to using his other hand; and allowing the user, in the alternative, to rest the PCD on a flat surface, such as to read articles or watch videos, and prop the PCD up at a multitude of angles, in both landscape and portrait orientations depending on whether the flat surface is high or low and whether the user is sitting or standing.

Abstract: A clothing accessory organization device. The clothing accessory organization device includes a housing with a base and one or more sidewalls forming an interior volume with an open upper end. Several storage compartments are placed within the interior volume through the upper end and are sized so that the positioning of the storage compartments may be easily rearranged within the interior volume. One or more retractable J-shaped hooks are placed within the housing and designed to slide between a retracted position and an extended position. The J-shaped hooks are adapted to hang the clothing accessory organization device from a flat surface when in the extended position, such as from the top of a door. The invention may also be positioned on a horizontal surface, such as on dresser top or within a drawer. Additionally, a retractable handle is located within a sidewall for easy transportation.

Abstract: An animal resistant bear bag (100) is comprised of a laminate (400) configuration comprised of specially formulated ballistic grade Spectra fabric (200), EVA (300), ethylene vinyl acetate and specially formulated Kevlar correctional grade fabric. The lamination process may involve various temperature ranges and various rolling and/or compression techniques. A bear and critter bag may contain food intended for human consumption and is designed and constructed to prevent bears and other animals from accessing, eating or otherwise absconding with the contained food. Animal resistance is enhanced by the use of use of four or so Spectra thread seams and the use of specially constructed cord. A uniquely designed access and closure system allows humans quick access to bag contents while solving the problem of using laminate that is too rigid to cinch closed with traditional systems. An exterior closing sleeve (500) may extend beyond the main bag assembly (600).

Abstract: A case for protecting a portable electronic device includes a first member, a second member, and a flexible hinge member. The first member is removably attachable to a first portion of the portable electronic device for covering an outer surface of the first portion of the portable electronic device while not covering a display screen area of the portable electronic device. The second member of the case is removably attachable to a second portion of the portable electronic device for covering the outer surface of the second portion of the portable electronic device while not covering the display. The flexible hinge member is in proximity to a hinging portion of the portable electronic device when the case is attached. The flexible hinge member permits articulation of the portable electronic device when the case is attached to the portable electronic device due to flexing of a flexible material.

Abstract: A container includes a pair of flaps, which can be brought close to one another, one of the flaps having a buttonhole; and a clasp designed to get through the buttonhole. The clasp includes an anchoring portion, which is fixed to the other one of the flaps; a wide portion, which is designed to prevent the clasp from moving apart from the buttonhole; and an intermediate connection portion, connected, through a pair of hinges, to the anchoring portion and to the wide portion, respectively. The wide portion and the anchoring portion are configured to rotate relative to the intermediate portion, so that the clasp is able to assume a plurality of operating conditions. The buttonhole is designed to interact with the clasp based on the operating condition assumed by the clasp, allowing the flaps or walls be brought close to one another or preventing them from moving apart.

Abstract: A bag having a quick release zipper lock. The bag has an internal compartment with a zipper closure. A locking rod is secured to an inner side of the zipper slider of the zipper closure. A zipper lock is secured within the internal compartment at the closed end of the zipper closure which lockably receives the locking rod. A quick release mechanism has a pull release cord with an end disposed external to the internal compartment. A cable couples the quick release mechanism to the zipper lock. Whereby upon exerting a pulling force on the pull release cord, the zipper lock releases the locking rod so as to permit the zipper slider to be moved from the closed end toward the open end for accessing the internal compartment of the bag.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure may relate to a bag having a retractable lock unit that may simultaneously prevent theft of the bag and theft of its contents. The bag may include the retractable lock unit which can be secured to the bag, a zipper system having a pair of zippers, and a locking ring. In some aspects, a user may draw the lock unit from its housing to the pair of zippers and lock the pair of zippers together so as to prevent the bag from being opened. In this way, the bag may provide additional security for the contents while the user has the bag on their person or near themselves. In other aspects, the user may draw the lock unit from its housing around one or more objects before securing it to the locking point and/or a pair of zippers. In this way, the bag may be securely anchored to the one or more objects thus preventing theft of the bag itself as well as preventing theft of the contents.

Abstract: The present invention provides a multiple sensors-based flexible anti-theft system, and a security travel bag and an anti-sexual assault garment using flexible anti-theft system. The flexible anti-theft system will not falsely trigger an alarm due to the overall motion or acceleration changes of a transport vehicle, and can effectively prevent personal articles in a suitcase or bag from theft. The flexible anti-theft system comprises: a multi-sensor module configured to correspondingly attach multiple motion sensors to multiple positions of the flexible material; a microprocessor module configured to receive output information from the multiple motion sensors and deduce, according to the output information, whether the flexible material undergoes abnormal movement; an alarm module configured to send out an alarm according to a judgment result of the microprocessor module; and a user identity authentication and working mode switching module connected with the microprocessor module.

Abstract: A hair treatment or styling apparatus adapted to impart a straightening and/or curling effect on hair includes both a novel thermally conductive construction and heating assembly, which conveys thermal energy uniformly to all areas of the treatment head such that the desired style is achieved regardless of the skill of the user. The apparatus further includes a hinge assembly incorporating one or more ceramic bearings units which provide smooth consistent resistance for pivoting movement of the treatment members and a more durable hinge joint thereby increasing the life and usability of the apparatus.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a decorative item with an interchangeable portion. The presently disclosed device can be attached to the hair, clothing, or other suitable surface and has an interchangeable decorative feature that does not require the purchase of a large number of similar items to vary the appearance of the decorative item. The preferred embodiment of the device is similar in nature to a barrette with the inclusion of two attachment means on opposing ends of the barrette. The interchangeable decorations can be attached to the attachment means on the barrette.

The male member can include a slot adapted to interface with a protrusion from the female member. The male member and the female member can each include an attachment mechanism to couple to various objects and/or tools.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a clip-on pouch to be attached to an article of clothing providing storage and immediate access to small items such as credit cards or spare keys for a home, car, or locker. The clip-on pouch is designed to be comfortable and concealable even when worn on undergarments. One embodiment provides storage for at least one spare key. Another embodiment provides a pouch sized large enough to store at least one credit card and spare key. Various designs for the clip are presented.

The body has a plurality of windows designed to improve the heat exchange of the first portion of the filaments with the environment during the rotation of the brush at high speeds so as to reduce the temperature.

Abstract: A bristled component for a cosmetic applicator comprising: an elongated carrier having a longitudinal axis; and at least a first plurality of bristles including at least one array of bristles ultrasonically welded to the carrier and outwardly extending therefrom according to a first pre-determined pattern, wherein the carrier and the bristles comprise ultrasonically compatible materials, and wherein the bristles are ultrasonically bonded to the carrier through a direct ultrasonic bond between a surface of the carrier and a lengthwise portion of each of the bristles.

Abstract: Smart toothbrush designs are provided. In one aspect, a toothbrush is provided which includes: a handle portion; and a head portion attached to the handle portion, wherein the head portion has bristles, a sample testing chamber containing at least one electronic sensor, a removable tip for drawing saliva samples into the sample testing chamber, and a calibration solution reservoir connected to the sample testing chamber. In another aspect, the head portion of the toothbrush has at least one optical sensor. A method for acquiring user data using the present smart toothbrush designs is also provided.

The shelf attachment assembly also includes a shelf attachment bracket which is fastenable to the wall. The shelf attachment bracket includes a first attachment and a second attachment aligned to receive the first aperture and second aperture, respectfully. The removable shelf is attached to the shelf attachment bracket, firstly, by inserting the second attachment through the hinge member portion of the second aperture. The removable shelf is then rotated such that the second attachment passes into the wall member portion of the second aperture and the first attachment is inserted through the first aperture.

The first leg is provided with a first motor to drive a first lifting apparatus for telescoping the first leg, while the second leg is provided with a second motor to drive a second lifting apparatus for telescoping the second leg. Each of the first motor and the second motor is provided with a magnetic device and two sensors. The magnetic device has several N-pole sections and S-pole sections, and the sensor detect a change of a magnetic field when the motor is turning. A control unit receives the signals of the sensor, and changes a speed of at least one of the motors until the signals are synchronous again when the control unit found that the signals are not synchronous.

Spindles are provided on opposing ends of the rectangular surface, and the spindles connect the pair of parallel elongated support members. A roll of paper can be suspended on a spindle and the paper can be stretched across the surface. The free end of the paper can be secured on the opposing side of the table by threading the paper through a slot that extends through the opposing spindle. The surface may further include a chalkboard thereon and one or more paper holders that maintain the position of the paper on the surface. Further, the drawing table includes legs that can be folded for storage, or unfolded so as to support the drawing table surface in a horizontal, elevated position.

The pivot block includes a body having a first end, a second end, a top edge, a bottom edge, and a cutout portion positioned between the top edge and the bottom edge. Abstract: An adjustable organizational system for single and multi-tiered cabinets, shelves, and drawers. The system segregates items inside a cabinet on different tiers of shelves, and then groups the segregated items on each shelf into size-dependent groups through length adjustable straps that have adjustable heights and lengths. Multiple groups of items can be segregated on the same shelf through positional and height adjustment of the straps. Straps are defined by a pair of free ends that are secured to the walls of cabinet to enable grouping of items based on the size, shape, and function of the item. Strap adjustment members detachably fasten free ends of straps into cabinet walls. Strap adjustment members comprise a side mounting block, a stud, and a retaining nut. Nut extends and retracts relative to stud and cabinet walls to adjust length and position of straps relative to adjacent straps and cabinet walls.

The upright adjustment mechanism may include a horizontal pin extending through a portion of the upright leg, such that the upright leg can pivot about the pin with respect to the foot. The upright adjustment mechanism may also include a tubular support extending upwardly from the foot. A portion of the upright leg extends into the opening of the tubular support. The pin extends through the tubular support and the portion of the upright leg such that the leg can pivot within the tubular support.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a dual motor lift chair for the elderly, which comprises a base, a seat lift, a back flexing mechanism and a leg flexing mechanism. The seat lift is arranged on the base, and the back flexing mechanism and the leg flexing mechanism are arranged on the seat lift. The present invention has a reasonable structure. When in the standing assistance configuration, the overall height of the lift chair increases, and the lift chair inclines forward at a certain angle, so that the center of gravity of the elderly rises and moves forward. Hence, an effective result of standing assistance is achieved, and the experience effect of the standing assistance is ensured. Furthermore, by setting the leg flexing mechanism and the back flexing mechanism, the flex of the body may be adjusted, and hence the comfortability of the chair is improved.

Abstract: A foldable chair includes a chair body having two rear legs, a metal seat movable upward and foldable on the rear legs so as to occupy little storage room. When the seat is moved to a seated position and when the rear legs are moved to a stretch-out position, the seat has a bottom edge seated on the top end of the rear legs and defines a straight line aligned with a middle line of the top end of the rear leg. An integrally formed strengthening structure extends across a bottom side of the seat so that gravity center of the seat is concentrated on the top ends of the rear legs, thereby strengthening the supporting ability of the rear legs relative to the seat so that even sitting of an overweight person on the seat does not deform and damage the seat and the rear legs.

A transparent electronic display is positioned within the door, a controller is electrically connected to the electronic display and configured to track the present time, a network connectivity device is in electrical connection with the controller and communication with a communications network, and a remotely located user interface receives user input through the communications network. The user input is used to generate the transparency data, which is used by the controller to drive the electronic display at various transparency levels.
