Abstract: The present invention provides a curcumin-containing composition in which aggregation upon storage is suppressed or prevented. The object can be attained by a composition comprising curcumin, gum arabic, modified starch, and water, and having a median diameter of 1 ?m or less.

Abstract: Described herein is method of preparing a food including medicinal herb extracts for strengthening liver function. The method includes washing medicinal herbs, extracting the medicinal herbs to obtain extracts, passing the extracts through a packed column, aging and filtering the extracts, mixing the filtered extracts with palm oil and grape seeds to obtain a mixture, aging the mixture, sterilizing the aged mixture, passing the sterilizing mixture through a packed column, packaging the sterilized mixture, and making the packaged mixture into a final product. The medicinal herbs includes Hovenia dulcis, young leaves of Artemisia scoparia, Pueraria thunbergiana, Curcuma longa, Angelica gigas, licorice, or cinnamon. Also described herein is the food including medicinal herb extracts for strengthening liver function made according to the method.

It prevents juice from escaping, it diverts pulp efficiently toward a collector 13 or chute 150, it cooperates with a locking bar to keep the device safe and closed and it provides a platform for the feed tube. Abstract: The present invention is a method for vaporizing concentrate that will substantially eliminate general or localized burning of concentrate during the vaporization process and a device adapted for carrying out said method. The vaporization method is based on heating concentrate that has been absorbed into a frit, preferably fitted glass. Fritted glass is characterized by open-pore interstices that allow free passage of fluid through the frit. It is commonly used as a filtering element, particularly in high-temperature applications. It was discovered that concentrate placed in contact with fitted glass is absorbed through capillary action. Although room temperature concentrate may not readily seep fully into fritted glass, as concentrate is heated its viscosity is reduced such that it is readily absorbed by the fitted glass.

Abstract: A device for converting a consumable into an aerosol with high heat without burning the consumable by packaging the consumable containing an internal susceptor inside an encasement having a plurality of holes with an induction heating element wrapped around the consumable-containing package to heat the susceptor using a magnetic field generated by the induction heating element. Further, the design of the strapless, backless adhesive shaping breast lift comprises two breast support structures, wherein each of the breast support structures comprises a plurality of tabs at the upper portion and a plurality of scallops at the bottom portion of the brassiere, so as to maintain a round breast shape, even on a larger cup size. The adhesive material allows a user to pull the plurality of the tabs and scallops to adjust the shape of the brassiere while distributing the weight of the breast on the tabs and scallops. Further, circular cuts between the tabs help to maintain a round shape of the breast by minimizing the size and number of creases on the brassiere.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a crossover maternity panel that may be attached to any lower garment worn throughout pregnancy and post-partum body changes. The crossover maternity panel may be a belly panel comprised of a single piece of fabric or multiple pieces connected with seams, and wrap around from the front to the back of the wearer. The portions may overlap in the back of the wearer as they decrease in height to create a crossover triangular section that provides support to the lumbar region of the wearer. The crossover maternity panel may be attached to any lower garment such as a pant, short, skirt, skort, or the like. The flexible and stretchable material of the crossover maternity panel allows the wearer to have support for the enlarged belly, support for increased pressure and laxity on the wearer's sacroiliac joints and lower back, as well as comfort and mobility.

Abstract: A bead for use with a string bikini has a body with a front face in a rear face, a first passageway extending through the body and a second passageway extending through the body. These first and second passageways intersect and the bead is collapsible so as to move the front face toward the rear face. The passageways are adapted for receiving the strings of a string bikini so as secure the strings in the position relative to each other. The bead allows for tying a string bikini in a number of unconventional ways. The present invention also provides a string bikini with such a bead, and method for using a securing a string bikini.

The garment is formed by folding a rectangular stretchable material in half and sewing side edges, except for a small portion which is left unattached, to create a stretchable band. The exterior components and the stretchable material are pulled through the opening left at the unattached portion in the stretchable material and is finally sewn to form the finished garment. The one or more keepers may be capable of being secured to the headwear. The one or more flexible elongated members may extend from the one or more keepers and be capable of being positioned around at least a portion of the user's head (e.g., his or her chin, etc.). The adjustment device may enable adjustment of an effective length of the one or more flexible elongated members and, thus, tightening or loosening of the one or more flexible elongated members relative to the portion of the user's head around which they are positioned (e.g., the user's chin, etc.).

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a sandal, wherein the toe thong location of said sandal is customised for a wearer. For a particular wearer, the optimal location of the toe thong of the sandal may be determined by applying a computer algorithm, which takes into account foot data of the wearer, which foot data may be obtained from image/video capture technology. The method makes use of a custom toe thong insert, which is embedded within the sole of the sandal. The custom toe thong insert is configured to receive and securely engage with a fastener attached to the toe thong and foot strap, such that the toe thong will be positioned at or proximate to the optimal location for the particular wearer. Also disclosed herein is a sandal with a customised toe thong location that is made in accordance with the above-described method.

Abstract: A method of forming a fiber reinforced plate for an article of footwear is described. The method includes embroidering a reinforcing strand to a substrate layer with a thread according to a strand configuration. One or more substrate layers with strand configurations are arranged relative to a base plate. The one or more substrate layers are bonded to the base plate to form the fiber reinforced plate. The reinforcing strands may be formed of a heat fusible material so that adjacent segments of the strands bond to one another and/or the substrate layer. Various strand configurations of reinforcing strands embroidered to substrate layers are described. Multiple substrate layers with different strand configurations can be bonded together with a base plate to form a fiber reinforced plate with reinforcement at selected locations based on the strand configurations.
