Abstract: An autonomous cargo container retrieval and delivery system locates a select cargo container and maneuvers an unmanned aerial vehicle proximate to the container for retrieval. The vehicle positions itself to engage the cargo container using a grasping mechanism, and, responsive to engaging the cargo container, retracts the cargo container toward the vehicle. As the cargo container is retracted toward the vehicle, weight sensors within the retrieval mechanism sense the weight and the weight distribution of the cargo container, and, can modify the cargo container's location on the vehicle to optimize vehicle flight operations or replace the container on the ground and alert the operator that the cargo container is too heavy or has an improper weight distribution. Upon mating the cargo container with the vehicle, a coupling mechanism latches or secures the cargo container to the vehicle for further flight and/or ground operations.

Abstract: In the counter-top fabrication business, the biggest and most serious problem is the movement of material. The biggest reason for concern is that kitchen countertop pieces can weigh anywhere from 200 to 1200 pounds. The racks used to transport pieces are normally 4 to 8 inches tall off the ground which is just enough room for the forks of a forklift to raise the rack. Therefore, installers must squat all the way to the ground to lift the pieces. The invention we created is an easy lift rack raising the height of the countertop material as high as possible on the rack while still being able to travel safe. We have lifted the rack as high as possible to reach what OSHA calls the “power zone” for lifting. Our rack can easily be moved around with a forklift, and allows for safe and easy loading/unloading of countertop material.

Abstract: A system for treating wastewater includes an intermodal shipping container and a scalable, modular receptacle spaced apart from interior walls of the container. The receptacle includes a plurality of frame structures spaced apart from one another. The frame structures each include two elongate frame members that are spaced apart from one another and that extend in parallel. The receptacle further includes an insulation member supported between the frame members of adjacent frame structures. The insulation member defines an inner surface that is coplanar with inner surfaces of the frame members. The receptacle further includes an impermeable liner that is configured to hold a large volume of liquid. The liner has a liner wall that is positioned against the inner surface of the insulation member and the inner surfaces of the frame members to support the liner wall against a hydraulic load of the liquid.

Abstract: A child-resistant container including a container body, a lid, and at least one resilient tab is provided. The lid is pivotable about an axis through a hinge joining the lid to the container body to open and close the container. The resilient tab has a proximal portion fixed to the lid, a distal portion projecting from the lid, and at least one abutment on the distal portion. The abutment on the distal portion of the tab is normally biased into engagement with an abutment on the container body when the lid is in its closed position. The distal portion of the tab is displaceable against the bias to disengage the abutment of the tab from the abutment of the container. Displacement of the tab releases the lid so that it can be pivoted about the hinge to open the container.
