Abstract: An article transport facility comprises an article transport vehicle, a guide rail, and a fire door configured to open and close an opening formed in a wall. The fire door is rotatable with respect to the wall. The guide rail has a movable rail portion supported by the fire door, and two stationary rail portions arranged across the movable rail portion from each other. A movable guide portion is provided at one of an end portion of the movable rail portion and an end portion of the stationary rail portion. The movable guide portion is capable of being moved between a guiding position in which the movable guide portion connects the movable rail portion and the stationary rail portion with the fire door in an open position, and a retracted position for allowing unhindered movement of the fire door and the movable rail portion when the fire door is rotated.

Abstract: A tracked, portable radial stacker for stockpiling bulk material that includes a linear conveyor having a rear portion and a front portion and being designed to carry bulk material from a low position adjacent the rear portion to a higher position adjacent the front portion. A contact may be disposed adjacent the rear portion of the conveyor and designed to selectively contact the ground to facilitate pivoting of the conveyor. A continuous track system may also be included having a frame to which the conveyor is mounted, the track system including a pair of driven, parallel tracks designed to contact the ground to convey the stacker from one position to another, and to be lifted off the ground when desired. A pair of mid-wheels may be mounted to the frame that are displaceable between a raised position in which they do not contact the ground and a first lowered position in which they engage the ground.

Abstract: A conveyor system that includes a sprocket, a conveyor element, a sensor, a tensioning system, and an electronic processor. The conveyor element is coupled to the sprocket to move around the sprocket. The sensor is positioned adjacent to the sprocket and configured to generate an output signal indicative of a detection of the conveyor element. The electronic processor is coupled to the sensor and to the tensioning system. The electronic processor is configured to receive the output signal from the sensor, estimate a trajectory of the conveyor element based on the output signal, determine a value for slack distance based on the estimated trajectory of the conveyor element, and control the tensioning system based on the value for slack distance.
