  • Patent number: 10392831
Abstract: There is disclosed a dead-latching slam bolt lock that includes a rotating dead-latching slam bolt which prevents attempts at breaking in without actuating the lock mechanism. A tongue or toggle acted on by the door jamb engages the bolt and initiates rotation thereof in the door closing direction, but is passive in the opening direction. The locking mechanism may be manual or electronic, and controls the position of a blocking element which alternately prevents and permits unlocking (rotation) of the rotating bolt. In a forward or blocking position, the blocking element prevents rotation of the bolt from a locked position, while in a retracted position the blocking element permits rotation of the bolt to an unlocked position. A spring detent plunger holds the rotating bolt in either its locked or unlocked positions.

  • Patent number: 10392834
Abstract: A trapped key interlock system is disclosed. A pair of hollow tubular casings located one inside the other and each having a series of elongate slots are used. When the lock is in a locked condition the elongate slots are aligned as inner and outer pairs with engaging members extending through the pairs of slots is preventing rotational movement of the tubular casings relative to each other. The engaging members are biased towards this locked condition. On insertion of the correctly coded key the engaging members are caused to move against the biasing force out of engagement with the slots in the outer tubular casing thereby allowing the inner tubular casing to rotate relative to the outer tubular casing and moving the lock to an unlocked condition.

  • Patent number: 10392852
Abstract: A door opening and closing operating system includes a pressurized fluid source (102), two fluid control push pull valves (144a), (144b), and a double acting cylinder (160) which is mounted to the movable element of a door (66) mounted within its adjacent frame (62) for the purpose of opening and closing the door. This system utilizes two push pull valves connected fluid-wise to opposite sides of the piston. Activating or energizing one push pull valve while deactivating the second push pull valve connects the first cylinder chamber to the pressurized fluid source, and vents the second chamber, thereby pushing the piston in a first direction, which pushes the door in a first direction. Energizing the second push pull valve and de-energizing the first push pull valve has the opposite effect, and moves the piston and attached door in a second direction opposite the first direction.

Abstract: Systems of an electrical vehicle and the operations thereof are provided. A powered accessory port may be utilized to selectively reveal/conceal an interior portion, such as charging connection when the powered accessory port is disposed on the exterior of a vehicle, or a user device connection, such as when the powered accessory port is disposed in the interior of the vehicle. The powered accessory port, when energized, provides a rotational force that is partially translated into a longitudinal force such that the single rotational force provides both a lifting (or lowering) motion as well as a rotational motion.
